So, I have gone to this nail spot and they have changed owners three different times in the last year that's I've gone. Normally, this is a bit of a red flag however comma I have never had unsatisfactory service. I feel like the biggest reason why I just haven't made this my regular spot is because it's hard for me to have a consistent spot, I usually get my nails done based upon where I am location wise at the moment and how bad does my nails look (I usually factor in the wait time). I actually have only had to wait once coming here the few times I did and even then the wait was like ten minutes. The salon is very spacious and clean (which I know is super important). I LOVE that they have a larger variety of gel colors, I personally am addicted to the color changing gel polish, sort of like a two for one deal. Basically, it's one color when cold (like black) and when you fingers are warm it changes colors (to a gray). I think I love it the most when my fingers are making a transition from cold to hot or vice verse and it's almost like a little ombré action. The nail techs have always done a really good job on my nails and they LISTEN to what I want. I usually keep my nails short and like them to be rounded. Some places insist on doing my nails square round. This location just gives me exactly what I want, which I appreciate. The new owners (husband and wife) are really hands on with the customers. The husband will keep you laughing, and his wife is a bad ass nail tech. All in all this place is a sure bet for your hand and toe needs. I am always impressed with the quality of pedicure and the massage/hot stone treatment is amazing. My gels always look good and last for weeks. Highly recommend! read more

Honestly, I felt like royalty. And, I didn't have to pay royal prices. The Salon crew's skill was only matched by their exemplary customer service. The ambiance is refreshing, contemporary, and super clean. I visited to have my feet taken care of but realized it was worth my while to have my hands tended to as well. Ask for Ms. V for your nails and any of the ladies on staff for the pedicure. They truly pride themselves in providing the best possible experience. Get the deluxe pedicure. I went for the deluxe and oh man my tired ole dawgs thank me. Not only do they feel like a baby's bottom, they look amazing. I showed up almost 20 minutes early and they took me right away ! I also only had an appt for a manicure but when I asked they happily did a pedicure and my brows !!! Very kind and professional! This is my absolute favorite nail place! As soon as you walk in, Nick (one of the owners), greets you and makes you feel right at home. Nick is also a great color matcher. For the most part (unless they are slammed), you will get put into a chair quickly. Now let me talk to about the actual nails, WOW! They do a fantastic job! Great prices (cheaper then most places in the greater New Orleans area) plus your nails are fantastic. Pedicures are done thoroughly, which is always so hard to find. Nick's wife (who is a technician) does amazing work and only hires other technicians that do great work also. now when you come back, Nick will remember you. Its a great big family when there. They make sure you are relaxed and at ease the whole time. Also, most of them speak great English so its very easy to communicate exactly what you want which is AMAZ-BALLS! I was visiting in Metairie and needed to get my nails done. I chose Fleur de Nails because it was closest to where I was and I liked the name! When I arrived for my appointment, there was no one else there, so I had 3 lovely technicians giving me their attention. I felt like a queen!! My pedicure was well done and very relaxing. This is the worse experience I've had here. I came in for a mani/pedi. This lady working way to fast to get to the next customer and not paying attention to the customer in front of her. She was all over the place and ended up clipping my skin on one of toes making me bleed. I told her she was going too fast and she started speaking Vietnamese. She asked if I wanted a mani and I said "no thank you. You are moving way too fast." Gentleman them ask and I said no! " You all are working way too fast to get all the customers in and not paying attention to the customer in front of you. I've been coming here at least every month since March. Won't be back! I went to this nail salon during my lunch break and was incredibly disappointed. They sat me down immediately and made me think I would get my pedicure immediately. I was wrong in my assumption and I waited around in the chair for 30 minutes until the nail tech finally acknowledged me. They are slow as molasses and took forever to file down my nails. I told the nail tech I had to be back at work and I don't think she liked that response. A male technician then came over and sloppily painted my toenails. No apologies or no conversation and then basically rushed me out once I paid. Never going back to this salon and will go to Essential Nails or LA Nails instead for my pedis! read more

For one, the service when I was there was terrible. The woman that did my nails got up to attend someone else that walked outside because they didn't want to wait. She also attended to someone else in the middle of doing my nails to do another person's nails leaving me hanging. Then proceed to grab her phone before she came back to me. For that matter, I should have had to pay less than what I paid. As she was doing my nails, I asked her to do coffin. She made my nails uneven and even hurt me in the process. When I kept telling her she was hurting me, she continued to do so. The times I pulled away because it was burning, she pulled my arms back to her. Horrible customer service!! This was my first time visiting this salon and I will never be back. Waited over 40 minutes for a mani/pedi to begin on an early Friday morning. Never in my life have I waited this long. Maybe it wouldn't have bothered me so much if I'd been offered a bottle of water or if I didn't watch the staff help what I can only assume is their "regulars" who arrived after me first, while I sat in the chair with my feet soaking in cold water. Absolutely amazing! Went in one a Sunday morning when they opened. The salon it's self is very welcoming as well as Vi and her staff. I needed to get my acrylic nails filled (previously done at another solan), and wanted to get a pedicure. Vi did an amazing job in my nails, much better then the previous place. I decided on the Pearl Spa pedi! OMG!!! So worth the money! Kim did an amazingly wonderful job. She spent almost an hour and a half on my feet and legs! Hands down the best pedicure I have ever had!! I gave them a shot and boy and I glad I did. Beautiful new location! The most amazing pedicure chairs and best of all it doesn't smell like a typical nail salon!!!!! Maybe the young man who did my gel mani was new but he was rough. When roughing up my nails with an Emory board, he roughed up my skin too. When trimming a hangnail, his trimmer wasn't sharp enough to cut it, so he just tried to pull it off-ouch! read more

I have been there a few times and they are always under staffed, therefore I always have to wait a while for my services. After today though I will never be back. As usual they only had a few employees working so I had to wait about 30 minutes for my pedicure, even though the salon only had 6 customers. While I was waiting I watched the girl who was preparing her tray to start my pedicure. I watched her take the pedicure instruments for one tray and put them in a "sterile bag" and put them on the tray she brought over to do my pedicure. Disgusting! I advise everyone to really watch your nail technicians when they open the "sterile instruments" to see if the instruments were truly in a sterile and sealed bag because mine were not! read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I have came here about 5-7 times. My last 3 times have been horrible. I was cut on both of my big toes. My manicure was extremely rough and she cut unnecessary skin! This last particular time I love the Dip. It lasts very long. Unfortunately, they don't have very many selections. Today I had a hard time finding a ride to get to this nail shop and I had an event to go to today. I was only able to go to the nail shop on weekends because that's the only time I'll have a ride. All I wanted was to just get my toes polished and that's it! I finally went to the nail shop and it was 5:50 p.m. they close at 6. I walked in there and they asked me to come tomorrow which I won't able to make it to any nail shop tomorrow. I'm pissed. If the business closes at 6 you should still close at 6 and not 10 minutes early. read more
