5 Stars for a brightly-lit coffee shop inside the Hotel Haya, featuring good coffee and a quick, but decadent breakfast bowl. I ordered the breakfast bowl over tater tots with bacon and subbed in tofu scrambled eggs. It was a greasy delight! Honestly- this would be the perfect post night-out breakfast... Note to self! The coffee shop has plenty of seating and I was able to bring my laptop and get some work done. With that said, the rest of the hotel has incredible spots for some low-key working, so check those out too. The overall vibe of the café is nice and illuminated and well spaced out. The entire space is very coroner focus but you can always go back into the hotel area, which is extremely comfortable and has plenty of area to sit in. The coffee was just OK. Nothing spectacular. The person I was with tried one of the blueberry flavored coffees and she did not like it. I ordered a cheese and guava pastry. The flavor itself was delicious and it had the right amount of crisp and fluffiness. However, the pastry had some guava on the outside, and when they packaged it inside the sleeve wrapper, it absolutely destroyed the entire pastry topping. The result was an absolute mess to try to eat. Hands and fingers completely sticky, trying to make my way through that bag. Definitely not the way these should be wrapped to go. read more

I was staying at Hotel Haya and this was the perfect cafe to have downstairs. On day one I checked into my room and was getting ready to head down to the pool when I realized the cafe stops doing food at 2pm. I didn't want to miss my window, but I wasn't ready to walk downstairs yet. I called down to the cafe and they happily took my odred over the phone knowing that I would be down just after 2pm to collect it. The cuban croissant was a great snack that's less filling than a whole sandwich and the croquetas were solid as well. I loved the Guava Rosa latte and am gonna buy some guava puree to try and recreate it at home. Aside from the hotel space, they have lots of places you could work on your laptop or just relax for a bit. Whether you're a guest or not, this is a great cafe in the heart of Ybor. read more

Awesome coffee shop! I stayed at Hotel Haya and visited this coffee shop 3 different times. Drip coffee is included in your hotel stay, which was a nice surprise. When I first arrived I picked up a croissant from the refrigerator that the employee told me was egg salad. Unfortunately it was chicken salad and they apologized so many times. They offered to make me anything from the menu in place of it, which was over the top nice. I had a breakfast bowl over tater tots, and they even had vegan sausage! I also added a fruit cup. On my next morning, I had a large coffee (great, bold, dark roast - 10/10) and a guava and cheese pastelito. It was flaky and sweet and just perfect. On my other visit I had a yogurt parfait and an iced guava latte (had to get my guava fill while in Florida) and everything was fresh and delicious. The line was long in the morning with all guests from the hotel, so be aware and plan ahead for that. Also the doors were open the whole time despite it being hot and humid outside. There's a very real possibility that this just wasn't my kind of place. The vibe was very....Instagram. Like those people who go places just to be seen. The price to quality ratio was a bit off too. I was on vacation and never mind spending (vacation me is completely different than normal me) Someone said the sandwiches were microwaved and I thought the same because mine was frozen in the middle. Also our coffee order was lost somehow and we had to go reorder it, not the end of the world but still a little annoying. Me and my friend visited in the mid afternoon on a Saturday so there weren't too many customers. We each ordered a flavored latte (vanilla and lavender, respectively) and a pastry. I can't remember what my friend for but I got a chocolate croissant. We ordered separately but the clerk still offered me their happy hour BOGO deal on pastries which was so nice and unexpected. The coffee is my latte was rich and the flavor was sweet without being overbearing. I think I spent about $7 on the coffee including tip so average price. read more

Cafe Quiquiriqui is a beautiful cafe in historic Ybor. It's in the Hotel Haya which itself is absolutely stunning. The staff are always friendly and approachable. Their pastry selection is quite good and it seems like they have many drink options too! I got the spinach pastry and a cheese pastelito. On a prior visit, I got this INCREDIBLE beef sandwich but unfortunately they no longer serve it. The spinach pastry dough was flaky and buttery perfection. The filling so creamy and savory. One of the most prettiest cafes in Ybor City, FL. On one half of the bar they have giant windows letting the natural light in and allowing customers to watch the busy streets. On the other half of the bar is a quieter space with individual study cubbies and a giant meeting table.The place is surrounded with hanging plants and adorable decoration making the atmosphere perfect.When i went i ordered a honey agave latte and a spinach pastry and they were so good i searched for a recipe!!!Definitely a must stop spot when you're in the city.The cafe is open to the public but it's also connected to the Hotel Haya ! I always get the cold brew. It has an excellent flavor and with a touch of vanilla it is out of sight. Also, on occasion, I will have a breakfast sandwich and it never fails to delight. A great quick sip winning Ybor city. Came here for a quick café con Leche and caramel latte which were both delicious but of course on the pricier side as normal with such a establishment. This place is attached to Hotel Haya, and is a really nice trendy cafe. My husband and I stopped in for our morning coffee date, and service was quick. I had a cafe con leche (they use sweetened condensed milk), a chocolate croissant and the breakfast quesadilla. My husband had the avocado toast. Food was great and the coffee was good. It is located at the corner of and inside Hotel Haya and is really nice inside full of hanging planters. There was a line to order but it moved fairly quickly and the service was friendly. We ordered two croissants, an americano, and a cafe con leche. The chocolate croissant and cafe con leche were good. The americano was served extremely hot and my husband ended up burning his tongue pretty bad. Overall, fairly average and nothing to write home about. read more

Went to this spot the morning I was checking out of Hotel Haya. It was such a cute and convenient location. The breakfast sandwiches were absolutely delicious. I got the caprese and the croissant with egg and bacon. The service was very friendly and accommodating to our requests. We also ordered coffees, though these were not our favorite (I am very, very picky about coffee though). I would love to come back when I'm back in town! read more

The Cafe con Leche was not authentic at all--it was basically a latte with sugar. Sandwiches are SKIMPY--like three slices of deli meat--and tasted like it was premade and heated up in a microwave for $14+. Service is also not very attentive or careful, and they will mess up orders, but at least they are pleasant when you ask for corrections. In sum, this place feels like a trap for the hotel guests staying at Haya. If you want good food and authentic café, look elsewhere.. read more

As a local who comes here often, I do wish they circulated more special specialty food options as I tend to get bored with the same options and stop coming as often. It is a cafe near Hotel Haya in Tampa Ybor. The cafe is amazing, beautifully decorated. The atmosphere was lovely with a free wifi and can be a good place to work. The staff is amazing and serve the customers with a smile on their face. From the menu I ordered Cappuccino with Almond Milk and Overnight Oats. The service was amazing and I got my order quickly. This is a beautiful restaurant within a hotel. My party of 4 entered on 7th Street to find a cafe, coffee, and pastries. Not exactly what we were expecting. My little sister, with all the energy, went to explore as we were expecting a sit-down restaurant. She found that the total opposite side within a street was the actual entrance, sort of a restaurant within a restaurant. We stood waiting for someone to notice us and seat us. There were 3 or so tables with guests dining. She finally went an ask for assistance by a aproned lady standing against the wall. Acknowledgment took a least 5 minutes. Finally a lady dressed in all black clothing came to seat us. 5 more minutes siting in a near empty restaurant 2 hrs after opening, our waitress took coffee orders. 10 minutes for them to come out. Appetizers 15minutes. 20 more minutes for breakfast to come out. Everyone meal was cold, by this point nothing surprises me. Meals were tasty,nothing over the top. I enjoyed my egg torta with potatoes. No overwhelming seasoning at all, more on the bland side. I wondered if it was hot or even warm how good it may have been. Manchego cheese triangles, just 2 Slithers. Ham croquettes were crispy and flavorful, toast with tomatoes spread best thing on my plate. My friends enjoyed their meals, mostly. I'm giving this restaurant because of the super slow service and for me, there were just to many dogs dining along side their pet parents as well as barking. UGHHHH. There is an outside area, not sure why they were not seated outside opposed to on the bar or table. Pets are cute but this is a hotel that I absolutely positively would never stay in. read more

The cafe is off to the side in the lobby of Hotel Haya. I went on a Sunday around what I guess was checkout time because it was quite busy. The vanilla latte with almond milk was good not anything to write home about but good. I also ordered a breakfast quesadilla that I waited quite some time for. It was just tortilla, mostly cheese, not enough eggs, and some peppers. Again good but nothing out of the ordinary. The best thing about this place is the ambiance. It's a good place to get some work done and they have a good amount of menu items include Cafe con Leche and espresso pours. It's nothing too fancy on the coffee list, but solid line-up. They have some baked goods for-sale too. Seating is really spread out so you can have your own space and since it's near the Hotel Lobby, Wi-Fi quality is good as well.
