I also felt like the price for the shoes was very reasonable so I didn't find it necessary to order online or price shop around. Always such great service. As soon as we walked in, we were helped out by the employee. We were just looking around, but I realized I wanted to get some insoles for my running shoes. They had me in their system before and were able to get the same Inserts that I had purchased before. In case you're wondering, you need new insoles after the second shoe switch out. So it was time for me to get some new insoles. Be sure to follow them on Instagram as they are always having some fun run and raffles. I also like to volunteer my time for their runs and they usually have a end of the year party for the volunteers which is great. But my favorite part of their group runs is the coffee runs Saturday mornings during the winter time. Can't wait for the next one! read more

I purchased a shoe online fleet feet.com, but the altra's rub a hole in my foot, so I made an in person appointment at fleet feet, and the little girl that helped me Said they no longer carry the shoes in store and can't do anything about it, and she had no suggestions except wanting to sell me a new shoe- and reminded me I can return the shoes within 30 days of purchase to the online store. About 2 months ago I went to Fleet Feet where a store employee measured my feet and did a feet scan showing where the pressure points are as I stand on my feet. Seemed very high tech, narrowing in on 3 different shoes best for my feet for a walking shoe. I chose the Hoka Clifton with a thick sole which felt the most comfortable. Initially. I couldn't wait to wear them for my morning walks as I thought they would be so comfortable, yet after about a week of wearing them I could feel a small blister on bottom of my right foot. I kept wearing them another several days as I thought they'd be the best shoe to protect my feet. Then as the blister got worse, I decided that it could be because of the shoes so I returned to the store to report that the shoes seem to be the cause of my blister. The manager assigned another shoe fitter to my problem who found that based on the foot scan, the right foot with the blister indeed is striking the bottom of my foot quite hard. Instead of offering me another shoe which would be a better fit, she sold me a $60 shoe insert that would soften my foot striking the ground and take the pressure off the blister, but after wearing the shoes with the new $60 insert for another several days, my blister felt worse! They acknowledged the way the shoes were designed was why my foot struck the ground harder due to the elevated heel. So now I have spent more money and can't wear the shoes. Seems They should have caught this potential problem during the initial foot scan but they ignored that fact and now I am stuck with a very expensive shoe that gives me a blister. I am very disappointed with the professionalism as I paid top dollar to avoid this problem! read more

Had a great experience shopping here with my wife for a new pair of running shoes for the upcoming year of running. We were instantly greeted and was asked if we would like to be set up with an employee to get our feet evaluated and properly fitted to find the best shoe possible. We were paired up with Jose and he was a wonderful employee who was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. He walked us through our evaluation and showed us very specified measurements and dynamics of our feet. It was pretty cool to see the 3D map of our feet. Following this he brought out three pairs of shoes to try on that were informed by the evaluation and goals we each had for running. I was very happy with the shoe choices and so was my wife. We each ended up buying a pair and inserts. I definitely need the additional support of the inserts due to old foot injuries I have had and Jose was able to find the perfect insert for me. 10/10 Would recommend this place for the quality of service and great selections of shoes and running accessories/gear. read more

The appointment process is super simple and great! You can book an appointment online - even the day of.. which is what I did! They ask you the reason behind your appointment, the brands you might want to look into, then they use this cool technology to scan your feet for its length, arch, instep height, width etc. They bring out a variety of shoes for you to try on and get a feel for. Really appreciated him calling to inform me they didn't carry the Nike Pegasus FlyEase I marked down of interest. I just informed him they were not a necessity! I'm just looking for good pair of running shoes. Mine have been used so much they have holes. Showed up and this is a runners heaven! I was really surprised! There is so much more that goes into running to help your feet! I was greeted by Eric and he was happy to help me. Stepped onto a machine that looked over my foot and walked on a pad that gave more on my stepping. Come to find out I wearing the wrong size. Too small. Eric was really great and I learned a lot! Much more goes into it and he's a runner too so he knows. after all the tests on my feet he brought out a few pairs of shoes to try. He also explains how the fit supports them. Very informative. The first pair won me over! Aisics. OMG! From the moment I put them on I couldn't get over how much different they felt in comparison to the Nikes I have on! AMAZING. He let me walk in around in them to feel them out and I also tried a few others, but I was sold from the first pair. Socks makes a difference too! Not kidding. Full disclosure, I have weird feet. Super wide, very high instep. I've been buying my shoes online for years because that's the only place I could find shoes that would work for me. I have been having some foot pain issues, and so my wife took me to Fleet Feet, where she has had great luck before. They do an amazing computer-assisted measurement of your foot, and Mykel was extraordinarily patient and helpful and helping me find a couple of pairs of shoes that feel great for me. My mom doesn't speak English very well, and was so accommodating and did not hesitate when we needed new sizes or asked for different colors. Mikel was a very knowledgeable and friendly professional in my dealings with Sierra Running Co. aka Fleet Feet. No upselling, just factfinding and trying to see what would make my feet happiest. Always recommend these guys and if you have not had your gait and footing examined; this is the place and you will be happy you did so. In regards to the shoes I purchased; I run in the HOT afternoons out in the fields so comfort, support and longevity are important to me. Usually train with a Brooks Ghost but went with the Ghost Max and was amazed! Just retired my Ghost 15 and the difference was absolute. Did 5 miles and it was one of the most pleasurable runs for my feet and body with the performance of the shoe. Also spoiled myself with some Asics Gel Nimbus which usually race in. Have not ran in them yet but boy they are comfy and just an awesome shoe. Out side the business there is a sign that states you need to check in at the register so that someone will get assigned to you. I walked up to the counter and was not greeted, but questioned on what I wanted to get. This is my first time in the store, how was I supposed to know anything about any products in the store. The little guy behind the counter made me feel really uncomfortable, and if this situation would have happened to me 25years ago, that dude would have went home with black eye. I gave him a very firm look and an awkward "looking for shoes"I think he understood that his customers service sucked. Even the girl that helped was condescending when she help my wife and I. I have been suffering from plantar fascitis for a while now and finally decided to do something about it (partly at my wife's not so subtle urging lol). Came in for an Outfitting to figure out what I'm supposed to be wearing and was pleasantly helped by Hannah. She went through the 3D scanning and pressure plate readings and explained everything in great detail to help me understand how I move and what shoes and supports would be helpful. She then brought out 3 shoe options for me to try on, and what's really great is they allow you to run around on the sidewalk just outside to really test the shoes. I found some really comfy New Balance runners and am really looking forward to wearing these babies out! The prices are a little high, but it's definitely worth paying for good health. That's a lot of miles. These are normal price points for good running shoes. Fleet Feet also has a great selection of energy gels/gummies, sports drinks, socks, and an impressive selection of apparel from some of the top running brands (Brooks! Nike! New Balance!) and brands that are more niche brands (Rabbit! Ciele), which is amazing and very bad for my wallet, haha! They have a great sock selection if you're into that (I am) and I spend too much time and money at the sock wall as well. Service was awesome! walking in, Mikel, a sales person legit gave me an aftermarket item for my car that he had ordered a duplicate of. This was before he knew what I was even there to purchase. In addition to being a super nice guy he was an incredibly knowledgeable athlete. 2. The foot scan thing was free, gave an actual 3D map of my foot, showed my exact size and the difference between my feet. Something I had always wondered and thought of with shoes. Not only did it give size but also exact height width etc of specific parts of my foot that I now know and can help me in every shoe purchase I ever make going forward. 3. Karhu Ikoni Ortix - these shoes were made with data from 100k foot scans from fleet feet. The Shoes were pricey $130+ but honestly I did 2:30 better than my last 5K time. Which is insane. I'm no cross country athlete or hard core runner. But it was surprising. During my visit to Fleet Feet, I encountered competent customer service. My customer service associate observed my gait without any shoes on in order to get a better idea of which shoe would suit me best. Using Volumental Scanning Technology the associate performed a 3D scan of my foot to get an even better idea of what type of athletic shoe would best serve my needs. Then my associate showed me the athletic shoes on the wall that would best serve my needs based on the prior examination of my gait and the scan of my bare feet. I have a preference for Mizuno athletic shoes, and I ended up selecting the Wave Rider 24 model. The price was a bit exorbitant at $130, but considering the customer service that I received, I was satisfied with my overall experience. Fleet Feet is not an ordinary athletic shoe store. He asked where we had pain and after a detailed discussion, made several recommendations. His product knowledge is outstanding. He was able to answer our questions and make suggestions. He was extremely patient as both my wife and I tried several different models of shoes in various sizes. The store is great; the quality of products is amazing but most important is the staff.
