The fare is the same as other Paneras, but there's two things that are losing stars at this one…read more I ordered Canada Dry Ginger ale in the app, and the fountain says it's Schweppes, which does not actually have any ginger in it last time I checked. So I would love to know which I am actually getting. And the music on the patio is too loud to have a conversation over, and the speakers are positioned so you cannot escape it. It ruins an otherwise great patio seating area. Not sure if they are allowed to turn it down or if staff chose the volume to keep people from enjoying the patio.

At 7:30 PM, I placed a delivery order directly through the Panera app. After waiting for an hour, the delivery driver arrived, but instead of our food, we were handed an order of bubble tea from a completely different restaurant (Hui Lau Shan). When I called the Cupertino store to resolve this, I spoke with a staff member named Lizbeth. Her response was completely unacceptable. Because my order was placed on the Panera app, my transaction and contract were with Panera Bread. However, instead of taking ownership of the issue, Lizbeth immediately tried to shift the blame, telling me it was a "DoorDash issue" and insisting that I needed to contact DoorDash myself to figure it out. It was only after I strongly objected to this blatant evasion of responsibility that she finally agreed to initiate a 3-way call with DoorDash and me. This entire ordeal took another agonizing hour to resolve over the phone. Ultimately, DoorDash refunded Panera, and Panera issued a refund to me--though I was told I would not even receive a confirmation email for this refund. By the time this was "resolved" at 9:00 PM, my family of four was left completely without dinner. We wasted an hour and a half dealing with an unfulfilled order, but what makes this experience truly infuriating is the lack of accountability and the dismissive attitude displayed by your staff. Attempting to pass the buck to a third-party delivery service for an order placed on your own native platform is unacceptable customer service. I expect a prompt response to this email, confirmation that my refund has indeed been fully processed, and an explanation of how you intend to address this severe lapse in customer service at the Cupertino location.

The fries unfortunately didn't travel well with the to-go order and ended up soggy instead of crispy. Overall, it's still a decent spot for a quick and convenient lunch. Will probably try other banh mi spot before coming back.

We have always driven by this place and were curious about the banh mi and food…read more It is clean with a large interior and lots of parking. We went around 5pm on a Thursday and we were the only one in the restaurant. We thought it was closed initially. There are a lot of tables, but we figured we were just early for dinner. But, by the time we finished our meal, there was only 2 other tables that came. We ordered: - Special Vermicelli with Lemongrass-Marinated Tofu: This was okay and the portion size was big. The description said "eggrolls" but it only came with 1 eggroll. The eggroll also was kind of small. Make sure you ask for extra fish sauce otherwise the noodles will be dry. - Lemongrass Beef Banh Mi: the portion size was small for the price and was served on a basket. The bread was good, but we wouldn't get this again. Also, we were wondering how sanitary the basket that it was served on was (seems hard to clean, etc.) We would have felt better if the basket had some sort of disposable liner or plate. When you eat, the food may fall back into the basket, etc. They have fruit/cucumber water. We were the only table there for awhile and no one checked in in us. I had to walk up to the front to ask for extra fish sauce. Overall, this was a miss for us. Sorry Pho Banh Mi!

I love bento boxes, especially Taiwanese Bento boxes, so this obviously gets five stars from me…read more One note is that you need to know what to get, though. Not all the dishes here are five stars, but if you know what you're doing, it's five stars. I prefer the five-spice fried chicken bento box. It seems like they vary a little, the vegetables, depending on what's in season or what they got, but it generally always tastes good. I really like the Taiwanese cabbage. It's flavored well and salty, but not too salty. I would totally skip the pork belly unless you just love eating fat. I find that it is pretty much all fat and very little actual pork meat. The beef brisket stew is a hit or miss. Sometimes it is also too fatty, and once in a while, it is okay. Probably safer to stay away and just go with the five-spice fried chicken. The bento boxes are a better bang for the buck. The other dishes like bowls are much smaller. I also really like the sausage on the side. Yum, Taiwanese sausage. Anyway, highly recommend this place for a quick meal, but you need to know what to get.
