I traveled from Staten Island to Woodbridge for a car that I seen on the website. I arrive and Zach was my sales representative. My experience at this businesses was not what I would have expected. I bought a used SUV while it had some cosmetic damage (which didn't show on the website) however Zach wouldn't low down the price. Since the damage wasn't really an issue I continued with the process. I advised Zach that I already had a credit union loan approval and he advised me that I can bring the check from my credit union and it'll pay off the loan for Wells Fargo that he had set up for me, so that I can take the car home that same day. Well as per the credit union that is not true at all!!! The day after, my car wasnt working properly ,so when i called I was told by the service team that the car was never serviced, or better terms , CLEARED FOR SALE so I brought it back to the dealer only to find out there was actually parts ordered as well as tires. Mr.Zach failed to tell me and lied to me about the credit union. He asks like he has your best interest , he makes you feel comfortable and just to sneak like a snake. Anything for a sale!! Also my credit dropped significantly due to my credit being checked multiple times as they tried to get me a better "rate" The Manager is being helpful at this time. I will have to bring the car back so it can get serviced when the parts arrive even though canceling everything and reporting to BBB other agencies seems to be a better option. Don't deal with Zach save yourself the BS. Unfortunately dealers as himself will give a company business a bad reputation. I am disabled and purchased a vehicle for my daughter in New Jersey which I had to go pick up because my daughter was not being responsible as my name is on all the paperwork I drove from Maryland on a weekend because I needed someone to drive me because of my disability and we're only available on the weekend. all I received from Flawless was the Maryland plates not a bill of sale or a contract or anything I sign wanting a copy because it was the weekend office was "closed" only "sales"was open. I called on the Monday to request the paperwork be emailed or mailed to my home in Maryland. it is now 2 years now since the purchase and I have NOT received any documentation in regards to the purchase of my vehicle which to my dismay found out it was salvaged and was never told. They make sure you are distracted with conversations to not allow you to read anything they just want you to sign sign sign. I sat for so long waiting to even continue my journey back to Maryland that I was dying to leave as a disabled person. I call and I get the run around about my paperwork with promises of it getting mailed and only get excuses after the repeated requests. Upon having to go back to pick up the vehicle I had it inspected as per Maryland state law I found the seatbelts In The back not functioning causing it to fail inspection and finding out the fix was $3000. And yet they won't give me my paperwork. Decided to take to counsel and take courses in commercial law cause this story is not over I will prevail. FYI they changed names assuming they claimed bankruptcy or something but the same people work there. There is physical proof attached of Flawless Auto Mall tampering with a customer credit loan application and excessively over charging on a vehicle. Agreed ADVERTISED price was $13,995. They remembered to remove the ad immediately off of their website but neglected to remember other sites save that info. When asking why the financing on a 14k car was about $20,000, Mike (finance guy who thinks hes smooth and clever) looked me in the face and said "No, the price of the car is $14,995." Meanwhile they put on the loan application $18,095 as the asking price for the car! You need to stop ripping people off and maybe check their occupation while you are manipulating their information! ;) read more

I went through TrueCar.com to get "the best price". I received an email from Flawless Automall through Truecar for a Camaro convertible for $26,745. It was an okay price, since it had 35k miles, but worth checking out. I received a couple of calls and texts from Brianna and Chris inviting me to come in so I made an appointment Wednesday morning to see the car that afternoon at 4:00pm. I live about 60 miles away, so it's not a trivial matter to go there. When I arrived, a salesperson greeted me and got right down to business. She quoted me a price of $27,985 ($1200 more than what I was already quoted) and didn't mention the fees that they charge (per True Car, $489 "Documentary Fee" and $1,895 "Pre-Certification", both of which are simply dealer mark-ups). Okay, at least I knew this going in and could attempt to bargain those fees away and bring the price down to the price quoted. I was even ready for the old four square process the internet warns people about. Except for one little snag. They didn't have the car. It seemed to take the sales person by surprise as she was retrieving the key for me to take a test drive so I don't blame her. And in fact, I don't blame Brianna or Chris - as I received a follow up email from Chris asking about my experience. The car was out getting a new top at the dealer, which is not a trivial repair. I would have expected that their system would have flagged the car as not being available if it was at the dealer to have the top replaced. The problem seems to be that the right hand doesn't seem to know what the left hand is doing at that place. So my bottom line takeaways from this experience: 1. They will play with the price. What I didn't mention is that when I first saw the car online on March 2, it was listed at $25,995. Two days later it went up by nearly $2,000. Truecar had a third price. So watch the prices, they fluctuate a great deal. 2. Watch the fees. Most dealers charge a document fee, and they can be waived through negotiations. But what the heck is a "Pre-Certification fee"? Between the two, it's over $2,000 in markups that are only meant to add profit. 3. Be careful when they (or any dealer) employs the four-square method (paper divided into four squares, divided into "trade value", "price", "down payment", and "monthly payment"). Focus on the bottom line price, not the monthly payment. read more

Next thing you know they shove papers down my throat and made me feel like I was being forced to sign this agreement with little time to review it. Turn's our I did not get a 5% interest rate I received a 26% percent interest rate and what they did to keep it under the radar was they made the agreement over 72 MONTHS!!! I tried to cancel the agreement a day later and Santander said I'm already locked in... What scam artist. What they did should not be aloud. Now by the time I pay off this USED car (6 six years later) it's going to be in towed off to the junkyard long gone. daughter called in about a mustang she saw for sale at $19980. They told her to come in and since we were not able to go inside due to covid everything was being rushed on a piece of paper outside. Told her she would get financing thru Capital One but it came back to her a week later with Wells Fargo. And, turned out the car was sold to her at $2000 more. Also on papework trade in was $500 less than they said they were giving her. Rushed, ran her inside to sign papers. This review is not for my salesman Kash. He was professional and knowledgeable. This is a complaint on the dealership. I spent over 3 hours at the dealership deciding between 2 vehicles. Both were fairly priced. After a little back and forth I received a respectable trade offer from the manager. When I asked for an out the door pricing breakdown is when things got absurd. I saw the total price and noticed it seemed high. I know dealerships try to tack on fees to inflate profits but in 25 years of car buying this took the cake for being the most absurd. A $1000 fee for "LoJack" and a $1900 fee for "certification". When I asked about these fees I was told they're mandatory and everyone pays them. I don't understand why someone would pay for LoJack if they don't want it. Apparently they are installed by the dealership in all the cars and they charge you for it regardless of whether you want it. I can't imagine a rational person paying for that. I asked about the $1900 "certification fee" and was told it was the cost of getting the car certified which makes no sense because a non branded dealer cannot certify a pre owned vehicle of any brand. I said I'm not paying those fees and they said everybody does and they can't do anything. So they said goodbye and I left. I'm sure there are some people in situations so desperate for a vehicle that they'll pay an extra $3000 in fees to buy one but can't imagine this being par for the course. Wasted 3 hours of my life. So if you're looking for a car there just be ready to pay the Flawless Auto Mall $3000 tax on top of state tax, title, and registration. Their TrueCar listing did not mention the non-negotiable Lojack fee, documentary fee and dealer maintenance fee (tank of gas and a car wash). Comes out to an additional 3K. This used car dealership is one of the most dishonest and shady companies that I have ever purchased a car from. After having made an offer on a BMW that I had seen on cargurus.com they proceeded to increase the price by $1000. They then added charges for "window etching " which they claimed was nonnegotiable On top of that they again increased the cost by stating that an additional fee was for a BMW inspection that was another $500. I finally agreed on an out the door price based upon the fact that it was totally inspected and low mile and in mint condition. I agreed to fly from Chicago to NJ as long as it was in mint condition. After test driving I found that coolant was leaking and that the Bluetooth phone system wouldn't accept my iPhone contacts. I asked that these be corrected and that they give me some sort of promise that their repairs would correct the problems. Instead of giving me assurances they showed me the door. I have called the office numerous times to tell my story over and over to get no help. Bad Dealership, Came in for a Car listed at $19,000+ taxes & normal fees (was going to pay in full, no financing) and they wanted to charge $24,000 out the door for fees that were outrageous and unnecessary, they refused to take them off, including lo-jack $995, $299 etching (both which I know for a fact are optional) and Service fee, Inspection Fee and numerous other BS fees. They offered to only take $500 off the price off the price of the car, nothing more. This kind of place is that gives Used Car Dealers a bad Rep. They couldn't even take the time to detail or wash the car before we test drove it after having plenty of advanced notice that we were coming to see that car.
