Local bagel shops. Big fat bagels. $1.75 for a bagel. $20 for a dozen. Close to the prospect park train station

Had breakfast here with a friend recently and was quite pleased. The menu has a variety of options to choose from; bagels, omelets, coffee, etc. My friend and I had a delicious omelet with whole wheat toast. I grabbed some fresh orange juice although I wanted an iced coffee (I'll have that next time of course). The line moves very quickly in here and there's seating inside to enjoy your meal. The staff are patient and friendly. I'll be back here soon without question!

STOP FORGETTING the FETA cheese in my Greek omelettes. Twice this weekend NO feta! I'm done! Flavorless!

Stop leaving key ingredients out of omelette and making excuses. All weekend you got my breakfast orders wrong. In a row. Not okay, I'm done! Flavorless omelette without Feta, that's what makes it GREEK!

ten dollars for two bagels with cream cheese. Blueberry bagel with tofu creamcheese add avocado, and sesame bagel with plain cream cheese. Fresh bagels lots of workers in the baking part of the store. you can tell its fresh out. Lady working counter is friendly, a good place for bagels but a bev from the fridge is $3.

I was in and out so quick! The service was awesome. I was more than happy with the bagel that I ordered. It was stacked full with lots of salmon and cream cheese!! Just the way I love it. Thanks so much. I will surely be back again for that pure Brooklyn ambiance.

I love this shop! They're cash preferred which isn't always convenient, but who cares when every bagel you get is delicious? The team is always so friendly. They're quick most of the time, but I have seen them get backed up in a rush. The bagels are worth it! They give a nice portion, too. I always have half for breakfast and half a couple hours later. There's seating for only a handful of people, so I typically opt for take away. It's a great option if you want to pick up some bagels and head to Prospect Park for a stroll after.

It's a fine bagel and fresh but absolutely no taste. I mean if you add a ton of extras then sure it would be good; just like on a piece of cardboard Not a destination shop unless in the area

I stopped here prior to a running event in prospect park. I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel with walnut raisin cream cheese. The bagels were very fresh and soft. I would definitely return if I was in the area.

It's like a bagel utopia right on Flatbush Avenue! I'm not a morning person but whenever I get a bagel from here "it's a good morning". Seems like the bulk of the other reviews have been written by other "non-morning" people who were a little hangry. Nonetheless, I have been here many times in person and recommend that you try them out. Whoa, the bagels! They are hearty and tasty. They definitely embody the classic NY flavor without being dry. The egg bagels deserve an honorable mention. And the cream cheese options are mighty varied though I just stick to the savory ones that preferably have chives in them. The price is on par with other bagel shops in highly re-gentrified areas; steep but you definitely get what you pay for. I gladly fork out the $10.50, $11.43 with taxes for the Italian hero which is the shining star in my opinion. It's a swine lover's dream atop the bagel of your choice. I opt for a perfectly toasted poppy seed bagel and nix the tomatoes. I go and forth with whether to add Mayo or not because it's not completely necessary; the included oil and vinegar hits the spot too. I have only been able to make it through one half for breakfast but trust me the other half is just as good for lunch. I recommend that you come through on the earlier end of traditional breakfast hours, definitely before hunger has set in and you are to patiently wait for your bagel to be made just the way that you like it.

Bagels were nice and soft, not sure why this place only has 3 stars. Everything bagel in particular was tasty and well-put together.

You pay $8 per person for three hours, which seems absolutely incredible. They have delicious bubble teas and some light bites. They have teas and coffees too. Super shout out to the woman working there today (12/29) because my little cousin is not an adventurous eater and she recommended the lychee boba and gave him a sample. He never tries things but did and really enjoyed it. I am so thankful for everyone's kindness who worked there. A cool atmosphere with lots of meetups and games going on. Huge positive that you can make a reservation. I can't wait to come back!

The store was pretty emptied at the time, and clerk informed about pricing per hour for game play (board and card games). I decided to skip the games, since all I wanted was some food to-go. Got the pastry and a latte drink. The pastry was a bit off; cheese filling was too sour and the pastry just didn't taste that fresh. The matcha latte drink wasn't good neither; very small amount of Matcha flavor, but plenty of milk. Will probably come back for game play only

People have left some odd reviews of this place, including a one-star review for the restaurant…read moreapparently being highly politicized--a vibe I neither felt nor could visually identify within or without the establishment. I ordered a single burger and a Sudan spiced peanut butter latte, for ~$15! That's pretty inexpensive for New York City. I note this as some consider it overpriced. I suppose the food is fairly inexpensive, the lattes slightly higher than average. The "burger" comes wrapped in a homemade pita with diced cucumber, onion, and tomato, plus a few crispy, thick-cut fries and a yummy house sauce. It was a cool twist of the traditional burger and had a nice flavor. The sauce was like a slightly Mediterranean version of Big Mac sauce. The girl working as the barista and cashier was very nice and friendly. She had a nice presence and warm smile, made suggestions, and even gave a stranger free utensils when they popped on to ask. I think it's definitely worth checking out, and it's a good place for a cheap & simple meal that's still quirky and fun.

Perhaps I should have anticipated that, or my mistake in ordering. I also ordered a Moroccan egg salad sandwich which was substantive but surprisingly bland--sparse with the advertised capers and pickled red onions to give it more punch. I've always loved the look of the spot and the vibe--funky decor, outside and indoor facing counters to order, with some outdoor seating for people watching on Dekalb or heading nearby Ft. Greene Park. I see they are renovating and rebranding a bit and adding some burger component. While I didn't love it, I'd definitely give it another shot.
