    Terrible company. RUN!!! Scheduled to move a bedroom set to storage. Was quoted $120-$240 and sent quote in writing. Received all 30-minutes prior to move that they have a minimum of $360 so my card was going to be charged again. I explained to Flex Mover that I have a documented quote. He was going to call his supervisor to review. Meanwhile a moving trailer was parked in front of my house and left there. Several hours have no call back from Flex Movers, no movers have showed up, and then I get a call that trailer is going to be picked up in 30-minutes. Unfortunately, movers never showed up. Absolute SCAM. Having to contact the credit card company for a refund as when calling Flex Movers ONLY able to leave a message with answering Service.

    DO NOT HIRE Flex Moving & Storage!!! If I could give negative stars, I would. I scheduled Flex in June to move my son out of his college dorm in August, store a few totes two weeks, and then move him into his new college apartment. At the time of booking, I received a quote for $420.00....and made the reservation thinking that was fair Over the duration of the time of booking to the week of the move out, I called and emailed multiple times trying to get confirmations, and each time customer service said I had to speak to my salesman, Donovan, who made the booking. Donovan never returned my call until the week of moving. Donovan then advised that even though storage was on the original booking, he forgot to add the cost and that my total would be $1,703.00 (yes, almost $1,300 more to store a few things from a college dorm for two weeks). I canceled the reservation, and had their customer service team call and email numerous time apologizing and trying to get me rebook. Now Flex has now tried to charge me twice $200 for a cancelation fee. I've told them via email that if they try to charge again, I will report to the Florida attorney general and every other applicable agency.

    EDIT: after a few weeks, the team has helped me come to a resolution that i am satisfied with. so i am updating my review. my experience with my movers has been incredibly disappointing. they did not have their own tools to disassemble my roommates bed frame, resulting in it completely breaking. they dropped my dresser, which also is damaged. they did not cover any of our wooden furniture in the truck and tried to put my tv in the truck without wrapping it in a moving blanket. i had to explain to them that they need to wrap these things before taking them down the stairs. my move took a total of 9 hours, when i was only moving ten minutes away. i did not have too many items. i listed everything correctly, even counting all of my boxes (which they moved out first before handling the larger items , and left outside on the ground for over an hour. in the dirt.) the fact that they were left outside, it made it easier for me to count and double check my booking info. so i know i am not at fault in any way. we had to take two trips, which should have been one, considering the number of items. these are not professional movers. i am in the process of filing a claim to replace the damaged items and will be disputing to get my money back, because the company promises PROFESSIONAL MOVERS. movers who are responsible for disassembly and reassembly. movers who are trusted to protect your belongings during the move. they did not know what moving blankets were and did not know that a tv should be wrapped / wooden items. i would never recommend this company to anyone. this is the worst moving experience i have ever had. customer support has been as helpful as they can and they have been extremely attentive to my emails. the movers, however, are not trained. the drill pictured in one of the photos is my drill that they needed to try and take the bed frame apart on the STAIRS of the apartment after we had told them they needed to take it apart before moving because it would not fit due to the size of the headboard. part of my drill is now missing. they were unable to actually take it apart, which resulted in it breaking after they tried to use a dolley to carry the entire thing to fit into a tiny elevator. it obviously, completely toppled over and broke indefinitely. .

    Advertised budget pricing, escalating fees, no security, and unannounced disposal of high‑value property I contracted with Flex Storage on April30, 2024, after receiving a verbal quote of roughly $40 per month. Their marketing also promised GPS‑tracked units and a complimentary high‑security lock. Billing concerns: My first invoice was already several times higher than the quoted rate. Over the next ten months, the monthly charge continued to rise, ending up at five‑ to six‑times the price I agreed to. I emailed repeatedly--asking why the rate kept increasing, requesting a copy of my contract, and confirming whether my unit was secured. No replies. Security concerns: When the unit was delivered, the driver stated they were "outoflocks" and that one would be provided later. I had to wait 4 hours because the driver was late to pick up the unit after we loaded the stuff. I called and emailed Flex for 2 months--received no answer to phone calls or emails. They never confirmed my unit had a lock on it. In fact, when referring to payments on my unit, they referred to it via email as "unit XXXX," highlighting their incompetency and inability to even properly locate my unit number. I repeatedly emailed them asking where my unit was located. They advertise every unit is GPS‑secured and only the owner has the key, and that if it's ever moved or opened, the owner would be notified immediately by GPS. Yet I never got that lock, nor any GPS information, rendering me helpless and stuck paying monthly for a storage unit I didn't even know was located--or if it even had my items still in it. When I called them, they switched up the dates on when my unit was "trashed." Their emails referenced the wrong unit number, and they ignored multiple months' worth of emails asking if my items were locked and where the unit was located. Still to this day, after 10 months of payments, I've never received confirmation. I'm led to believe my items were never locked, never had GPS tracking, and likely were never even secured. If they had been, it seems like common sense that I would've received confirmation--especially since that's one of the main selling points they advertise. It never arrived. My items could have easily been stolen or "trashed" (aka re-sold for profit) by Flex Storage as early as May 2024, or anytime before March 3rd or March 19th--or whatever day they decided they threw it away (after only one failed billing attempt on February 28th, despite having paid May 1st to January 31st in full). I would have had no clue, and it would have made no noticeable difference to me, since I was left suspended and ghosted with no help and no response after multiple attempts to get in touch. As you can see from their own public listings, these people don't even have real employees outside of internal staff. All their drivers are independent contractors, and they post ads looking for drivers monthly. Look at their own driver reviews--they complain about mistreatment and low trust in the company. Flex isn't even a moving company. They're a vehicle trailer company that hires random freelancers to drop off trailers. Then they store the trailers on private property, don't lock your items, and your stuff ends up passing between random contractors and staff, without being secured. When you ask for driver or facility info, they say they can't provide it--or they just don't reply. Despite the marketing claims, I was given no GPS access and was never told which facility held my unit. Collections pressure: After I blocked my card to challenge the unexplained charges, I received demands for payment from a "collections department" with generic contact details that I could not verify. To protect my belongings, I continued paying their inflated invoices for ten months. Unnotified disposal: I blocked my card again on February28, 2025; Flex attempted another charge that same day. During an in-person visit in mid-April, staff informed me that my unit had been "trashed" on March3, 2025. In the same call, a manager revised the date to March19, 2025. That call is transcribed. I received no lien, auction, or disposal notice by phone, email, or mail--despite Flex having my current contact information. Property loss: The unit contained high‑value designer goods, artwork, studio equipment, jewelry, electronics, and custom lighting, collectively worth over $56,000. I have filed a police report and initiated civil proceedings for breach of contract, deceptive practices, and civil theft. Based on these documented issues--escalating fees, lack of security, unresponsive support, and disposal without notice--I absolutely cannot recommend Flex Storage.     I saw a Flex unit in my brother's neighborhood, so I snapped a pic to remember the name (as we were actively preparing to move). We looked them up on here (Yelp) and saw several negative reviews. That's when we became a little skeptical. However, we found ourselves in a bind for help at the last last minute and they were available. Turns out they were actually really efficient. They were on time and helped us move much quicker than we expected. They were a little pricier than other companies, but the experience and the quick fix made that worth it. I'm a big yelp user and check business pages here all the time. I'm not crazy about writing reviews, but this one seems necessary! I feel like there are probably other people out there, that were maybe busy (with moving) and didn't write about their good experience with these fellas...so - the disgruntled people maybe weigh in heavier than they otherwise would. We're happy with our experience.

    I never received my deposit, even though the company canceled my move. Check the Better Business Bureau reviews before trusting them.

    Flex Moving and Storage canceled my move due to labor issues and never refunded my deposit. They will send you a false email like this. I recommend checking their record on the Better Business Bureau before booking with them.

The thing that gets me is that they raise the prices at the beginning of the year and the only way I have found to counter that is to move your stuff to another bay..and who wants to do that?

    I've had several issues with this location and management has failed to do anything about them even…read morethough there have been multiple complaints from other units. There are people living there inside their units, and take up the walkway with their things. There have been people smoking inside their units, causing the entire floor to stink. We found a roll of duct tape thrown on the top of the wired fence ceiling of our unit with a loop at the end of it. It's just not a safe feeling environment. I just went to the office and was kicked out by Sonia because she had to go to lunch. It was 4:42pm and there was another lady inside the office as well. Update (answer to Cube Smart's reply): I brought the issue of people living there to the attention of on-site personnel. I did this more than a couple of times on several occasions more than two months ago. Their last answer was that other people had been complaining about the same issue and had brought it up to management, but they responded that they were being accused of racism and therefore would not do anything about the issue. I don't have the time to help run cube smart and I am paying for cubesmart's services, not the other way around. All it takes is for someone to review the cameras for the last few months to see what is happening...but apparently they don't want to do anything about it. I will not waste any more of my time communicating with them. I have put in my cancellation of my unit and have contracted another unit from another company.
