The first time I visited I went to get recommendations on a good pair of running shoes that could correct some issues I was having while using an old pair of shoes. My feet were scanned and several shoes were pulled as recommendations that could be a good match for my feet and activity level. I tried to order new walking shoes in a couple places without success owing to supply chain issues. I decided to try "Fleet" since it was on my way home. That was a happy choice. The salesperson took me through a complex analysis of my feet using a wonderful bit of technology. Then displayed 3-d imaging of the dimensions of my feet. This led to recommendation of some shoes and orthotics. The first pair brough out were "Hoka", the very shoe I had been trying to buy elsewhere. With the orthotic and a compression sock, the fit was perfect!! The shoes are pricey but remember, you spend nearly half your life in shoes so always get the best quality. I needed new running shoes so badly and I came in here as a random stop to my day, I'm so glad I stayed!! They have a ton of shoes and things to make every shoppers list. Fleet feet has plenty of technicians that are available to help you, and they're able to make every interaction personal. I had never been inside of a fleet feet before and what I realized what is it they truly use the technology to find the best fit for you. They scan your feet, and then have you walk on a pad to see where your weight transfers while you walk or run. Based on the results of that, and what type or size of shoe they think that you need, they pull out some options for you to try. This is certainly not your budget running store, but if you want something that's going to fit perfectly and be the best for your feet, you get what you pay for. --I will say that if you want a very specific shoe in a very specific size rather than something that's going to fit you're the best, this is probably not the top place for you to go. Fleet feet finds the best shoe for you, And since it fits so well, you don't have to break it in!! The customer service here is top notch, they have plenty of workers working so within a few minutes of browsing, they were more than ready to help me with fitting and selection. Shout out to Jen for helping both my gf and I at the same time! They scan your feet, watch how you walk barefoot, let you try on 4 different shoes, and even let you run with them outside. Didn't bring socks? All good they got you. I ended up buying the socks too since they're half off with your shoe purchase. Found a better deal elsewhere? bought two pair of shoes the service was real good fitting and getting us out the door. Spent about 5hundred dollars. Bought about the first of October. Bought them for playing pickle ball in Yuma Arizona. After getting down there and using the Hoka pair I noticed a slight tear on side of shoe after only a half dozen times wearing them so quit wearing them and went to the second pair I bought . Upon returning to Spokane I took them back to valley store when I told them the problem I was quickly informed that they were out of warranty and that sorry about you're problem but weren't going to due anything about it.. It's a unique store because of the technology used to analyze your foot. It's fascinating learning more about how you run/walk. I had an amazing experience at fleet feet. I was a bit shy/nervous going in because I knew I needed better running shoes but wasn't totally knowledgeable about what to look for. I've heard such great things about Fleet feet but I have been there twice in the past month and both times the customer service was lousy. Today I was there with my daughter to buy running shoes. There were 3 women standing behind the counter talking and a few people being helped on the floor. We walked around for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to say hello and acknowledge our presence. Never happened so we just decided to leave. I would be super pissed if I owned this business and saw this is how the customers are treated. Wont go back ! read more

Great shoe fitting. The experience was fun, but the upsale is CRAZY. There was always something more. They push so hard for orthotics, then a sleep stretching contraption, then came this roller thing and finally compression socks! I wonder how many people go for shoes and get upsold another couple hundred in crap. It was fun. JUST BE CAREFUL. We felt that is was more about upsell than shoes. This is hands down my favorite running store in town. Their staff are friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy. They do a great fitting when you come in for shoes. The even cooler part about this store is that it's so much more than just an appearal store!! They offer training groups, free clinics and also have a Cross Fit gym right next door. This summer I signed up for their women's only triathlon training group and I credit the coaches I had for getting me through the triathlon. I could have done it without the personalized training but my time would have been slower and I would have been a hurting unit. The owners are invested in their community and very accessible. Made an appointment for a consult online, the online app states that the appointment will take 30 minutes. I arrived 3 minutes early and was greeted pleasantly and started the appointment. I have severe foot issues, so this consult and purchase of walking shoes is very important. After the scan, 3 different brands were recommended and I started trying them on and walking around. This took ONE HOUR, because every person that walked in was greeted and helped by the person that was helping me. I felt a bit rushed to make a decision, this is not ideal since I have very specific requirements for shoes, mush less the financial commitment of over $130 depending on what shoe I choose. As soon as I started looking online to compare pricing (just sitting there waiting for her to help another person) the sales person asked me if I had made a decision and that they would match online prices. She was very cordial and thanked me for my patience. I did end up buying a pair of shoes, but the attention to the appointment was affected by the numerous interruptions. read more

I have the usual knee/hip/foot joint ankle pains associated with passing age 40, and needed a quality pair of shoes for walking, chasing the kids, and workouts. Steve at Fleet Feet Spokane took an hour and a half with me to find just the right pair, plus inserts. First, there was the computerized foot scan, and then gait assessment, and interview about how I walk, exercise, use my feet... and then we tried shoes, inserts, side-by-side comparisons; the works. I hopped, lunged, did burpees; I heard another salesperson tell a jogger to go take a turn around the block to try their shoes out at speed. It was definitely the most intensive shoe shopping assistance I've ever received, and I'll be back. Best $200 I've spent on my health this year.
