They have very reasonable prices but I don't think the ice cream is made in-house. They do have a big variety of sundaes, Philadelphia Water Ice, and Dole fruit whip. My fave flavor is always coffee so I had to get theirs. Coffee ice cream here was not a strong coffee flavor that was almost like a vanilla and reminded me of Breyer's. Excellent ice cream that like most others in the area, serves Bassett's ice cream. This place is busy no matter the day or time so be prepared for a bit of a wait. Their selection is almost overwhelmingly large. Tons of options for milkshakes, mix ins, and Sundaes. Huge portion sizes and reasonable prices! My all time favorite is the Butter Cake Sundae. As an addict to ice cream, I take advantage any chance I get to try new local ice cream places. Fleck's Ice Cream did not disappoint! After a long day at the beach and at a family cookout for Labor Day Weekend, my girlfriend and I decided to end the day with some refreshing ice cream. Parking gets a little tricky as there's limited spots but we managed to find one right on the side. There was a line to get in, but moved very quickly and luckily it was a beautiful night out. Inside was air conditioned and the walls were covered with Phillies memorabilia, so awesome! We ordered a regular (2 scoops) mint chocolate chip with jimmies and a kids (1 scoop) raspberry chocolate chunk. Both were very refreshing and delicious. Hit the spot for sure!! If you are ever in the area, make sure to stop by Fleck's for a refreshing scoop of ice cream! read more

Amazing! I consider myself a bit of an ice cream connoisseur (mainly because I love it & love eating at new places) & this is among the best ice cream I've tasted. I'm pretty sure you can get 1 scoop in a cup or cone, but I don't know who can order that with a whole wall full of tempting and tantalizing sundaes, milkshakes & "blizzards" to choose from. The portions are huge & flavorful. The decor is adorable & the sundae names creative. The place was very clean too. Cash only. You won't be disappointed! I love Fleck's. Easiest 5 I've given. I like everything about this place. It's in a quiet little out of the way spot, it has the quirky Phillies decor going. They have lots of flavors and they have tons of specials; sundaes, splits, milk shakes malts, all different topping and all sorts of combinations. The ice cream is good, they don't make it there so it's not as good as a place that makes it on site but the prices are rock bottom low so that makes up for it. We were down visiting family and went 5 times in 4 days. Everything we got was good, kids couldn't have been happier. Among us we got cones, gelati, root beer float, banana split and a milkshake. Hands-down best Ice cream joint for sundaes in Cape May. It's a super cute place and I believe it is family owned. Everything is baseball themed. We have never been disappointed coming here. My grandfather is very particular and showed them a picture of an ice cream sundae and said he wanted it to look exactly like that and they were very kind and humored him. Hands down, this is the best ice cream down the shore. It's a family owned, cash only business and each family member works at the store. The menu is expansive and Fleck's offers a wide array of sundaes, shakes and everything in between! My go to favorite is the brownie sundae. Fleck's makes the brownies fresh every day. Whenever I order, I watch the employee scoop fresh brownies out of a baking pan. On one visit, they were still warm from the oven! This place is truly top knotch. Fleck's gets a 4/5, simply because of the wait time. Their ice cream is absolutely delicious, and some of the best I've ever had. However, during my family getaway to cape May, we went to Fleck's about 4 times total and each time, we had to wait close to 30 minutes for our order. Yes, our order had 4-5 items in it and yes, 2 out of the 4 times we went, it was busy. I appreciate Fleck's staying open during COVID and providing us with great treats! I drove right by this place and completely missed it. A few turns later, we were inside and waiting to be helped. I went with the Tandykake and my wife had her typical cookies and cream/oreo whatever sundae. My amazing sundae had pieces of peanutbutter tandycake pieces in the sundae. That was the best part. I did like the vanilla ice cream too. It had a nice texture. They don't make their own ice cream here, but they enhance whatever ice cream they have with all of their crazy toppings. I wasn't a huge fan of the hot fudge. If that was really good, it would have made this one of my favorite sundaes ever. read more

It really sucks, when you get home, go to eat your sundae and it's awful. There was NO f*cking ice cream in it!!! We've been coming here, steady, our entire vacation, 2 weeks. Usually one of the younger girls prepares what I order, always the same, perfectly. Not tonight. It was some older brunette, who talked to some kid working behind the counter like a douche, with her daughter (I'm assuming) bouncing around behind the counter. 2 scoops. One salted caramel pretzel, the other butter brickle. Hot fudge. Crushed cherries. Whipped cream. With a lid. A 7 minute ride home, in a cup holder and straight into the freezer. When I went for it 30 minutes later, I noticed how soft the styrofoam cup felt. After a few bites of NOTHING but hot fudge and cherries I decided to put it in a bowl. THERE WAS ONE, SMALL LUMP OF ICE CREAM. Nothing but hot fudge and cherries in the bottom of the cup. Not even melted ice cream. Just one sad lump of what looked like butter brickle; since I didn't taste either, I'm assuming the salted caramel pretzel didn't make it into the cup. Literally 75% topping. WTF? Washed that mess straight down the drain. And I feel like puking, all that hot fudge. Basically I have a week left and 10000% lost my hard on for hot fudge, cherries and ice cream. Thanks. read more

We recently moved to the area over the winter. We noticed the line outside Fleck's this summer so we wanted to give it a try. The owners' son was working the counter. We told him we were first timers. He let us sample these delicious peanut butter chocolate bites that were awesome. We bought two sundaes. They are huge (about 4 scoops each). Delicious. We went back a week later and tried the waffle bowl and waffle with ice cream. Best ice cream around. Not a tourist trap. worth the wait. read more

So. The ice cream is wonderful. AND they need a better ordering system. I understand it's not the same as usual because of COVID etc however getting 8 out of 9 orders WRONG!? Has nothing to do with COVID. It has to do with poor handling of orders and bad communication between front and back of the house. Do better. Text each other the orders. SOMETHING.
