I called in may 2025 to make an appnt for a package of 6 massages with wood therapy. I asked over the phone how long would it be and they said 45min, 6 sessions 485$ The day of the service I was informed that there was a 15% medical fee to every service( for a massage??). I paid it anyway, just signing the credit card machine screen After that I was informed that the session was 15min each. i said that was not what I was told and asked for a refund. I wad the brought to talk with a "manager". She had an attitude and told me nobody on the phone could have a told me that and basically that I was lying. Fine. misscomunication. I went in there for HCG injections I was told they do not have and was told that they are now in pill form. I was so excited until I learned it was "Phentermine". HCG and Phentermine are two completely different things. For someone who's literally been on diets throughout their whole life I know a lot about diet pills. They were trying to tell me that hCG pill is called phentermine. If you know the difference they are not even on the same category. I'm sure Google can help anyone trying to figure out the difference but I'm not going to elaborate on that I just know those are two different things and then having it labeled as hCG pills is what was shocking. Not to mention the expensive price tag on those pills are roughly $600. You can get phentermine pills for $100 - $200 tops and every month after that around $40-$100. I also asked if that price was the same for every month after that and they told me yes. This is absolutely ludicrous that they are marketing phentermine pills as HDC pills and the ridiculous price tag that they have put on it of $600. Also, I really like the staff there and thought everyone was very nice and helpful but the lady who told me that she was finishing up nursing school and did not know what Xanax was or how to spell it is also alarming. The Foot Detox machine did not work and the process took so long I did not have time for my wood therapy and had to leave. So I went to this place cause they have specials and I decided to try it out they post many videos of celebrities & etc. I went in for a $90 signature facial, the facial is 90 min and then 30 min massage in the package. It's one of the specials they had for the month. The facial lasted not even 20 min. They charged me everything up front. The facial wasn't 90 mins the massage was amazing BUT the microneedling couldn't be done cause I had to pay extra for the right serum even though I was told that it can be done without serums. What doesn't make sense is they separated the price of adding microneedling from the serum which was another $40 on top of the $60 I'd paid for the added microneedling and the $90 -AND THEY CHARGE A 15% 'FRANCHISE FEE' on top of taxes !!! That's 22% !!!!!!!!! I paid $190 for a fraction of the service. That's crazy !!!! They didn't want to give my $60 back for the microneedling that couldn't be performed. I was then told there's no refunds even though they're the ones who misinformed me and didn't clear it with the esthetician making sure she'd be able to do it. I always give businesses the benefit of the doubt but charging customer a franchise royalty fee ?? That's incredible I wonder if the franchise even know this is being done cause I'm more than sure that it's NOT SUPPOSED to be charging us that. This place just has a HUGE FACADE, inviting influencers and celebrities to have treatments done more than likely for free and definitely better attentiveness and customer service than a regular person. Yesterday I had an appointment at 10:30am and shortly after I found out I was burned. Before the procedure I removed all of my makeup with the baby wipe as I've been instructed to and previous times before. This technician was new ( I have never seen her) and burned my skin. The technician wasn't knowledgeable enough to know when the skin will burn. As I said this burn isn't a result of makeup because it was removed prior. I would like to be reimbursed for my service at least. I'd appreciate to have had someone who knew what they were doing. She even asked me if I felt the laser burn on my teeth? I said yes. At that point she should've readjusted the heat to avoid burning my skin. No one should have to be burned and go to covering in their neck while at work due to the miseducation of a who I thought was a professional. Not once was the acknowledgement of the technicians poor judgement was addressed when I spoke with the manager. The least. I walked away with burns and all I was told was I had on makeup (constantly by the manager) AFTER thoroughly removing my makeup before the procedure. By the way I was spoken to and being advised to just put aloe and come back to look at my profile was alarming enough to know that my best interest as a client was not important. If you get burned they will have no concern for you unless your ig popular etc. I was offered a prescription of Burn ointment from their in house doctor meant for 2nd to 3rd degree burns. I'm still not reimbursed for the trouble. If you get burned all the luck to you. Receive services at your own risk because it will always be your fault. I ordered a Groupon for my husband's birthday at this place, and hw called a week ahead to make a reservation, mentioning that he had a Groupon. They gave him an appointment for today. Today, after he drove all the way over there, the business told him they are not accepting Groupons. First they gave some excuse about COVID-19, which didnt make any sense, since they were willing to give him a massage if he paid out of pocket "by the minute." Later, he called back to ask why they didnt let him use his Groupon, they told him that a different masseuse was using the Groupons (even though thename of the business was on the Groupon, not a particular therapist's name), and that person had left. Groupon gave my money back, but these idiots should have had the courtesy to tell my husband by the phone that they didn't plan to honor the agreement with Groupon or honor the voucher, instead of hoping they could dupe him into paying full price "by the minute " for a massage. But of course, that might be because I come during the week (like a Tuesday or Wednesday) in the morning. The only problem is parking. There really is no parking. I found a special they had for $180 for 2 areas of choice for perm hair removal services. I called to schedule and pay $180 over the phone.The appointment was scheduld over the phone and I gave my credit card info over the phone. No receipt was emailed/texted or any other type of communication. A week before my appointment COVID19 was all over the news and states were demanding lock downs. I called Flawless Icon to reschedule my appointment. I was told the DO NOT reschedule I could come in ANY DAY and ANY TIME as a walk-in for services. Well, this was back in April2020...fast forward to Jan 2021, I called to request a refund due to COVID19 and the personal decision I made not to travel to state FLorida. First, I spoke with Noah the reception and she was very apologetic and advised me to email the owner and due to COVID19 refunding would not be a problem. Noah promised to call me back within 24 hours to follow up. I hung up and sent the email requesting the $180 refund and waited 24hours for a response. I found out about this company in the Fall of 2017 when they were aggressively promoting "veneers" Originally I was super excited because I had been looking for a reputable place to get my teeth done and they looked pretty legit and they were black owned so I was sold on that alone. I reached out to the company and I was instructed to send a few images of my teeth so they'd be able to let me know if I was a good candidate. I sent the pictures and received a response pretty fast, the guy who I was speaking with let me know that I needed to pay an $800 non refundable security deposit to secure my spot. I went ahead and paid the $800 and that's when I was hit with a curve ball. I get a call from a lady and she tell me that her associates would be doing my teeth. So the day of my procedure I get a text message with an address from the same lady. So I start to drive to the address that was sent. As I approached the given address I was a bit confused because I didn't see any offices that looked like dental or even business offices. Instead I was in a residential neighborhood in miami shores/El portal. I called her and told her that I was at the address she gave but it's a house so I think I'm at the wrong place. She then proceeds to say "did you bring cash?" Completely ignoring my concern about the address. I said "yes". So I'm extremely worried because the procedure costs $4500 and u was specifically told to bring cash because they didn't accept cards. I get out of the car and walk inside and it's literally an Airbnb. I can tell it's an Airbnb because of the setup and the lock on the door is one that has a code like most Airbnb's have. The lady (Andrea) sits me down and explains everything to me. She lets me know that they are not a licensed dental office, she lets me know that all payments must be made in cash (again) and she tells me not to be worried because I'm sure she sensed how on edge I was. I asked her were they affiliated with flawless icon in any way and she told me that Flawless Icon (Mel) has an agreement with them and every customer that they get from flawless icon they pay Mel a commission fee. So basically flawless icon just helps them scam people. All in all, I still decided to go through with the procedure. They took me to the basement of the home and there was a little Dental chair and etc. like a real dental office. The doctor was fresh off the banana boat. He spoke no English and he was Colombian. He was super nice though so I felt a little more comfortable when I met him. The procedure took about 4-5 hours to do and it was painless. Andrea let me know that I had a 30 day warranty so if they ever get cracked or damaged I can come back and get a replacement within 30 days. So shortly after the procedure (maybe a week) one of the "veneers" had fallen off and I texted the lady Andrea to let her know. She replied and told me to put super glue on it and wait until they came back which was in 2 weeks because they were working on new clients in ATL. I was so chocked that she told me to put super glue in my mouth with is soooo unsafe. It just made me wonder what did they already put in my mouth that I don't know about! So fast forward to today! November 14th 2019 Im missing two of my veneers because they fell off and I cannot get in contact with @_smilebydesign I'm not sure what's going on but it looks like they may no longer be doing dental work. I also don't see flawless icon promoting the procedure anymore after they've scammed so many people. I had a consultation with a real dentist and he told me that these are even real veneers in my mouth. He said they're just shiny plastic that a lot of scam artists try to pass off as veneers. I now have to pay 10K to get my entire mouth redone and it hasn't even been 2 whole years since I got these teeth done. Moral of the story is DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. A consultation by the owner - 4 feet away from me on a desk - how can you see what my skin needs! Where she "suggested" the most expensive facial. All I wanted was my skin cleaned. I asked to cancel the appointment and refund my account. No refunds - even if services were not rendered. Ok, made the appointment for the following day. Such an amazing med spa. They offer so many services and have their own skincare line that is phenomenal. The staff is very welcoming. I have gotten a facial there along with laser hair removal. The facial was amazing. I have sensitive skin but the products didn't irritate them at all. The owner was there and she helped me come up with a treatment plan to get the results I need. Laser hair removal was painless. I'm still shocked! I've gone for 2 sessions so far and I can see the change. Under my arms have even started to lighten up and it is so smooth. I got burnt on my 3rd laser treatment there due to a malfunctioned machine and the treatment by the owner has been beyond horrible. She gave me a bottle of her lotion and soap to treat the burns and they were as useless as can be. I have to now be under the care of a dermatologist due to the severity of the burns, plus the owner never even called to follow up...I guess because I'm not one of her celebrity clients, and trying to get a refund is a big problem.
