I had a little hiccup with my shoes being delivered to the store (totally not Fleet Feet's fault, it was the delivery driver's), but two employees went above & beyond to help me solve my situation. My visit to Fleet Feet was just such an amazing experience. I checked in on a busy Saturday, and then after a short wait, stepped into a machine that took three dimensional images of both feet, delivering the most precise measurements of my feet I've ever experienced. The delightful salesperson then asked me about any pains I have had, desires, the type of running I do, and so on, had me walk and run a short distance, and then had me try on several options. He let me run around outside as well. At the end I bought a pair of Brooks and he gave me a pair of nice socks. There is a repeat visitor discount, and they validate parking. It was really a remarkable customer experience. I can't say enough good things. There is just no way I would buy running shoes off the internet when an experience like this is available. read more

I originally went to the store for the first time about 2 weeks to get fitted for a pair of running shoes. I was referred by friends from my gym, they all highly recommended this store. My first time there I had a great experience and purchased a pair of shoes. Unfortunately they didn't end up being a great fit for me. I was very impressed by Tyler who helped me when I returned with the shoes. He helped me find the perfect pair for me which ended up being a GAME CHANGER! I love them! I visited eet Feet today and was blown away by the experience. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Laura... Laura or Lara (it might be a soft u, I'm not sure) was kind enough to measure my feet and allowed me try on several different shoes. I had to go in to exchange a pair of shoes I bought from them because, even though it had felt right in the store, it didn't work out in action. I was a little hesitant about this, to be honest. I don't think I've ever returned/exchanged shoes once they've been worn. But the guys in this store couldn't have been nicer, more patient or more professional. Nathaniel re-scanned my feet and helped me try on several pairs of shoes with the special insoles I brought with me until I found the best fit. I loved this place! The young lady who helped me with my shoes was super helpful and kind. The store has a technique to measure/assess feet through which they get your width, size, arch depth, etc, so they base shoe choice on pretty specific standards. My podiatrist recommended them and I was not disappointed. I ended up buying two pairs, they both felt comfortable and I wanted to have two different brands to know, via experience, which one was better for me. read more

Came in to purchase a pair of new running shoes. Was impressed with the data I was able to get with their fitting system, which you step on barefoot and it provides you with various measures on your feet. Their staff member, goose, was very helpful and recommended some brands I hadn't tried before based on what he saw in his evaluation and I decided on a pair of Mizuno, which I've never owned and has been great thus far. I took time out of my busy schedule to come in and buy a pair of Brooks. And the store is opened like every store in that block. I walk in the door and they tell me that they are doing appointments only. Why not have a GIANT sign on the window stating that?!! There was only 1 customer in the store, hmmmmmm. Fleet Feet is also located in the worst part of the city and is a royal pain to find a parking spot. My suggestion is buy your shoes from Dicks sporting goods or goto the shoe manufacturers website and buy direct from the source. Brooks, Hoka,etc all have 60-90 day returns. Do not waste your time and frustration with this place. Unfortunately with the business practices like this I don't see Fleet Feet "running" ahead of other major shoe retailers. read more

I'm a former endurance walker turned biker AND I work on my feet. I'm also...not young. Recently my legs and feet start to hurt so badly that I was having trouble functioning. Fleet Feet came to my rescue. Thanks to the wonderful Faith and her magic scanner, I learned that I had been putting stability shoes on my neutral, high-arched feet. Though my feet are fairly narrow-I also needed a wider toe box to accommodate mild bunions. In the end she set me up with my first pair of 'zero drop' shoes. They are by FAR the most comfortable shoes that I've ever owned. Thanks to Faith's expertise-my legs are back. Goose was also working. He was also very helpful! We don't buy our gym shoes from anyone else, and have been loyal Fleet Feet customers for over a decade (starting in another city). The Seaholm location is the most technologically advanced that we've seen, they're well versed in shoes for all activities and wonderful to deal with. read more

We came from out of town, walked up to the store and saw some people inside, we tried to open the door and they were closed which is fine but the employees inside saw that myself, my husband and our 3 month old and also another person were outside waiting for someone to let us know if they were open or closed and no one came to tell us anything. They made eye contact but they didn't have the common courtesy to come let us know that they were closed early instead of normal business hours. read more

HORRIBLE STAFFER- went in with my 3 year old and one of the employees had a dog who ran and aggressively jumped on and knocked over my son. I'm all for dog friendly places- I have two LARGE breed dogs myself, but as we were walking in she restrained the dog by his collar, GREAT. But before the door had even closed behind me she released him without giving me time to get next to my son, without warning me to pick him up- NOTHING- and he went straight for my son. I saw her holding him and expected her to KEEP him near her or expected the dog to be well mannered, trained- ANYTHING. When I picked my son up off the floor as he's crying, she had the nerve to say "yea he's only 8 months old" UM EXCUSE ME??!!, my reply "my son is only 3 and weighs less than your black lab, perhaps you could put your dog in a back room or on a leash if it hasn't learned to not knock small children over". She gave me a huff, leashed the dog and LEFT THE STORE leaving the other employee SOLO. another couple came in, but left since no one could help them, another woman then came in with an INFANT in a stroller looking for shoes. Imagine is she had come in first and the dog had jumped up on the stroller and tipped it and the INFANT OVER???? When I walk in to buy 130-150$ shoes I DO NOT WANT MY CHILD ASSAULTED BY YOUR ILL MANNERED UNRESTRAINED UNTRAINED DOG. BE A RESPONSIBLE DOG PARENT. read more

Nathan gave me amazing advice about "runners loop" the best way to tie my running shoes. And was so kind and funny.

I hate to give a bad review always, but Fleet Feet earned it. I purchased some expensive Adidas running shoes from the seemingly super helpful and earnest sales guy with long hair, and even was told to "come back in if I have any issues with the shoes." I didn't anticipate having any issues, honestly I loved the pair I was buying. Less than 150 miles in and 3 months later the toe of the Adidas sneakers starts peeling off. To my surprise the shoe is literally coming apart which is NOT what I paid for or expected from a shoe that was sold on me so hard. Naturally I took the pair back in to the seemingly nice sales guy with long hair expecting him to care BUT HE COULDNT HAVE CARED LESS. Honestly the worst customer experience of my life. They are all talk. If you have issues with your shoes they won't fix them even if they claim to be and pretend to be all about their customers. Wont shop here again. Would rather go somewhere that stands up to their word and what they claim to stand for. read more

To start the customer service was extraordinary. Warm Texas hospitality at its best. Most importantly, the staff and manager know shoes. I have been a runner for 30 years and have always purchased shoes at stores to garner advice and knowledge. This is the best experience I've ever had. Ari, the manager, spent quality time gathering data from me about past injuries, weak spots, and current issues. I wore my current running shoes in and he took time to inspect the wear on the tread. After his assessment, he walked me through 5 different pairs and even inserted my medical orthotics in each pair for me! I fell in love with 2 pairs - my old, faithful Brooks in their 16th iteration - and another Brooks heritage shoe that I will go back for next paycheck! I went to this special store because they focus only on shoes - and don't sell apparel. Because of this, my assumption/expectation was that they would know their shoe stuff. They did. And exceeded my expectations. If you need shoes as a walker or a new or veteran runner - or just need high-grade socks and water gear, GO HERE. I always say I could run in my pajamas, a solid bra, and excellent shoes. Shoes are critical. And these guys are the geniuses of shoes. read more
