At the time of writing this review, it had been 3 years since my family's last visit and, this time around, we had more fun than we did last time. Seeing the museum do so well after the lockdowns over the previous few years really made me smile. There is a lot for the kids to do here. Whether your child is a scientist in the making, a musician, or someone that likes to have a good time, there is something here for everyone. Try to plan your visit during a good weather day so you can go outside and have fun in the garden. The back exhibit was closed to construction when we went but we will go back in a month to see the new theme. This museum is a pearl in the city of Flint and is well worth your time to make a visit. Afterward, stop in a local restaurant to get some food.

Great museum for small children! There is a lot jam packed in a small building. We could've stayed longer than the hour - hour and a half we visited but we had already seen each exhibit and our youngest was getting cranky and in need of a nap. They have a room for parties. They have two small tables to eating, a water cooler, and hand sanitizer. There is a glider for nursing mamas behind a curtain but it's not really out of the way of anything / very private. It's still a nice gesture. We visited thanks to a gifted Groupon and will be back again if there's another Groupon, but probably wouldn't bother making the long drive for full price.

This place is absolutely adorable. It is geared towards smaller kids as there is a lot of imagination play. It was only $6 to get in and I found them on Groupon. This is the only museum I have found that had an outdoor hands-on exhibit. It was an hour drive for us and I definitely plan on returning!

As the name states it is a very hands on museum. Lots of interactive exhibits for kids to learn and play. It was busy on the day we went. We were there for about 2 hours and did not do the upper two levels. Also no food or snacks available there so have to leave with your kids and come back if they get hungry.

We got to see play and do so MANY things all active and the girls loved the play areas ...all of them. The bathrooms were clean and strategically placed...I was pleasantly surprised. The parking is somewhat close....& I liked the exercise...our girls napped so hard after the visit. I am in firm belief that the overall planning and logistics of this place are professionally done & handled well! This venue is a must visit if in the area and you like hands on action. The girls had a blast and that is what matters most!! 10/10 times I will return.. for the price I paid... I could see myself doing this again with a longer stay in the area! Sidenote the people in guest service station were super awesome... All workers that interacted with our family had smiles on their faces and were so helpful. ***Especially since we had Museum Pass in another state (Oklahoma City) and they participate in the reciprocating membership deal. I still paid for 2 full price even though I figured it should have be the cheaper ... But it was interpreted wrong I guess by me within 90 mile... I feel for the price I paid...it eas kinda worth it. We will return! *Questions reach out* Respectfully, Bryan and Family Oklahoma City

I was there December 30, 2022 for the first time in the new place and boy were we amazed! So glad they finally finished getting it done. Going to the one in the mall in Burton wasn't cutting it anymore the older my step-son was getting. He is 10 now. Taking him to the new place, he LOVED IT! So did we!! Pretty sure we were there over 2 hours.....could've spent more time there but we caught a show at the planetarium so we had to be there on time. Will review that next. There was a lot of hands-on activities, and it was busy when we went, so I'm sure holiday breaks will always be busy. It's spread out pretty good though and if you need a break to sit, there's a large room for coloring and doing crafty things. A lot of kids were enjoying that. The huge waterfall feature with a river(?) was a HUGE hit. Tons of kids around that and they even have some rain jackets or something like that for little kids to put on as you can get very wet from this activity. There's also playscape's on different levels that had a learning twist to it. They made a neighborhood-yes, a whole neighborhood! You can go in a market, a post office, different places to learn about for young ones especially. The place is big with areas to grow and they do a-lot of events, summer camps, plenty to do here if your close enough to be involved. The car area was very spread out-I'm wondering what they will add to that if anything down the road. I have never had any problems with any staff that work for Sloan, they are always friendly and knowledgeable. They have raised their prices from what it was a year ago, but I believe this is a great addition to the area and they will use the money wisely as they grow. It's nice that you can walk around on this street to the planetarium or even the art gallery across the street. Good job!
