From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. We started with several appetizers, including the calamari, which was absolutely amazing and one of the highlights of the meal. The service was top-notch. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and genuinely delightful throughout our visit. She checked on us regularly and somehow always seemed to appear with another beer before I even realized I needed one! It's rare to find service that feels so natural and attentive without being intrusive. Both of our entrées were delicious, and everything we ordered was prepared perfectly. What really stood out was the attention to detail. As we were leaving, our waitress stopped us to share information about the restaurant's weekly specials. She recognized it was our first visit and made sure we felt welcomed and informed. The combination of exceptional service, great food, and a relaxed atmosphere made for a phenomenal dining experience. While it's a little pricier than your average restaurant, the quality and service make it well worth the cost. Highly recommended--we'll definitely be back!

You could see it on the plate. But that's not to say it wasn't absolutely delicious. Glad we got it. Next time I'll say no extra salt. I got the Mahi Mahi bowl for my actual meal and it was absolutely delicious. I couldn't have made a better choice. The fish was cooked perfect. It was put over rice and veggies. A little glaze. I need to take my wife here for a date night. Place is upscale.

We stopped at Ozgood's, it was about 12:30pm. It was surprisingly busy for the rainy day & thoughts of those out for celebrations tomorrow. We waited in the corridor for about 10 minutes while two large parties were seated. Then we were sat in a back booth. We did not have a reservation. We were hungry and ordered fairly quickly. For how busy they were we only waited about 20 minutes for food. Our server was nice, quiet but attentive. Never felt like we weren't being checked on. All together- I had the Habanero Bacon Jam Scallops, Mom had the Ozgood's Burger with Sweet Potato Fries, my Hubby ordered the Pot Roast Grilled Cheese with Fries. Hits and Misses in the food. The bacon jam was gooey, without that punch of pepper or bacon as hoped for. And the scallops needed 30 more seconds on the heat. I like raw scallop, so didn't mind it. But for a normal patron's palate these would have been undercooked. Also these were not super fresh. My husband pot roast sandwich was good. The banana peppers gave it pizazz, as well the gravy for the fries- nice touch for a dip. My Mom's burger was ok. And sweet potato fries tasted out of the box. One surprise was this cocktail! Mom and I shared and both loved it!! I did not catch the name- but it had gin and blueberry syrup. Now I need to find blueberry syrup for a cocktail. This was refreshing, punchy and sweet. Upping this review to a 4-star for the quick service and cocktail. Ozgood's has been around for a long time and makes sense why. It's solid, not standout. But worth a visit.

We crossed over into The Bridge Inn and were pleasantly surprised!…read moreMom's birthday brought the family together for an early dinner. A Saturday at 6pm, party of 5 arrived. A fall chill was in the air, however the heat was ablazing at the Inn. Downgrade for atmosphere in the temperature. Like we wished we were all dressed for summer. Really unappealing in how hot it was. Especially in that we were seated for awhile with a larger party. However, all the sweat was worth the food. The food was great. Really solid. We over ordered but had the chance to enjoy a vary of menu. Our experience in the extensive cocktail menu was nice. Top tier martini selection. We've enjoyed before at The Martini Bar upstairs and at dinner now, as well. Onto the food- Slower paced, but we needed the spacing with our courses. Appetizers included the Baked Brie in Puffed Pastry, the Escargot and Crab & Artichoke Dip. All devoured. All large portions. The brie was creamy and flaky, almost did not need all the bread accompanying. The escargot should have been renamed as mushroom toast. No overt snail, but the mushrooms were gorgeous!! Multi species, woodsy, buttery. The crab dip was creamy, with noticeable dollops of both crab and artichoke. Discernible and delightful. And chips- flash fried fresh. Entrees ordered took a bit to arrive. But as said, we needed the time to digest. Entrees around were the Burger, Steak Diane, Veal Oscar, Crab Cake, and Scallops Provençal. The restaurant was very accommodating with my mother's picky nature. She modified the single crab cake with a baked potato sub and applesauce. Just enough for her to be happy. On entrees will start with the Goods- The Burger tasted fine, no flair and crisp chips. The Steak Diane was juciy, lots of herby mushroom and beautiful roasted potatoes. French Onion Soup- brothy, cheesy, but a bit too much sherry. The Betters- Crab Cake and Baked Potatoes. The crab cake was pure, not much filler and kept structure. Each potato was baked well, skin smokey in a sliceable potato bite. The Best- Hello Oscar! We were so impressed with the tender, white, huge lumps of crab in the veal sauce. Extraordinary in offering. Then Scallops!!!!! My dish. Wow. Just wow. Put me into the category of scallop snob. I make them at home regularly and can tell when the cook is complete just by the smell. These came out & smelled and looked perfect. Sunk that fork in. Ahhhhh. No resistance. Seared beautiful outside and perfect pillow inside. Divine. One of the best scallop dishes. I WILL eat this again! Standout star of the menu. One creme brûlée finished the meal as the birthday dessert. Caramel sugar crisp, but a bit unstructured, a little too runny. We will be back to The Bridge Inn.... .....But maybe next time we'll dress in layers. Well done.
