Amy hooked me up with an awesome pair of Brooks that were absolutely what I needed along with some SuperFeet insoles that will help out with my running and back pain. Amy measured my feet and wrote down some numbers and put me on the treadmill and examined my feet. She came out with some great shoes that I have full confidence are the right pair for me. Our 10 year old has had a huge growth spurt this last year and has had increasing pain in his feet. I finally took him in for a stride test and these guys were amazing. They fit him to some shoes first go that relieved his pain almost instantly, and they were very considerate to our son. The customer service here has been quite good. They did a proper running/gait analysis on me, which is a base requirement for any running store that I'm willing to give money to. The product selection for trail shoes was pretty good, and as I've had issues with the shoes I bought, they've continued to try and work with me to resolve them. We're not there yet, since they continue to destroy my feet, but I've been quite pleased with their efforts to try and get the shoes and my feet to cooperate with each other. read more

Went to Fleet Feet because I needed new shoes due to recent excruciating plantar fasciatis. I'm not a runner but it didn't matter-Amy greeted me, measured my feet, checked out my walk on the treadmill, and then explained the various features I needed in shoes in order to have a more comfortable pair. She brought out 3 pair, I chose a pair on sale, and then another ultra-comfy pair of slip on sandals to wear around the house. She was a patient and knowledgeable salesperson without being pushy. Went in with blisters from my current shoes and the service here is outstanding! They measured my feet, had me run in the treadmill and took a video of me running and analyzed me. I tried on a bunch of different shoes and ran on the treadmill and outside. They are awesome! I'll definitely be coming back here for future shoe purchases. read more

This is a nice little independent running store. Like most independent stores the prices can be a little higher than the chain stores. BUT...what you get at these little stores in customer service makes up for a few extra bucks every time. My girlfriend and I wandered in here based on a tip from a fellow runner. We were greeted with a kind "hello" and "how can we help you." That goes a long ways for me. One of the workers finished up with one customer and jumped over to help my girlfriend find a new pair of running shoes (since I mistakenly took her favorite ones to the Goodwill during our recent move). YIKES! Anyway...the shoe fit protocol at this store is to take the time to measure your feet, not just the length, but the width, height, pronation...everything. Then they move onto the treadmill where they shoot a short 20-30 second video of you running barefoot. Afterward they sit down with you and analyze the video to point out pronation issues and whatnot. Then they recommend shoes based on your profile. This is excellent in my opinion. Going into a big chain store and picking out shoes can leave you with a pair that could possibly do serious damage to your feet, ankles, knees, back... My girlfriend tried on three pairs of shoes. They let her go outside and run to see how they felt. Meanwhile the girl that was helping her would keep conversation going so I wouldn't get bored. I thought that was nice. After trying out the three pairs she settled on one. They weren't any more expensive than I had seen them at other stores. The only reason I gave this store a 4 rather than a 5 was because of some of the running clothes and socks that seemed to be fairly high priced even for a smaller store. If I could give this store a 4 1/2 I would. But this is my review and I'm sticking to it. This is a great store! Buy some shoes! Go for a run! read more

They may be more expensive, but with the attention they give (I worked with Alia and she was amazing) and the fact that you can return the shoes if they don't work and you've run in them - Definitely worth it. read more

One of a kind store, staff is very helpful & knowlegable, the shoes are more expensive, but it is totally worth getting shoes fit to your specific needs & feet, other stores don't offer this type of service, my most recent experience I brought my mom in who has a lot of foot pain, she was not wearing the right shoes for her feet, she is so happy with her new shoes & inserts. read more

I recently began running again and knew that the shoes I had picked up from Finish Line a few months back just weren't cutting it. Yes they were running shoes, but they just didn't feel right and it was seriously affecting my performance. I went into Fleet Feet after doing some research on Yelp, and I was blown away!!! Linaya greeted me warmly and while she was very knowledgeable, she never made me feel silly for being clueless about good running gear. She did a thorough measurement of my feet and then observed my stride while I jogged on their treadmill. Turns out I tend to pronate when I run! (Who knew?!) She then brought out a selection of shoes that could provide the stability that I needed in order to get me running straight! They are fantastic about letting you really get a feel for each shoe, you can even take them for a run on their treadmill or around the block! Linaya ultimately helped me select the perfect shoe ($120) AND an amazing pair of socks. I even came back a few days later for more socks. I was skeptical at first about a pair of $12 socks but they were LIFE CHANGING!!! If you value your body enough to exercise, then you owe it to yourself to invest in some good shoes that will spare you a lot of potential injuries in the long run.
