Compare the price vs the amount of food I got, I won't come back. I came here Sunday around 6pm and no one was at the front desk of the restaurant. I had to wait a bit until someone from the kitchen came out. I got chicken tikka. Food was ready quick, but did not come with any rice or bread. This is the first time I got Indian food that doesn't come with rice and the amount of food I got is maybe half of what other restaurant provided. This place had a lot of good reviews and for good reason! The food here is delicious and I am glad I had the opportunity to try it during my trip to Toronto and the falls. All of the food was so fresh and flavorful but my favorite was still the butter chicken and garlic naan. I love butter chicken that isn't overwhelming with tomato flavor and this was amazing (second or third best I've had). The garlic naan and appetizers were also super delicious. The only negative thing I'd have to say (my personal experience) was the service. We were also the only group in there that was not of Indian origin or speaking though I don't want to say that is the main reason but it sure made us feel that way. For example we had 3 different people come over to us asking how to food was and if there was anything else we'd like. All three were told the same thing that the food was amazing but we were extremely full and ready for the check. Each time they said they would grab it shortly. The last person said she would be right back with the check and arrived 10 minutes later and I even observed her setting up a table for another party during that 10 minutes which I thought was a little rude to keep us waiting after stating you'd be right back. She noticed she had forgotten about us and said she'd go grab the check which again took about 5 more minutes. Overall the food is amazing but it took nearly just as long for us to get the check than it did order food and eat combined. read more

We got fish tikka ($18) which was really good. No clue what kinda fish but it was very mildly spiced. We also got curry chicken ($18) which is spicy. Chicken biryani ($15) was really spicy too. The garlic naan ($5) is good. I got a fruit punch mocktail ($10) which wuda been perfect had it not been for the blueberry in the middle of the toothpick which looked rotten. The other 2 blueberries were good tho. It takes a really long time to prepare & serve the food so I recommend either calling ahead to order or arriving an hr early. read more

We were greeted with an extremely accommodating and friendly staff as well as a lovely assortment of food. our food had a serious depth of flavor and the perfect level of spiciness. The view is wonderful, as it overlooks the bright lights of attractions near Niagara Falls. We came to Niagara Falls, obviously, to see the incredible falls, and while the falls were awesome, the town surrounding it was NOT--it looked like 1990s Americana exploded in Canada--Rainforest Cafes, Hard Rocks, the works. I looked up Flavors and Spice on Yelp, and my family and I braved the 10 minute walk in the rain from our hotel to go here. They have just started a buffet on the weekends, and I was thrilled with the selection of vegetarian options--they had an entire section dedicated to vegetarian fare. My husband isn't a vegetarian, and there was plenty for him, too. My son and daughter raved about the saag and naan, and of course, they both loved the chocolate ice cream. With a cool intimate setting with great flavors, what can go wrong? So my family and I decided we each order something different in case it was too spicy, we could share or trade flavors between us. Indian music in there had my hips moving the whole time, I don't know if that's just me or if others feel the same way about the music they play here. We were sat by a pool table while having two screens. One with a soccer game playing and the other one desert to lure is into eating some more. So we got a very special Punchaby desert called 'Glob jum' with a sugary foil. It tasted like a soaked donut hole. All the dishes we ordered had very different but pungent flavors that had my nose running the hole time. You could say great for the sinus! We came here to change up the flavors and they certainly delivered. The only reason why I didn't give them an extra star is because it would have been nice to know which were the spicier plates with a pepper on the descriptions. No ice was served in the pitcher of water and weren't asked. I would have loved a little iced water to cool down my throat after the tasting the Spiciness of my curry chicken. Also my alcoholic drink had barely any alcohol and again NO ice, which is weird to me considering it is summer in Canada at the time. I really loved how intimate the place felt and I learned more about the Indian culture just talking to the very attentive server who seemed to be the only one serving everyone! Maybe I would of found out if there was a problem with the ice machine at the moment. All in all, great place with great flavors and great weekend vibes with their awesome dancing music! read more

The food and ambiance was good. Not crowded, which we liked. Flavorful food- spicy but not over the top. Food was a bit over priced, though. Plus they don't take credit card, only cash or debit, which is a bit annoying given the price. Very friendly service. read more

What a disappointment! We went based on online reviews and were both surprised at how subpar this place is. We came at 5:30pm on Saturday for the dinner buffet. The staff were unprepared, the food was there but serving utensils were missing. They asked us to wait 15 minutes before starting to eat. But that wouldn't matter if the food tasted good, but everything was just 'meh.' The spices were off. The sauce of almost every dish was either bland or over spiced. Because there were sparse serving utensils, some people were grabbing things with their hands. The naan was hard and overcooked, without much flavor. The staff didn't come around often to clear plates. Then when we asked for a check, one waived us over to the greeter stand, where we stood for 5 minutes for her to come around and cash us out. Poor food, poor ambiance, poor staff organization. Go elsewhere! read more

one of the best indian restaurants that i have been to! the atmosphere was great, i was surprised there weren't more people dining. the service was quick and staff was super friendly! the food was absolutely INCREDIBLE! highly recommend stopping here on a visit to niagara falls, and it's only about a 5 minute walk from clifton hill. 11/10. read more
