The location is good, but it doesn't feel like the prices are "outlet" or match the bargain vibe of the store. Lots of staff responses like "Um...pretty sure we don't carry that product. Or if we do, I just haven't seen it yet." "We might have those. Maybe check in that part of the store." (waves to corner) Then there was, "Yeah, you can totally return this by mail. Just send it back with the packaging." (Sent it back, followed up by phone, was told they refuse returns by mail, having the mail carrier 'return to sender' instead. But the pkg never came to me. Hhmmmm... No refund, no item returned to me. Ghosts have it, I guess?) It's not the staff's fault they aren't trained very well; that's a HQ decision. It's not the biggest Nike Outlet and I can't say I saw any deals that were so great I couldn't pass them up. They had some of the shoes I typically run in but the price wasn't better than I could find elsewhere, so I wasn't compelled to buy them. Someone did welcome me soon after I opened the door and entered, which I know is an expectation... but no one paid attention to me at any other point in my time there. Stopped in to this store today with our college-aged son who is attending school in Spokane, and we couldn't be more pleased with the experience we received. First of all, the staff did a great job of enforcing Covid protocols and letting people into the store at a gradual rate. They were super friendly, and made the waiting in line much more pleasant. Second, we were able to bring our dog into the store, which was an unexpected bonus. Finally, and most importantly, we were fortunate enough to overhear one of the managers quietly speaking into her earpiece to other staff members, and she was complementing them on the great performance and customer service. To my wife who worked in retail for over a decade it was really encouraging to hear this manager speak to her staff in an affirming and respectful way. And besides all of this, they had some amazing deals on great Nike gear! read more

So I purchased a expensive pair of Nike adapts for 400 bucks online from Nike as I could not locate them in the stores around here. Approximately a week later I get a coupon for 30% friends and family sale for a couple days only in the store. I go in the store to buy some stuff at a great discount and then when I'm there I talk to a store employee about how all the discounts work and he said even if something is on sale you will get that plus the 30%. Then occurred to me I just paid 400 bucks for shoes a week earlier that I bought pretty much as a collectors item with no intention of wearing full price. I asked the store employee could I run home return them and then buy them again once they are in stock with the 30% off discount he said yah , in fact"great idea". I gave him the pair of shoes that I was already going to buy while there to hold because my coupon was only good for one time. Then I preceded drive 9 miles home!!!! Then I preceded to drive 9 miles back down to the Nike store. I went in with my brand new shoes and online receipt. I explained what I wanted to do to 2 different women at the register and they both said that makes sense and started to process the transaction. ( return brand new pair never worn new in box with receipt, then buy them again with the other pair of shoes in addition under one transaction but now everything's 30% as advertised in the coupon and by all 3 store employees) There girl at the register asked another girl how she needed to proceed with the transaction and once this girl got involved my experience with Nike went to hell in a hand basket. She said since they don't carry those in the store I can't rebuy them in the store and they would get shipped back and I couldn't buy them with the coupon even though I had them on the counter and brought them to them. I said that is completely ridiculous and contradictory to what now 3 of your other store employees have told me in addition to the fact that I drove all the way home, back and home again, that's 27 miles!!!!!!!! ....based on what the first store employee when specifically asked the question is this possible and he said yes, JUST DO IT, HMMMM, THATS FUNNY SOUNDS LIKE CANT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!! I asked to speak with the store manager and she, the girl now upfront at the register is the gsm and I said fine if you guys's word is no good and you are not going to do what you said then I won't buy the new pair of shoes and I will return these 400 dollar shoes and I will just be done with Nike all together. Instead of righting the ship like any diplomatic store manager is trained to do she did nothing and instead only tried to process my return. You are in the business of making sales! It gets worse here because she says to me since I paid with PayPal online I can only return it online otherwise she can only offer me store credit. Are you kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Don't offer paypal as a form of payment anywhere on your online site if it is only going to potentially inconvenience your customers. I grab my box and said fine I will return them online, she says rudely have a nice day as I have my back to her and walk out the door. This is absolutely pathetic customer service, the customer is always right and you made 0 attempt to fix it. I used to manage a shoe store in the 90's and you as a store manager are the first line of defense to be a problem solver at the store level before it gets to this. On my 9 mile drive home I call Nike to explain all my inconveniences and the fact that if I would have been given a different answer of I can't do that upfront I would have not driven all over town, been satisfied with my 400 purchase , bought the other shoes that I was planning to and been on my way. They at nike by phone tell me I can't speak with a supervisor after asking specifically the minute I call for one and that they will offer no modification of price or solution and basically all but said were big mighty nike we don't care or need your business. Will I am done with you, so thats minus this 400 purchase and minus the 60 dollar shoes I was also buying in your shoe store today, my online purchase will be getting returned plus anything else for a long time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Don't forget about all the clients that made you popular, every single one. Your word used to mean something in business clearly not at Nike. Here at Nike the customer is wrong. read more

So pumped when Nike opened a factory store here, huge sneaker head and just an overall fan of Nike. I was very surprised with their inventory for being located in Spokane. They have some pretty dope shoes once in a while and good selections otherwise. I have not seen many people wearing cool sneakers in Spokane so I just expected the store to have nothing that cool. Every time I go in there the staff are always very friendly and chatty. There is always someone around to ask for help if they have not already come up to you to ask if you need help with anything. They have great markdowns and sales once in a while even on discounted price. read more
