Very crowded, cramped and loud when busy. The menu is decent but the food is just ok. The service is slow with just having drinks refreshed and orders taken. For terms of Fleetwood, this place was great! Stopped here on the way to a royals game from kutztown last Wednesday and couldn't say I was never more happy with the food and beer selection! I don't think there is a single bar around with the amount of craft beers on tap and in cans for drinking in or for take out. My craving for the pulled pork sandwich I knew and loved had to be satisfied. The pork sandwich I got had a 3×5 clump of fat/skin under the lid. OK, so I took that off and what was supposed to be pork, tasted more like chicken. Definitely not worth 12$. I'm not a picky eater. It was my second time going and decided to try a burger . I don't remember the name of it but it had pierogies and cheddar cheese on it and was excellent and full of flavor . I would set this as more of a 3.5 than anything. Servers were very kind, and trivia also boosts restaurant ambiance. But it was extremely juicy regardless, so I won't knock off too much for that. The mini pierogies were kind of unnecessary, but allowed for extra snacking. They use large grain sea salt on their fresh cut fries. Yum. Yum. The cheese curds are pretty decent, although I think they should try a more original sauce on the side than ranch. I have to say they have the best wings around. It's very enjoyable to eat or have drinks at the establishment. The owners are wonderful and they diligently keep people updated with their specials and different entertainment nights on Facebook. They have also provided us with the best take out I think I've ever had. Everything still hot and perfect and we get it home and the way they bag their fries keeps them in perfect condition. We had take out meals as part of the North Eastern Berks Chamber of Commerce virtual dinner theater. My wife and I had prime rib and chicken Oscar. Both were excellent. Food was hot, salads fresh and crisp with hand grated cheese slivers. Quality was superb. Seven others of our Kutztown Rotary group also were very pleased with their meals. She had a spread of food and beer tastings for us and seamlessly handled our large group. The food is amazing!! The staff and atmosphere were great!! With their support we were able to raise $800! This place is a long time favorite for me and my family. The new owners have worked hard to bring it up to date yet still maintain the historic feel. Great fries, burgers, sandwiches and specials. Keep in mind, it is a local watering hole with inexpensive drinks. So you may hear some foul language coming from the bar on occasion. That isn't a deal breaker for us now, but when our children were small, it did keep us from going in as much as we would have. read more

Long overdue review. Bar tenders are friendly but this place is irritatingly inconsistent. Today I asked for fries with my wrap for a Togo order. When I got there the wrap was served with chips. After bringing this to the bar tenders attention she proceeded to give me an up-charge for the fries that I have never had to pay for before-even after she got the order wrong! NO APOLOGY. Also, the wrap was half the size that it had previously been. An all around bad experience. On a different occasion I had ordered a turkey, bacon, cheddar wrap and they forgot the tomato and lettuce. The time before that I ordered a salad that was supposed to have candied walnuts. It came out with none. This would have been fine if they had just forgotten but they were "out". This is something that should have been brought to someone's attention BEFORE the salad came out. The bartender that was serving it this time handled it better than the first. We received a token for a free drink. This place is fine for a beer but things like this are what cause businesses to close. read more

The best wings I've had in a while. Perfectly cooked to order (well done). The hot is basic buffalo (Franks) hot. Not too big or too small. Served with perfect blue cheese for dipping your wings (as they should). Service is very good. Beer selection is impressive for the area. I ordered a steak salad and sweet potato fries. The salad tastes fine but was not cooked to medium rare as I asked. More like medium well. I never got the sweet potato fries. They forgot about them twice. It was so loud that I couldn't here the people sitting at my table. There were only 2 people taking care of the 30+ people, one of which was running the bar that was full. The only thing they have going for them is a decent selection of beer. Cheap beer with a generally laid back atmosphere. But I've been coming here for about a year and they've raised their food prices 4 TIMES!! Still not THAT expensive; and usually very tasty. (The cheap beer helps) But still makes you feel sorta ripped off. The staff is excellent and very laid back. Fairly clean for a bar; and usually not too rowdy. The actual bar isn't very big so getting a seat isn't always easy. There are tables but it just isn't the same feel as the bar in my opinion. read more

It hurts to write this type of review but when my girlfriend and I went there this past weekend for the luau event on Saturday we walked in and were told we couldn't sit at the one high top because the band was going to be setting up. We were fine with that because the bartender was very nice about it. After that we sat down at a table in front where the band was going to be playing and we were told yet again that we had to move the table to the left. Again we were fine about it and moved. The bartender kept apologizing and being very kind. As we were moving another couple came in and asked if the could take the table next to us and such and then asked if the could sit at the bar making people at the bar move around so they could fit two there. After that happened we were sitting at our table with no drink order, menus, or anything at all. Meanwhile the older couple that barged in after had already had their drinks and put their food order in. This is already 15 minutes that we were in the place and still no drinks or menus. We were left to hang dry!!!! After being acknowledged for sitting where the band was going to be. Overall we were not pleased with how long we were ignored and forgotten about so my girlfriend and I left! So sad this happened because I love this place so much and I never have anything bad to say about it. But after this experience I really have a bad taste about the place. The waitress/bartender was rude both times we went. The place is small. Wings were good though but they overcharge you for everything. I paid 0.50 cents to get dressing with my hot wings which comes free at most places. You also can't take anything home with you on wing nights and have to buy a soda so it doesn't come up cheap for "wing night". So basically if you want good expensive wings with crappy service go here. read more

Been here a couple of times and have always had great food but the service has been spotty. Last visit our server was also the bartender. She is not an unattractive young lady but as the song says " she'd be a lot prettier if she smiled once in a while". She seemed less than enthused about having a table to compete with her two other customers in the whole place; less than attentive would be a good review of her service. As stated before, the food is good but the joint obviously refills their Heinz ketchup bottles with not-suitable-for-deer-camp ketchup that tastes crappy and definitely adds nothing to the enjoyment of the food. The labels on the bottles are very worn and peeling. The Not-so-attentive server / bartender mentioned previously, brought only one 1/4 full re-filled bottle to a table of 5 and then seemed annoyed when asked to provide a bit more. read more

We use to frequent the bar quite often with friends and our kids after games, was great food, fast service. Well that was in the past, decided to take my parents who were visiting from out of town to the "bar" for some good food....well I was wrong, had to wait 45 min for food(we were the only table there) the chicken fingers were not the same, gross, the special was dried out had no taste and the wonderful "fresh cut fries that the bar tender was raving about"were too salty and too forever as well. The bathroom didn't have toilet paper, waiter sneezed and didn't wash his hands when he handed us our food... Please go back to the way it was! read more
