Flavors & Spices Restaurant I recently had the pleasure of dining at Flavors and Spices Restaurant in Niagara Falls. The restaurant's wide layout perfectly complements the panoramic scenery, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing meal. The menu is a true celebration of flavors, offering a diverse range of dishes that cater to all tastes. Whether you are a fan of traditional Indian cuisine or looking to try something new, there is something on the menu for everyone. Special mention goes to the Manager, she went all out to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect & making us feel valued and well taken care of.

Garlic naan, chicken curry & chicken biryani

We got fish tikka ($18) which was really good. No clue what kinda fish but it was very mildly spiced. We also got curry chicken ($18) which is spicy. Chicken biryani ($15) was really spicy too. The garlic naan ($5) is good. I got a fruit punch mocktail ($10) which wuda been perfect had it not been for the blueberry in the middle of the toothpick which looked rotten. The other 2 blueberries were good tho. It takes a really long time to prepare & serve the food so I recommend either calling ahead to order or arriving an hr early.

Gorgeous view, new location: 5500 Victoria ave

Simply stuffed, more than enough AMAZING AMBIENCE, the restaurant just changed locations to a spectacularly spacious new spot: 5500 Victoria avenue! The service was speedy, free alcohol free shots upon seating Craving curry? The meal was marvellous & well priced! Plenty of party space, great for a group of 10 or 20

Flavors & Spices provided exactly what their name says. We were greeted with an extremely accommodating and friendly staff as well as a lovely assortment of food. our food had a serious depth of flavor and the perfect level of spiciness. The view is wonderful, as it overlooks the bright lights of attractions near Niagara Falls. The one downside i will say is that the basmati rice is not included with the dish and is an additional 7.99 and a side of yogurt was $4.. Overall worth a trip for your flavor pallet!

Vegetarian fare

We came to Niagara Falls, obviously, to see the incredible falls, and while the falls were awesome, the town surrounding it was NOT--it looked like 1990s Americana exploded in Canada--Rainforest Cafes, Hard Rocks, the works. I looked up Flavors and Spice on Yelp, and my family and I braved the 10 minute walk in the rain from our hotel to go here. They have just started a buffet on the weekends, and I was thrilled with the selection of vegetarian options--they had an entire section dedicated to vegetarian fare. My husband isn't a vegetarian, and there was plenty for him, too. My son and daughter raved about the saag and naan, and of course, they both loved the chocolate ice cream. The waitress was absolutely lovely, and the place itself had a fun, welcoming feel.

Butter chicken

With a cool intimate setting with great flavors, what can go wrong? So my family and I decided we each order something different in case it was too spicy, we could share or trade flavors between us. Indian music in there had my hips moving the whole time, I don't know if that's just me or if others feel the same way about the music they play here. We were sat by a pool table while having two screens. One with a soccer game playing and the other one desert to lure is into eating some more. So we got a very special Punchaby desert called 'Glob jum' with a sugary foil. It tasted like a soaked donut hole. All the dishes we ordered had very different but pungent flavors that had my nose running the hole time. You could say great for the sinus! We came here to change up the flavors and they certainly delivered. The only reason why I didn't give them an extra star is because it would have been nice to know which were the spicier plates with a pepper on the descriptions. No ice was served in the pitcher of water and weren't asked. I would have loved a little iced water to cool down my throat after the tasting the Spiciness of my curry chicken. Also my alcoholic drink had barely any alcohol and again NO ice, which is weird to me considering it is summer in Canada at the time. I really loved how intimate the place felt and I learned more about the Indian culture just talking to the very attentive server who seemed to be the only one serving everyone! Maybe I would of found out if there was a problem with the ice machine at the moment. All in all, great place with great flavors and great weekend vibes with their awesome dancing music!

butter chicken, palak paneer, & tikka masala! so good that we forgot to take a picture

This was the mistake we made to trust the reviews and went there. Super slow service and food was not worth even waiting for.

Venue 4/5 Cozy…read morerooftop spot in heart of Niagara Falls. I heard that it's also patio with roof and doors open in the summer. There are Limited parking options as its hotel paid parking mainly for the lots nearby. Additionally there isn't an elevator to get to this restaurant so it is not too accessible. Service 4/5 Menu is easy to navigate. It's a QR code that allows you to start a tab once you ordered and to view your own bill as the meal progressed. Servers are attentive and helpful, tables are cleaned up quickly to sit next group. Food 4/5 Food was delicious, my favorite being the biria tacos and the 10oz steak. It came with sauces and salt to further enhance the flavour. The consommé for the tacos were full of flavour as well.

I ordered the eggs Benedict on a croissant, and it was an absolute standout. It was the most delicious combo of a flaky, buttery croissant, perfectly poached eggs, and a creamy aioli. The crispy cassava fries were the perfect side. Then midway through our meal we received a complimentary piña colada slushy; it was smooth, sweet, and perfect for a sunny day. The Hot Mess brick-oven pizza was my favorite; it was cheesy and flavorful, and the crust had that perfect crisp. Great food, fun rooftop vibes, and a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Checked out Remingtons in the Clifton Hill area…read more We got the 3 course Price Fixe Menu and we did not regret it. It comes with the choice of 3 appetizers, but its really a small sampler plate with 3 small portions of appetizers - not full size. We ordered the Garlic bread clusters, crab cake and Caesar salad and the crab cake stood out with a crispy breading, and fresh crab meat We got the choice of the two mains and which we ordered their famous prime rib and 10 Oz new york steak. The steak was quite good and cooked to my preference, however the prime rib was just alright, not the freshest cut. It also came with coffee and tea and delicious dessert to end off, with its house wine as well. Overall, this was one of the most filling and complete 3 course meals I had and the restaurant's service stood out. Our waitress had a very positive attitude and also a singing performance during a dine in. She sang live for the customers, which made this dining experience memorable. Worth checking out and go use Groupon to find a great deal for this restaurant.

It was... fine…read more Went for dinner at 5pm on a Thursday. No issue getting a table, the place was near empty. The service was great. (I heard rumor the waitstaff sings, but we heard no singing while there) The food was good. Not great. We had martinis, wine, garlic bread, calamari, Caesar salad, prime rib, creme brulee, and chocolate tartufo. Nothing was bad, and nothing really impressed. It was tasty, but nothing I could say you must try. The cleanliness is questionable. The cirling by a llight fixture in the dining room appeared to have water damage, and the bathroom was pretty gross. Lots of small flies in the bathroom (drain flies?) seemed unsanitary. As the door to the restrooms was open, and the restrooms were sorta near the kitchen, I was happy I didn't end up getting ill. I left full, and it was pleasant enough, but I probably won't be back simply because of the cleanliness situation
