I've been coming for years and buys a pair every year. I love the new balance 1080v14, its gelling and gives you a bounce when you run. I like that because my feet dont hurt after runs. Service was 10/10. I stopped by to receive the complimentary foot analysis. They offer a wide variety in-store and online. The selection from my analysis was customizable as far as insoles go. They offer a wide selection of inserts from a variety of brands. I ordered a few pairs online due to the colorways that I was interested in not being in stock in my size. This is now most definitely my go-to stop for sneakers. The experience alone made the value of the shoes worth it! read more

My husband and I have a packing system. I pack all of us in packing cubes and then his job is to put it in all the suitcase. When he was packing the cubes I told him about 85 times to remember my running shoes that was next to them. And of course my running shoes remained in Chicago. Since I had hoped to get in a bunch of workouts during my week in Dallas I went down the street from my in-laws house to Run On!, which is now Fleet Feet. Fleet Feet is my store of choice when I buy new running shoes so all good. I expected to get another pair of Brooks, but the lovely sales associate convinced me the on clouds were another great option. He even sold me some orthotics that have been great so I may need to get another pair for my brooks shoes at home. I've done 2 HIIT workouts in my new on clouds and they truly feel like I'm running on clouds. They may even be my primary running/workout shoes when I get back to Chicago and my trusty brooks will become my home treadmill shoes. read more

I have not jogged outdoors in years. But ever since I moved near a bike path, my desire to jog again was renewed. I decided to do some research and I ended up going to Fleet Feet yesterday. I sought out Amy, who works there, because she was reputed in some yelp reviews as someone who is highly knowledgeable in running shoes. I told her about the way I land on my feet, that I've knee aches from 10 years of hardcore nursing, my slightly low arches, and my left heel bone spur. Amy immediately offered some highly satisfactory solutions and I left the store with a pair of running shoes and some other running items. That same night, I had my first outdoor jog of 1.5 miles today I jogged 2.5 miles without any aches. I am so satisfied with my decision to visit Fleet Feet and I will do so again! Horrible. I was rushed through and told there were only 2 styles that would fit me. I returned the shoes and went to New Balance up the street. The salesman had a great selection and brought out several pairs and spent the time to find out my goals and fit me for the right shoe. Fleet Feet, do better. I love this place. I first became a customer of Run On! at the McKinney location last year some time, and I was very impressed with their professionalism and product selection. The location here at the prestigious Preston Forest area is no different - great people, great selection and great products. My quest for this trip was to get some new cross trainers because my current ones were causing me some issues. I spoke to one of the staff, who listened to my recent "shoe history" and selected a couple of models based on that and my measurements. The first pair didn't work out so well, but the second (Brooks Dyan 7 in a 10 2E) were great. He also looked at my existing shoes and noticed that the insoles were completely shot, probably a contributor to my issues. Since I couldn't afford to spring for two pairs of the new ones (at $100 each), so I compromised with one new pair of shoes and one new pair of insoles for the old shoes. Long story short, after a week and a half with the new goods, my feet are doing great. If you have any foot problems at all, stop going to the outlet stores where the salespeople know more about the cash register than they do about shoes, and go to a place staffed with professionals. Your feet will thank you, for sure. read more

I use to be the biggest advocate for Run On!. Started shopping there exclusively for running shoes since 2008 and participated in many of their training programs. However, everything about what made Run On great are no longer apart of their reality. The service, nonexistent. The shoe fitting, untrained. They are always running sales...I very much enjoy coming here to get some cute Nike tops and browse the running shoes. The sales people are fun, knowledgable and most of them are runners themselves. Everyone was very friendly and really supportive. They laughed WITH ME but not at me as I asked very basic questions and explained that I wasn't buying $140 running shoes just to match my shirt and instead was dead set on spending about $30 (somewhere else). I thought I would feel uncomfortable because I am not a runner and I don't work out yet I got talked into doing a 5k and I needed some stuff. Visited this RunOn at the advice of a podiatrist, looking for insoles and any other product to help with a bad case of plantar fasciitis. I was fortunate to meet Chris, who was incredibly helpful in recommending insoles, compression socks and even some nice orthodic sandals to kick around the house in. She was incredibly friendly and her sense of humor made my involuntary visit as pleasurable as it could be. I can recommend without hesitation visiting this store and meeting with her in particular. CHRIS IS AMAZING! Seriously, one of the nicest people I have ever encountered in retail and customer service. SO bubbly and cute! I almost went elsewhere for some new workout shoes and I am so thankful I didn't! I have been having serious issues with my feet, shoes, and workouts because of my feet hurting and my shoes being all wrong. Luckily, Chris was working and spent a lengthy amount of time watching my walk, sizing my feet, listening to my symptoms and what I was seeking in a shoe and I ended up leaving with two amazing pairs of shoes and some soles to put in them. Chris helped me with everything I needed and she was super personable and made me feel so welcome. She is probably the most knowledgeable person that has ever helped me with this sort of thing, and the best part is...she WANTS to help you.
