They are professional, friendly and most welcoming. Dr Yuen was kind, gentle, considerate and generous with his time. He explained what was going on in detail and asked if I had any questions or concerns he could further address. He also referred me to a specialist and when he received a message I left advising him that the specialist could not see me on a timely manner he called me personally to recommend a different doctor and to reassure me this new specialist was also excellent in his field. Of note, I made the appointment with Dr Yuen, because after asking a couple of folks around the neighborhood what dentist they saw they answered 'Dr Yuen' and described him the same as I am now describing him to you. Over the course of 2+ years I have had I had two molars extracted, two bone grafts and 2 implants. Dr. Hilmi took time to explain everything to me and patiently answered every question I had. He takes great pride in his work and it really shows. The operations are relatively painless and the end results are amazing. Dr. Hilmi and his staff are kind and empathetic and offer excellent care with gentle, supportive, non-judgemental interactions with patients. Pine Street Dental is located inside a multi-use medical building in Kingston, NY. The moment you walk in, you notice the spotless environment and that same level of cleanliness, carries right into the dental office itself. He asked a question and I started to answer and he put a gloved hand right up in front of my face! He wanted my daughter to answer, but I didn't know that. Her braces were on for about 28 months. Too long in my book, for teeth that were not horribly crooked to begin with. Mostly just a space between the front upper teeth. He is only available on Thursdays and is usually booked, so if you miss your appointment or have to cancel, you may be waiting an additional 6 weeks from the original appt. Forget it if you want to pop in because something is hurting your child or something breaks! He also can not take questions. He becomes very rude and rough. Rude to me, rough on her. Was there yesterday and my daughter said she felt sorry for me because he was being so rude to me when I politely asked a question about her front teeth continuing to spread out and a bottom tooth that is sticking out and causes her to bite inside her lip. He pretty much said we were lying about it, without using the "L" word. Would never recommend him to anyone! Used Dr. VanVliet for my son (he was so good) and although he was out of network, it didn't cost that much more and it was worth every penny!!
