No, Jet Rag ;) This super cool secondhand store off La Brea Avenue on the cusp of the FairFax, Melrose, Hancock Park, Hollywood and West Hollywood neighborhoods is a very cool find. Was only a few days old when I discovered their weekly every Sunday $1 sales - definitely coming back for one of those. Popped in on a good recommend from my friend Grizzly (Grizz for short), who is becoming some what of a regular. I did discover some amazing boots, hats, shirts, caps, hankies, ties and various finds. I will some some things surprised me in terms of price. While a quality tie in premium condition should be of a certain range I certainly did not expect one to be $24 dollars. Maybe half that amount or a good $9 to $10 less. Not the best a full figured, plus size, thick person variety. Though I did find some great 2X items I'd double back for. I'm a size 13 shoe, so a bit limited here too. Service is phenomenal. Security, helpful as well as personable. Parking is pretty much street as the lot is the bare minimum of parking lots. And their lot on Sundays is used for their big sale. It's mostly street metered in the area or a short metro ride over depending on the direct you're coming from. Tons of women's, men's, youth/kid, teen and various styles for all. As well as open to all. Explore the upstairs as well! They do ask that you leave your bag at the register where the will keep an eye on it on their nicely displayed shelves for bags and belongings of all sizes. Lots of groovy glasses, accessories and even complimentary Wi-Fi. Stop in from 11 AM til 730 PM seven days a week, or until 7PM on Sunday only.

During the event, a few of us were near the storefront, and the owner came out and told us we were not allowed to be on or near the property. What surprised me was that there were no customers inside at the time, so the interaction felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Instead of seeing it as an opportunity to introduce people to the store, the approach was abrupt and dismissive. The tone alone made the situation uncomfortable. I understand everyone can have an off day, but the way we were spoken to felt disrespectful. I was also surprised by the pricing. Many items seemed extremely marked up, in some cases appearing higher than their original retail value, which defeats the purpose of shopping somewhere associated with deals. After reading other reviews, I'm confused because they don't reflect the experience I had. I'll be attending another event nearby soon, but honestly, I'm anxious about returning because of how we were treated. There are many other businesses in the area that offer both competitive pricing and welcoming customer service, and I would personally choose to support those instead.

Uri, who was my buyer, was very helpful, professional and super chill. He gave me so much time and looked over everything while explaining the pricing versus what wasteland could resell. It helped me make decisions that were best for me. He ended up buying a lot of really great pieces for a fair price, which made it worth the trip. Plus he was so nice and helped make the experience fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend.

There's usually parking out front if there aren't people vending outside. The staff is also really nice as well. They had a really great selection of clearance items as well, and the dressing rooms were able to use.

Returns can be slow. One time there was a lady buying 3 + bags of clothes so super long wait. And…read morethen next to her another lady returning a full bag. It's possible they are stylists buying or returning stock. They should have some kind of rule for buying or returning in bulk because the wait times can be ridiculous. I've never been greeted here since most staff are stuck at the registers.
