I think it's really nice the employees don't make commission, so there isn't pressure to buy shoes on the spot. I tried on seven pairs of shoes and didn't find any of them to be very comfortable. For a store that emphasizes trying on a variety of running shoes, their return policy is not conducive to that. They allow returns within 30 days, but the shoes must be unworn. You don't know if a running shoe feels good until you actually run in them.

The tip was creased (leather), the leather was scuffed and the some had some typical signs of wear. I approached a man who seemed to be the manager (tall heavy set Asian guy). I asked if I could get them at a discount since they had clearly been worn out and it was the last pair in my size. First he tried to tell me they were offering a 30% discount on all items, to which I replied that this item was not new, so I'd take it for an additional discount. He rudely replied that he could just order me a new pair, saying he would just send them back for being defective. Rude, dishonest, and not very smart.
