Penny Seat covers has been around for a long time and I have done business with them several times…read morein the past. They have done good work but my latest experience wasn't so good. Before going to all the work of hauling my heavy Jeep seats in, I called then texted several pictures of the damage for both seats. I included the fact that a cat had clawed them. I had to ping him again to get him to respond. He told me he would let me know after his lunch. After the reminder he then said $250 to $350. The price sounded reasonable so I said I would be in. I then took my lunch hour and asked a friend to help me heft the heavy seats to the back of my truck and drove out to Orem to drop them off. After hauling them inside again with my friend, and calling out the owner appeared and I showed him the seats. We counted 8 panels that needed work as the pictures clearly showed. I was then given a new bid of $450. I reminded him that he had quoted me $250 to $350 and he stumbled for a few seconds then said. "Both seats." Which makes no sense at all. Both seats would have been at least $500 or $700 given the range he quoted me so he clearly didn't really look at the pictures and didn't care enough about his customer to ask questions and give a fair and honest quote. My biggest frustration was his attitude of I don't really want to do the work anyway. I get it, I am sure it is a lot of work and both seats had 4 panels that had to be replaced. I have done automotive upholstery work in the past and It isn't an easy job. However, I went to the trouble to take pictures haul the seats to him and then be told something different than the quote was his bad, not mine. I then offered him the quoted price and he said "No thank you." and rudely walked away. I get the feeling he doesn't really want to be in business anymore and definitely he feels like his time is worth more than mine. Brand new high-back seats on Amazon were less than his quote so I guess he did me a favor. Sad that we can't get good service locally anymore.

This guy does absolutely amazing work in record time! The chair we had done (shown in the pics) was my grandmother's old chair, and is one of the few things I had from her. However, it was showing it's age and really needed to be updated. Hector did an amazing job fixing it up with some new upholstery and doing some repairs so that it feels like new! Customer service here is terrible…read more From the moment I walked in, I wasn't greeted and was immediately spoken to rudely. I explained exactly what I needed and even mentioned I've worked in the tire industry for 2 years, yet I was still questioned and pressured on my own specifications. I waited over an hour for a simple flat tire replacement. During that time, I asked an employee to grab something from my car he "forgot," and I had to ask again later as there were multiple times he wasn't even busy. After all that waiting, they finally brought my car in, only to refuse service due to a stripped lug nut, That part is understandable. What's not understandable is them trying to pressure me into still buying the tire even after refusing to install it and wasting my time. When I pushed to cancel everything, the "manager" told me he could technically still charge me for installation since the tire was already on the rim, and that I'd have to pay for installation even if I didn't get the tire but he was going to "let it slide." That's not how you handle customers. To top it off, when I went outside to get my car, that same "manager" came up holding a broken plastic piece from my door handle and said, "sorry, I broke it can you take it out for me." No accountability, no real apology. At that point, it felt like the situation was handled out of ego, and frustration rather than professionalism, especially after I pushed back on being charged, not surprised. If customer service matters at all, this damage should be addressed and paid for. I won't be coming back.

After 5 days of your car sitting... They submit an initial estimate to your insurance, then wait for approval. After that, they finally bring your car in and start tearing it down -- in my case, about a week after I had already dropped it off. Even more frustrating, they still didn't have a clear or final estimate after all that time. So your car just sits there while you're left in the dark about what's actually happening, what it's going to cost, or how long it will take. There is a serious lack of transparency and communication throughout the entire process. If you value your time and want clear expectations, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else.
