I don't enjoy shoe shopping and try to go seldom as possible. This store is near my home and was an easy stop after my shoes blew out. They have a good selection of the major brands and it seems To be well organized. If you need wide sized shoes, those are pretty well marked. Pricing also seems to be on the lower end of the spectrum compared to other shoe and sports stores. I found what I needed and a spare pair so I don't have to this again for a while. Tried calling ahead as a shoe was showing up as in stock based on the filters I used, but the size wasn't there same as in the filter. When I tried calling, all I got was an automated message with hours, return policy, and online options. No way to talk to a human. If they can't even be bothered to answer a phone, I shudder to think of how their customer service actually is. read more

I only go into this store if I absolutely have to but have ordered online from DSW and it's always a disaster. I've had orders "lost" in transit that require reordering from their customer service team and their shipping times are abysmal. Don't ever order online thinking you'll get your purchase in a timely manner. Save yourself the hassle and shop for shoes elsewhere! read more

I've been a long time decades customer of DSW. I bought three pairs of casual shoes the other day and I commend the great customer service. The store was neat, clean, easy to browse. The only draw back, is lack of dress shoes but that's most probably due to the obstacles in a pipeline and everything else companies have to endure. read more

Went there about 6 months ago and bought a pair of reeboks. There was only one shoe in the box due to the aft issues. I tried the one on and it fit perfectly. I asked the clerk if they could get the other shoe which she did and brought the box back. I put them in my closet and six months later brought them out to start using them. I was shocked to find the other shoe was not the correct one. It was a Puma. I tried to exchange them a few weeks ago for another pair and the store manager would not do anything for me. Not even an exchange. Nothing to try and remedy the mistake that their own employee did. I was out over $100 bucks. I was so pissed! I do not recommend anyone do business with this store or for that matter the company. I called the corporate office and they would do nothing either. read more

Received a pair of black VARIN ESPADRILLE WEDGE SANDALS by MARC FISHER in the mail today. Shoes have clearly been returned because shoe box came in damaged, as well as the shoes weren't properly packaged to be protected during shipping and handling process. Bottom of shoes were black from previous wear as well as a weird small patch at the toe on the left shoe covering damage from the previous owner. Not sure why I'm the lucky member that receives all the used shoes DSW has to offer. This is the third pair I received from them that is USED. Once again will be returning. I bought two pair of sandals on line from DSW website. When they arrived I decided I needed a half size smaller I took the shoes into the DSW store here in Spokane asked for the smaller size, which they agreed to do as long as I was aware there additional charges. When I finally left the store with the smaller sandals my billfold was $41.00 smaller! They would NOT to a trade for the same sandals one half size smaller! They would not honour the discount that was given to me on line. Apparently they will not honour any existing discounts at all ! The reason given that something to do with the "COVID" virus the clerk said ? I was so upset I paid the extra $41.00 and left the store. I will return to the store on Monday to hopefully talk with the store manager if this situation cannot be rectified I will return those sandals. I will let you know the outcome. I was excited to come to this store because I've never been to one. I found the shoes I liked and tried them on, perfect fit. However each pair I looked at had worn bottoms and looked dirty and used. I took my business elsewhere and found the same shoes actually brand new and clean for $10 cheaper. read more

I love DSW! I read the 2 negative reviews and must say, that has not been my experience at all. Staff consistently inquires if I need help. Returns have also not been a problem -- even months after the fact (admittedly, I had not worn the shoes at all). The clearance racks in the back are amazing -- I've scored several super-markdown pairs for $14.00 shoes. Not sure why, as my size is common (~7.5) and the shoes were very cute. I'm just glad I have a big closet, as I can't stay away. Join the free rewards program -- I've gotten "free" shoes and handbags via it, not to mention complimentary shipping when shopping online. One more thing: the in-store merchandise may differ from what is offered online. Too bad that means I have to shop both ;) read more

Shoes, shoes, shoes. Oh my, the shoes at DSW. It's a haven for shoes of mid-level and slightly above brands and designer names. At discount prices. Who could ask for anything more? I can lose myself for hours in the aisles and there are typically three ways I shop at DSW: 1. I take my time, lovingly caressing each shoe that strikes my fancy and patiently checking the boxes to see if the style is available in my size. These are the kinds of days I walk out of DSW with an armload of boxes, stacking them to the roof of my Escape and barely leaving enough room for my dog to see through the window. 2. I storm in, I spot something I like in a brand name with which I am familiar, I don't even try it on and I'm out in less than five minutes, depending on the lineup at the till. 3. Online. God, how I love shopping online. Thank you, DSW. And yes, once again, I only buy the brands I know are standard in their sizing. So, thank you, DSW. Just for being you. Heart you. read more

I bought a pair of shoes in the Spokane WA store. I was concerned with paying $75 for a pair of shoes without knowing if they were going to be comfortable enough to wear at work all day. The cashier at the store that I purchased them at, assured me that if I wore them indoors a couple times and did not get them dirty, that I could return them with no problems. I live in Moses Lake therefore it took me a whole month to return them. I explained to them that my feet were hurting after wearing them during two short shifts at work., and I needed a bigger size. I did not want my money back I just wanted something that I can wear for over 8 hours a day. the cashier asked the manager to approve the exchange. the manager told me that she cannot do anything for me because I wore them two times. I paid 69.99 plus tax for those shoes and now I have no use for them. I feel this store has poor customer service and very rude management. I would like to see this matter addressed, otherwise I will be looking for a better store for my friends and family to shop at. thank you for your service. read more
