The best thrift store in LA!
    Ivy E.

I came here with my friend on another friend's recommendation and am thrilled at the great deals one can find! . On Sundays they set up small piles outside the store where all items are one dollar and it's cash only. I sifted through the different piles of clothes and found black pleated pants, a coat, a green and cream printed scarf and a couple other one of a kind finds. I was short one dollar for the six pieces I picked up and the gentleman that was running the outside booth let me have the 6th piece for free! . Inside the store is definitely more pricey, but rightfully so. Everything is organized by item. Any and everyone can find clothing that aligns with their style here. If you're looking to be bougie on a budget, Jet Rag is the place to do so!

Huge selection for both men and women. Make a trip there for a special occasion dress, cool fall jacket or mens dress shoes. You'll find me downstairs (yes multiple levels) picking out a vintage 2 piece women's suit. No returns.

I went in yesterday looking for specific items! I was a little overwhelmed & couldn't decide what I wanted! Yoshi at the register was extremely kind, & patient! Answered every single question, & helped me curate some pieces for my brand! Thank you so much!

Super cool vintage store with a vast variety. Once you walk in you are taken to another place entirely! There is so much in here! I really like how organized this store is not only by garment but also by decade! Prices are clearly marked and in all honestly are fairly reasonable. Many places i have been to are very picky about trying on the clothes but here you are more than welcomed to. The store itself is two floors and has items ranging from accessories, shoes, dresses to jackets, shirts and military items. When you come here be prepared to take the time and really look at the items they have. Super neat store and super cool to see how fashion has changed over the decade. On sundays (with good weather) they also have a $1 pile sale! I'm not sure what type of items they have there but i'm sure one can find something they like or at least have some fun searching!

First time visiting Jet Rag, checking out their Sunday $1 sale. Found a couple great vintage finds - beaded jackets and dresses, silk blouses, styles from the 70's & 80's. You have to dig to find the good stuff but that's to be expected at thift stores. Get there early to get first pick - expect a larger crowd, there are some serious thrifters who mostly likely are flipping them.

Giant piles of 99 cent items at Jetrag.

Cool spot, they still have $1 Sundays in the parking lot area. You just need to be creative and patient when searching for you extra gem.

The store is run very efficiently for consignors as well -- I've consigned many men's designer that have sold quickly here. I'd say it's easier to find nice designer womenswear. Men's designer is harder to find, but at times you'l get lucky with designer menswear.

They took my phone number and said they would call when they found the match. I gave them my number and about a week later, they called and had found the match. I returned and bought it. Don't let this tiny little store…read more- located in a tiny little corner of Little Tokyo - fool you: It's like a treasure trove of rare finds. I've been on a huge vintage kick lately, so this store has been my go-to source for old tees. My reasons for going vintage are primarily environmental since the carbon footprint and resources needed to make new clothes are substantial - and incredibly wasteful when there's so much awesome used clothing out there. Another reason: Your friends can't copy your style. Most recently, I picked up a few tees from the 1970s and 80s. Being in L.A. they get a lot of local and California vintage shirts with logos, designs, and jokes that only true Californians would get. I couldn't resist buying a Castroville "Giant Artichoke" tee they had over the summer. Personally, I tend to gravitate towards regional finds like these because they bring back such great memories of my youth and of family road trips up and down my home state. They also carry old college (Go Bears!), high school, and everyone's favorite - summer camp tees. Plus, you cannot beat the vintage fit from the 70s/80s. Caveat: Today's "S" is equivalent to an "M" or bigger because people were presumably thinner back then. So do your part for the environment and look effortlessly stylish doing it by shopping used and vintage! And there's no better place in L.A. for this than Raggedy Threads.
