no no no no. prarie (sp?) did my hair. bad color bad cut. i got highlights and she splotched and the top of my hair doesn't match the bottom. the cut looks nothing like the picture i brought in. i've heard other bad things about her too. i think the salon lost a few good beauticians and has slipped. everyone was friendly and nice. and good atmosphere. read more

I've been seeing Alisa at Sanuk, however she just moved here. I had been dying my hair dark (i'm naturally a dirty blonde) and by dying brown there was a lot of red in my hair that i wanted to get rid of and go back to natural. Alisa did this in 2 sessions of highlighting (getting red out of blonde hair is very, very difficult to do I now know), and she really did an amazing job! She made it look very natural and really took her time in placement and mixing colors. I would highly recommend going to her! She's really nice, easy to talk to, and damn good at what she does! read more

I just had my lashes done with Miranda at the Flaunt Salon and I love them so much! It took no time at all and they are absolutely beautiful. She attached them to the base above my lashes which I love even better than the eyelash extensions that they attach to your actual lashes. They aren't hard (my previous experiment with extensions ended me with a scratched eyeball they were so pokey). Would highly recommend. read more

A couple weeks ago I had a massage with Kyle. She is amazing!!! I have struggled with finding a good massage therapist since moving from Chicago, but I don't have to search any longer. Kyle completely understood what I needed, and I left feeling so much better. She is sweet, professional, and most importantly, does a wonderful job. Best massage I've had in Colorado! This review is really for Prairie Hawk, one of the stylists @ Flaunt. A couple of days ago, she gave me the BEST cut I have had in a really, really long time! She said she'd cut the shape into the cut so I wouldn't have to do much styling since I'm a VERY low maintenance person, and she really delivered! I absolutely love this cut, have gotten a ton of compliments and feel great. I think she's a very talented stylist, one who can actually look at your face and help you decide what will work best for you while also taking your ideas into consideration. I've been going to Andrew Armand at Flaunt since my previous stylist moved out of state a few years ago. After having some bad experiences in my younger years, I have become very selective about who I allow to touch my hair, but he came so highly recommended that I had to give him a shot. I must say that he is AMAZING. I'm not good about coming up with my own ideas about styles, color, etc. Fortunately, Andrew took the time to feel out my personality and lifestyle and always makes sure that the styles he gives me matches them. I constantly get compliments on my hair and I love the personalized colors he mixes just for me. There has not been a single time in the last two years that I haven't walked out completely in love with my look, whether my hair was short or long. From personal observation, I can tell you that all of the stylists are good and I recommend Flaunt to all of my friends. Oh and Jenn Armand gives the best airbrush tans in town! (Gotta love a family owned business.) I am not sure what product she uses, but it smells sooooo much better than other products I have tried. I'm fair skinned and she always makes sure that my color looks natural, not over the top. Yesterday was my first time going to Flaunt Salon. I had decided to try it out and purchased a partial highlight and cut on Bloomspot. I was so impressed with the space and the stylists! I was introduced to Prairie who immediately made me feel welcome. We began by discussing my color and, being a really picky blonde, with specific highlight expectations, she really got it. so, went for a wax appointment. i'd never been to this salon before, and was really impressed with the friendly staff and really unique decor, and the fact that all the clientele seemed to be really happy to be there. it honestly made me want to make an impromptu hair appointment just to check their services out, since i haven't been able to find a decent hair stylist in the two years i've lived here. anyway, then, i got taken to the wax room. eek. the first thing i noticed was that it was...well, dirty. and kinda run-down-looking. on the way down to the actual room, the floors looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in about a week. then when we get to the waxing room, the first thing i notice is that the towel i was supposed to lay on while on the waxing table had a stain on it. it kinda grossed me out, and i seriously had to take a moment to consider whether i should just leave and go back to my usual waxing the city chick. i decided to stick it out since i'd already paid, even though as i looked around i couldn't help but notice the floors were filthy (alas, even the throw rug couldn't hide it), the sink was stained and gross, and everything was just disorganized and grimy-looking. it didn't look very sterile, let's put it that way. and i figure when you're going somewhere to get any kind of skin work done, it should be in an if not sterile than at least not dirty environment. it's a shame, too, because beyond cleaning, they really wouldn't have to do a ton of work to the room to make it look halfway decent. the girl who did my wax (miranda) was awesome. very professional and thorough, and seemed like a really sweet girl. so if i was basing this review on her job alone, it'd be a good five-star rating. unfortunately, i was just too skeezed out by the dirty wax room. sorry, flaunt. waxing is terrible. many hairs remaining, and I needed to use a razor to address them. skin care products are not available for sale. prices compared on the website do not reflect the fact that some studios (Urban Wax) INCLUDE GRATITUITY while this place does not. Classy setting and lovely people, but poor, poor quality waxing. I will NOT return. read more

Alisa is awesome, I have been a client of hers for years and couldn't be happier with my cut and color. She is great about working with me and my hair to give me exactly what I want. At the start of every appointment, Alisa talks to me about what I would like before she begins and she REALLY listens. She pays attention to detail and always makes sure I'm happy with the results before I leave. She is also amazing at highlights (I have medium length light brown/blonde hair). I have changed my highlights several times over the past few years - everything from blonde to brown - and have been really impressed with how natural it looks and how she can pull off exactly what I am looking for each time. Ever since I've been seeing Alisa I have gotten compliments on my hair, and it's all thanks to her. Best of all, she is very generous with her time, she never makes you feel like she's rushing to her next appointment and she always has a smile ready. I can't recommend her enough.
