    #12 Grilled Chicken Banh Mi

Was in a rush so got a chicken banh mi. I will admit it's better than most of the other places I have tasted?

wanted to do quick pick up before heading back to the city. put in a phone order and that was a mistake. Ordered a #4 pho and was given vegetarian pho. ordered a drink and asked for no boba, but the jelly was missing, too sweet when i asked for light ice too. a bit of a disappointment.

Pho is ehh, I order number 7 spicy beef soup. Came not spicy, they used spaghetti noodles, it had Chả lụa (pork) slices and came with red and green cabbage iso bean sprouts. There is a 10% service charge automatically for parties of 1 (one) or larger. That's right an automatic service charge. On the bottom of the receipt they change the term to gratuity. Ambiance is okay decently decorated. This is one of three the guy owns. Not sure why people vote 4 stars on Google. The owner is friendly enough but flavor of broth for the Seafood and Beef Pho are just mediocre at best.

I ordered the spring rolls and was honestly really disappointed. They only had lettuce, vermicelli, beef, and some kind of apple slice that didn't add any flavor. For $13 ($4 each), I expected more ingredients like cucumber, carrots, and cilantro. Definitely not worth the price.

This place got restructured with new management and they were doing a grand opening with 15 percent off! The best with the window seating and it being spacious everywhere. Obviously got the combination and it was interesting that they only had once size for pho! The combination definitely didn't lack all the fatty stuff, it had your fair share of steak and meatballs. It was a nice walk from home depot and around the neighborhood. Enjoyed the atmosphere there!

Finally got a chance to try this newer pho place in our 'hood. I'm recovering from a cold and nothing beats some warm pho to help soothe the congestion and calm a cough. Walked in and it had a familiar vibe as it used to be a Burger King that we frequented! The basic layout is still the same which is not a bad thing. There's a very spacious dining room that is well lit and adorably decorated, and even a drive -thru! Service was friendly and quick. We ordered two bowls of pho (beef steak and meatballs without the meatballs, and beef steak with brisket instead of meatballs) and one pork belly banh mi sandwich. I liked how they were able to accommodate our special requests. Everything was fresh and tasty! The pho was a very ample serving size with a good amount of meat. One minor disappointment is that the plate of fresh vegetables (mint, bean sprouts, lemon wedges) did not include jalapeno slices. The sandwich had lots of filling. Subtracting one star because of the automatic 10% service charge, in addition to several signs around the restaurant asking us to leave tips on the table. We did both and always do, so being reminded of that felt less welcoming.

Lemongrass beef banh mi, Vietnamese iced coffee

Loved the ambiance and decor of this place, and how unique that it is also a drive thru! This has definitely been my first time seeing drive thru pho! I dined in and we got the lemongrass banh mi, combination vermicelli bowl, and a viet iced coffee. I thought the banh mi was delicious with great lemongrass flavor. The vermicelli bowl was such a generous serving and packed with flavor, but would like to see more finely chopped greens and bean sprouts. The iced coffee I could have gone without; it could have been stronger as it tasted watered down and was missing that condensed milk taste.

This was my first time here. I was really hungry and decided to come to this place because it was really close by to my location. I should have walked out when I saw the pho prices at $20 and up! I ordered 1 of 4 choices of pho. I ordered the steak pho without meat balls. I asked for extra onions and cilantro, but only got a bunch of chopped green onions. The temperature of the broth was barely warm and did not have the best flavor. I was highly disappointed and will not be coming back here! I did not finish my food and did not leave a tip! This was not pho and I did feel like it was ripped off. Please do not come here!

Decided to do their drive-thru and ordered their special vermicelli bowl w/ pork. Gotta say, $21+ for it? A little bit overpriced. I've had similar vermicelli w/ pork/beef/chicken and pricing wise, it's less and better. Price is probably due to location but nothing special that stood out from the rest. Also, while in line they mentioned the wait would be 10 min but delivered it in about 5. I guess expect to wait 10+ min if they're busy, even w/ drive-thru... Place didn't seem busy inside but looks spacious. Plenty of parking if you decide to dine in. The restaurant is facing the main street so you can't miss it

It's a comfortable, clean and unique place. Customer service is excellent. The egg rolls are full of filling, the shrimps are so flavorful and the beef vermicelli came with tons of vegetables. It's so delicious!!!! :) By the way, they have a drive thru service. Thumbs up!!!!

My mom and I had Pho here and it was delicious! Super clean and organized space. Service was great and food came out at proper timing. Definitely will be coming back here!

Go Phở It This is the newest and third location for this locally-owned and operated Vietnamese noodle and sandwich spot, with the other two being in Los Altos & Palo Alto. We have dined at their PA location in the past and enjoyed the food, so when we unexpectedly passed by this new Cupertino location, we couldn't resist and had to stop and check out their new digs. The Good: *This might be the most unique Vietnamese restaurant in The Bay, as it features a drive-thru thanks in part to the former BK that used to reside here. What a great concept to offer something semi-healthy compared to most drive-thru options. *Love the décor and ambiance of the place *Covered outdoor area (not sure if it's dog-friendly, tho) *We really enjoyed that their traditional spring rolls were made with shrimp and avocado, as opposed to the traditional sliced, boiled pork--which can be a bit flavorless. *Juices were good and not overly sweet. *Vermicelli noodle bowls were peaked with flavor and delicious grilled meats. The Meh: *Service was friendly but very, very green (see below) The Ugly: *Our dinner quickly turned into a comedy of errors, as we both didn't receive the dishes we had ordered, and they kept taking them back and bringing a different dish--which was still incorrect. We did finally get our correct dishes, and I will say that they handled it properly by giving us the mistaken dishes on the house to take home and were very apologetic. TLDR: Delicious Viet eats and drinks, but just make sure you check your order...

The Bun Cha Ha Noi is fantastic. The pork belly was grilled perfectly, and it came with a huge assortment of veggies, a big bowl of sauce, and a good amount of rice paper. I loved being able to easily dunk everything into the sauce. Even the small portion was enough for 2 people. The Banh Mi Chao Bo Luc Lac was just okay. I liked that the pate was warmed up with the rest of the dish, and the beef cubes were well seasoned, but they could have been more tender. We also got the fried chicken wings in garlic fish sauce. The flavor on the outside was great, but the breading was a bit dense and the inside needed more flavor. The service was great and they checked on us several times. Despite it being in a big lot, parking still took a while to find. Thankfully, we had thankfully just beat the lunch rush and not had to wait longer than 10 minutes for a table. My friend and I shared a Northern spread (Bun Cha Ha Noi) and a Southern style Goat Curry (Banh Mi Cari De). Service was definitely on the slower side that day, but thankfully we were proactive at getting the orders in. The Bun Cha Ha Noi was delicious - pretty much a DIY spring roll - all the fun, all the mess, with none of the clean up other than licking the plates clean. The pork belly was delicious; I was surprised how much I liked it, since I'm not a fan of pork. I devoured numerous rolls, and we also had some extra vermicelli to finish off the rest of the protein. This single meal was definitely more than enough for two! The Banh Mi Cari De (goat curry) was unfortunately quite the opposite. The goat was cooked very well - tough, gamy, and difficult to eat. There were probably six pieces in total, our first was tender, our second had bone, a little harder to chew, and the last was best compared to rubber. The curry was a bit watery, which made the banh mi soggy when dipped in. This was probably an adventurous try, but not a dish I'd ever consider ordering again.
