We dropped in recently after the brewery next door wouldn't allow entry to minors (what's up with THAT law, Washington State??), so my wife and I brought our teenagers into Fletcher Bay and kicked back with some drinks and a delicious Salmon dip. Service was exceptionally friendly, and the laid-back vibe was exactly what we needed after a day exploring Bainbridge. We particularly loved their 2022 Pirate Red vintage -- a bold, fruity red blend from Washington's Walla Walla Valley. The kitchen serves a solid selection of tasty small plates, and there's ample seating both inside and along the sidewalk. A great spot to visit before you catch the ferry back to Seattle! read more

This is a great location! Went for some wine tasting with friends. They have indoor and outdoor seating. What I liked about the wine tasting is that you got to pick what tastes you wanted to try and it was not pre-fixed. Typical food options of charcuterie. They have rooftop seating which I was looking forward to, but due to the time of year it was closed. I would like to go back in the spring or summer when they open and enjoy it on the rooftop. They have a small parking lot for parking. Otherwise you would need to find street parking. It's also easily walkable if you're coming over on the Seattle ferry. Our second winery on the island! As an adventurous wine noob, I honestly love tasting rooms so this was one of my favorite stops during our trip. We claimed a table before ordering at the front desk-- plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were bubbly & knowledgeable as we decided on wines that would please our group's diverse palate. We landed on two bottles, which came with a free flight (such a good deal!). SWEET FLIGHT: Served in self-pour mini carafes. This is the perfect amount for a tasting-- these are REALLY sweet! Definitely fun for us to try. SAUV BLANC: So crisp & refreshing~ Loved the fruity notes and smoothness. BATTLE POINT RED: I'm not a red blend fan so this wasn't for me, but the rest of our group seemed to enjoy it! Easy to stay several hours when the atmosphere is so cozy and inviting. I'd recommend the flights and tasting the mixed and the sweet wines if you go and do wine tasting. It's just absolutely beautiful. From the ferry to the wine tasting. However it is confusing once you get there because there are a bunch of different places close together but I recommend coming here. We tasted 8 different wines for $100 so it's not bad at all. I personally liked the mixed wine flight (especially the house white) better due to the taste profile compared to the sweet wine flight. Sweet wine flight was okay- but if you like the taste of cherry (at the time of this review, it had some cherry wine flavors), then you might enjoy it! Regardless of my preference for the wines, you can also order charcuterie boards (Gouda cheese was great)! And it's a really great pairing for the flights. The lovely lady who worked behind the bar answered every question we had about the menu & wines. I love that they have a four flight wine tasting and you can also order little light bites there to go with your wine. We decided to get the Flight of red wines. We loved the Syrah and the barking dog red wind. They have a little light bite menu and they definitely have a vegan choice as well. Went there on a windy and cloudy Saturday evening with my friend who loves wine tasting. They offer different wine tastings - Just Reds, Mixed or Custom. They also have some 'Library reserve' wines for tasting that o saw later. Each tasting has 4 wines. Between me and my friend, we got one Reds and another Custom. My favorites were there Barking Red, Sauvignon Blanc and Rose. Me and my friend shared our flights to taste as many as we could. Ordered their cheese platter to snack with the wines. They waive off the tasting fees if you buy 2 bottles. We liked their wines and bought 2 bottles each. Barking red (red blend) and 2022 Sauvignon blanc for me. Barking red and Sagrantino (red). All their wines are made in Washington. We got our dog along so we sat outside. They had outdoor seating with umbrellas, didn't see any heaters. It was manageable for us but I don't recommend that for colder days. Overall a good experience. read more

This was my first time in Washington State and I'd heard so much about Bainbridge Island. I took a two drive over here to see what the hype was about and to enjoy its beauty. The very first place that I stopped to see was the Museum of Art but walked into this winery first. As I walked up, I saw a couple through the window and knew that the business was open despite the lights not being on. Upon entrance, the sole worker behind the counter had called the couple over to retrieve their wine selections. I waited! During the entire time of my would be patronage, not one time was my presence acknowledged. Now, I understand that the employee was helping other customers but she could have still made note of my existence. There was literally no one else in the winery but her, the couple, and my party. A simple yet professional "Hello", "Welcome", "Just a moment", or "I'll be with you in a minute" would have sufficed but nope, not even that much. I do NOT spend my money where it is not appreciated! I was appalled and befuddled by such a lack of common decency and business decorum. This was so much so, that I ended up just walking out. To the owner, it truly is the little things that make a customer experience a good experience and would make him/her want to return or tell friends about your establishment. Oh my goodness I HIGHLY recommend this place please come here first as u get into Bainbridge! I was here in February. Somehow, this place was less busy than the other places we went to, which is totally underrated. We had the best experience there. First - the interior is so cute and decorated. There were a few groups of people, but did not feel crowded. When we went in, the first thing we did is to go up to the counter to order. They had many options, including flights of wine and single glass. They also have food (including a massive cheese plate for $14, which i did not get). I am a fan of red, so i got the all red flight. However - you can get the all white or mixed as well. They give you a super cute flight crate. This was the first plus. It also feels like they gave us a good amount of wine. We were pretty lit up by the end of our time there. In addition, you can definitely spend upward of an hour there, because the atmosphere is so welcoming, and again, you can get snacks/food ;) To the wine - i am not a wine expert, but we were definitely a fan of their wine. Their wine on tap was interesting as well. Anyway - i dont remmeber much, i just know that my friend and i spent a nice time there, and also, i would like to say that all of the patrons were also soooo nice. The demographic matters. One lady at a table offered us seats because she weren't using the seats at her table as she is just reading, and another lady was always smiling at us. I just felt so welcomed. It's located right outside of the ferry terminal, so it's very easy to get to if you are visiting from Seattle. My friends and I (five of us) decided to try the Fruit Wine flight, since we weren't sure which wines we liked and didn't want to commit to just one. If you get two wine bottles, it negates the price of the flight - a really great deal if you use the flight to decide on what flavors to order. All of us liked the Strawberry Wine, so we decided to get a bottle of that and a friend also got his own bottle of the Raspberry Wine. I also shared the Prosciutto and Brie board with a friend - super worth, and it came with a plentiful amount of cheese and meat (and refillable crackers). New as in the countertops were installed the day before we got there. The owner was so nice and chatty. Her quirky personality made the experience enjoyable. She perfectly described all the wines that we tried and how each we're curated based on % type of grape. This place has a buttery Chardonnay, which I will never stop loving. They also have a really good red (can't remember the name) with multiple layers of flavors, the taste is well balanced against the other grapes placed in the bottle. They also had a yummy ice wine or one that closely resembled an ice wine I tried in Michigan.
