The next morning I was at the store and it had to be one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had. I arrived before they opened and while I was waiting I got an email stating my order was ready. I went in and went to the specific counter and they quickly processed some information I needed to fill out and I was done. I was in and out in 15 mins. The only reason it even took that long was I was looking at a few things. They have a great selection of sporting goods. Camping gear, clothing, firearms, even knives are plentiful. All the associates were very friendly and helpful. Store is super clean and well organized. Scheels blows sporting good stores like Bass Pro/Cabelas out of the water. Highly recommend this store.

The store was not too crowded so we were able to leisurely browse and really take in everything in the store. The selection is outstanding. if they don't have something related to camping or outdoor life, it does not exist. This trip the wife was looking for some shoes while the kid and I looked at everything else. She enjoyed checking out the tents and sleeping bags. She rode on one of the bikes. It was like a play day. I liked that there were employees to help and answer questions. Noah in the bike section was great. Employees were very friendly. The quality of the products they sell is excellent. Prices are high but you get value and what you buy is going to last a while. St Bernard has locations throughout the D/FW but their outlet is the true gem! Located out near Love Field in the warehouse sprawl, the Outlet is a bit out of the way for most. Their massive warehouse shop has a huge selection of clearance and last-season apparel, shoes, and outdoor gear for both cold and warm weather. Best known for ski and snowboard apparel, they also have a great selection of hiking gear, swim suits, shoes, luggage, sweaters, and casual apparel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Bear has helped several times and he's very knowledgeable. My only negative perception is that some of their clearance ski apparel tends to be priced very high for an outlet. But like any outlet, it's all about the hunt for a bargain. St Bernard still is a high-end retailer so the brands they carry are top line. But wherever you may be driving from, it's worth the hike. Dallas is definitely not an outdoor mecca, especially for winter sports so it's nice to know for those of us who travel frequently, there's a place to find great gear.

There was a decent selection of shoes and I found the brand and size I wanted. On the downside, there were zero people working the shoe section so everything was self-service. I had some questions I wanted to ask but instead of a person they had a chart that described the shoes. It was not optimal but I guess better than nothing. Check out was fast and efficient. Oh, and the shoes I wanted were on sale so I saved $15. Prices seemed reasonable.
