I've had stylist that promise "light layering" for movement and volume and when I walk out it's good but the moment they aren't styling it my hair looks choppy and thin or like I let a child cut it. But not w Ron!! First visit was my first cut after loosing 60lbs and some hair w it. We removed some split ends gave it some shape kept layers to around my face and OMG so gentle and relaxing with the wash and comb out. With how fine my hair is it's not uncommon to have a few hairs snap during detangling. NOT A ONE. And the best part my hair looks just as amazing when I style it myself at home bc the cut is great!! I'm VERY hesitant about haircuts due to a lifetime of bad experiences so when I find someone that I feel comfortable and confident with trusting my hair to I will sing their praises like a gospel choir. This time there where 3 other stylists in the salon w appointments as well, all seemed to be regular repeat clients and one from what I overheard had gone somewhere else closer to his part of town and has now returned to Sweet 200. Super chill fun friendly vibe. I found this salon bc I like to spend my money as local as possible to where I live. Even if I moved to a different part of Dallas I will be booking here.

They did an excellent job; even though the person who was supposed to do my hair had picked out very bad hair. They still used it anyway. I was very grateful. They were very very kind and gentle. They did an outstanding job! The braids were beautiful and on point, I got Boho braids. I'm tender headed, so I was prepared to hurt, but they did not braid my brain. My head was sore, but I didn't get a headache. Again, though I'm tender headed. The braids were on point as they should be without being too tight.

They were professional and friendly from the start. My consultation with "Color Specialist" Gaelle was informative, detailed and encouraging. On my appointment day Saylor did a great precision cut for me prior to Gaelle who then worked her color magic. Gaelle transformed me, taking me back to my natural brown (I have colored copper for more than a decade) and matched the 5 inches of smokey gray roots. It was a long day but so worth it! I really wanted to like this salon…read more Want to begin this review with stating that I have been dying my hair for over 5 years. I got my first balayage done when I was 16 and am not shy to the price it comes with. As a nurse, I can also tell when the person servicing you actually cares vs. doing a job. And my experience was the latter, unfortunately. The biggest turnoff was the hairstylist herself. Arrogant, and pretty much scolded me for my hair journey. I get it, I have thick, deva curls naturally. But this isn't something a client would want to hear (or at least make it sound nicer). She also didn't try her best to get to know me-- her client-- and instead was more interested with how I found her work. Didn't try for any small talk that I value, especially when I'm sitting in your chair for over 3 hours. She also didn't have time to actually cut my hair, which I wish she disclosed to me before my appointment. For $400+ (including tip), I paid for a really uncomfortable experience and wouldn't want to come back.
