(For Reference: I am a nontraditional student, and currently enrolled in the program.)…read moreThis program is an amazing experience. I highly recommend it to any potential future students. Roseman University does everything in their power to set you up for success. The university guides the student through their program with the help from the faculty, current students, and alumni. By utilizing all three resources, Roseman University manages to adapt and continually grow. The faculty go out of their way to make sure they are available for the students. Many of the faculty stay way past office hours to answer questions during the blocks they teach. Also, the faculty become your mentors throughout the program. They are there to answer any question, and help direct you for what comes after Roseman. I am consistently in contact with my mentor. Having a mentor is hands down my favorite part of Roseman University. Roseman University encourages the students to learn for each other. From day one, Roseman gathers the individual strengths of each student to make well rounded teams. The teams do not compete against each other. The teams are there to help teach and guide each other. Plus, who doesn't like an automatic built-in study group? You will also have opportunity to work side by side with some of the alumni during your rotations. Many alumni still live and work in Las Vegas. They will know exactly what you are going through, and will offer you great advice. Overall, if you are looking for a great university to continue your path in Pharmacy....I can't think of many better than Roseman University.

Anything you say including *jokes not about patients* can and will be used against you so beware. the sooner this program ends the better. Disrespectful, unprofessional. Give me a break ive seen licensed nurses do worse at the hospitals where ive done clinicals. But I guess students get crapped on. Anyway beware of this program. Its too late for me to back out of it but you can avoid it... if anyone thinks im slacking off i have honors in all but one of my blocks the other just being a regular pass.

For those looking into going back to school or for first timers, look no further Nevada State is…read moredefinitely the school to go to. After being out of school nearly for 8 years, I finally went back. Although, I chose this school as my top choice after doing extensive research, I found out that NSU was number one for nursing. Even if you are not going for nursing, I definitely would recommend NSU for several reasons. The biggest thing that I have learned about attending college campuses is to make it enjoyable, yet having students want to come to school. I just literally hit my first year attending as a transfer, and the professors and advisors want to see you succeed. Compared to other colleges that I have attended, NSU has that support you need. No matter what subject you're taking, all the professors try and help you pass. No matter how hard the subject is. While the professors give you all the resources to pass. You also have your advisors who do not sugar coat. They honestly tell you the truth of what you can and cannot handle. If you are looking for a school that is not just all around academically, but you want affordability this campus is cheaper than attending private or even out of state. Best part is, classes are smaller and they put a cap on classes, especially that have lab as well as the co-requisite.From experience, the smaller class size allows you to learn, know your peers and have that one to one more with the professor. Parking is also free.so for those that live far, definitely a school to attend.

Extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with Nevada State College…read more My advisor instructed me to reach out directly to the department head to ask whether I could take History 251 and History 499 concurrently. I did exactly that, and the department head approved the request. Based on that approval, I planned my schedule and attempted to enroll. When enrollment opened, I was suddenly blocked from registering and told I needed to submit a petition. After jumping through multiple hoops, the petition was denied. I then appealed the decision, and that appeal was also denied by the "dean." It is very hard to believe my appeal was actually reviewed. It is completely unacceptable for a student to receive direct approval from a department head, only to have it taken away later. This directly affects graduation timelines, finances, and stress levels. If I weren't so close to graduating, I would seriously consider transferring to another school. This college is becoming increasingly expensive, and many students are simply trying to finish their degree and move on. Nevada State needs to do better at honoring approvals and supporting students instead of creating unnecessary barriers.

With no…read moresugar coating and all straight facts, this school and it's instructor had shown us, students, their passion for teaching us and helping us commit to excellence. I started my journey nine months ago, and now I am done with my class. I am about to enter my Externship and possibly my future employer. I am very fortunate to have met such amazing instructors who helped me and my classmate get to this point. Ms. Crawford, Ms. J, Ms. H, Mr. H, and our classroom instructor who have pushed us, encourage us and have been very patient with us, Ms. Gamache. There are a series of events that I myself have struggled with due to my life and work balance, but Ms. G have been so understanding and phenomenal in keeping us steady and on track. As a person who works and supports a family while schooling, I appreciate how considerate and understanding our instructor. Everyone in this school will not promise you anything that they can commit. I am glad that I chose this school to take my medical knowledge. I have met such amazing friends and teachers that would help me grow, especially on the field. I will miss this place, for sure to come back again to take my Nursing class soon! To everyone, who has been so skeptical, I understand; I was in your shoes. I am afraid to take a course, get a degree or certification, and be jobless. The good news is that they have a job placement opportunity, and Externship is also one of the resources to build rapport with that employer and get hired after extern. Opportunity does not come gift wrapped. You must take the risk to succeed. I would highly recommend this school.

You won't feel prepared at all before going in the field . Oh and won't get your degree untill every cent is paid from your student debt. So tip is DONT go here ... they love to make it sound like a great program .
