I love this store. The ambiance is immaculate and displays are always curated well. Every shoe is retail price and sometimes is even on sale. I haven't found many places in Houston like this. Another thing I like about this place is that every item has the price and available sizes on it, so it's perfect for if you don't feel like talking to people or you're shy or you feel like you're asking too many questions :) But the staff is always incredibly helpful and nice. Premium Goods is the ONLY black female owned sneaker boutique in the United States. As such, I wanted to stop by and support during my visit to Houston. The shop is located in what is known as Rice Village. There are a number of shops and eateries in the village. The parking is metered and you utilize the park mobile app to pay. The rates are low. However, I must admit I don't like to pay to patronize a business. We showed up a few minutes prior to the business opening. There was a line. However, this line was for the customers who claimed tickets to purchase the Retro Jordan's that dropped on 03/12 /2023. Since we were not interested in the Jordan's we were allowed entry into the store to shop. The boutique is sectioned off by gender. The ladies shoes and clothing are to the left and the male items are on the right side. They offer a wide selection of premium footwear brands such as Nike, Adidas, New Balance, and converse. They also carry limited edition and exclusive sneakers and apparel. I scored a pair of converse run star CX motion shoes that I have had my eye on for some tine. They were only $50!! This was a steal so I had to take them home with me. The young guy who assisted me was nice and answered all questions that I had. Stopped in to visit this black woman-owned sneaker boutique the only one in the United States, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The boutique was located in a vibrant part of town, and upon entering, I was immediately struck by the unique selection of sneakers on display. The boutique carried a wide range of sneakers, from classic retro styles to limited edition releases. It appears that the owner could have an eye for fashion and a deep passion for sneakers, which was evident in the way she curated her collection. Each pair of sneakers was carefully selected, and the boutique carried styles for both men and women. The customer service was excellent as well. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. On display here she shows her collection she designed in collaboration with Nike which is a pretty humble flex . I'm currently getting back into fitness and needed some new kicks. Premium goods was recommended by a colleague of mine and so I did some research online and thought wow, their prices are very fair. Made a spontaneous trip out to Rice Village and I was thoroughly surprised.. Location: I haven't been to Rice village in a very long time but parking is charged, before it was only the garage but even in front of the establishment there are meters on each parking spots. We can't spend more money and supporting locals when we have to pay for parking, of course I'm sure this is no fault of the establishment. Also restrooms....No convenient restrooms...I don't think I need to elaborate on that. The store: Oh my, I was pleasantly surprised, loved the ambiance and loved the vibes. The decor is very different of a typical shoe store but I loved the minimal and inviting color theme. Plenty of sitting areas for your significant other and kids. Of course mine is very involved with the shopping but that's always a plus. There were a good variety of shoes, clothes and accessories, very clean and organized. Staff: Evan assisted my fiancé and I very pleasant, friendly and patient with us! Extremely helpful and great attitude. It was pretty busy right after we came in but Evan, Lewis and Jeremy held it down! Kudos to you guys!. I left with 2 pair of shoes and a bag! So I've been coming here for YEARS, back when saying pbthenikesbog meant something. This store has always been a staple in the houston sneaker/apparel community. They do great things and the best part, their raffles are legit. Regular degular people that love sneakers have a fair chance to cop. Granted, you won't win them all and it's by no means "easy." Hey at least locals still have a fair shot though and it doesn't hurt to just enter. Over the years I've won a few, I can't say the same about other sneaker shops or even SNKRS app. The employees are all super knowledgeable and nice.
