I want shopping for my sister-in-laws birthday party, when I needed to stop and eat. I saw "Flippin Buns" before and thought, a new Yelp would be nice. So I made the drive. For better parking, use the back of the store. The front looked good. Inside was average size. There were some crumbs on the table, but I did see someone go clean it up. At the counter, I ordered with the friendly lady. The price was good, but I quickly realized it was without fries. I asked the employee why she didn't mention that, she apologized. I sat down and waited for my food, it came pretty quick. I almost forgot dipping sauce for my fries, and she gave me their special sauce. I now am dependent on the sauce. It was that good. It made average fries taste incredible. The burger however was great! I really enjoyed its flavor. I definitely will go back. I just hope next time, they offer combos, to make things easier.

Checked out Flippin Buns and was welcomed by the a clean interior and efficient customer service. I went for the green kick burger. Came out hot and fast. Immediate I indulged and it was a decent burger. Crispy edges and soft. The patties were flavored and the jalapeños are well rationed throughout. Overall, I was pleased with my selection and I definitely will be back when I'm in the area. Highly recommended.

Flippin Buns in Hicksville NY on Broadway in the new shopping center has to date a soft opening. (See pix) I found what I bought to be expensive for what I got. A one patty burger on a roll with tiny chopped onions with small slice of pickle. You can get their sauce but the girl wasn't able to tell me what kind of sauce it is or what's in it. I opted for ketchup which was given to me in 5 little sqeeze packs. The burger had little taste. Also, there was cheese on the burger and I didn't order it. The girl told me all of them come that way. Odd, since their sign says nothing about cheese. The fries were thin sliced standard for 2 items total 11.95 given in a bag. The room is a clean little square with 2 metal small tables and chairs. A Doordash sign is on the door. Clearly a takeout place. For me, with much competition nearby I plan to go to other places .

Burgers are very good and the fries are hot and crispy and not overly salty, thank you.

Since we were dining in, they gave us a table number and we placed it in the holder so staff know where to bring the food. Our order didn't take very long to arrive to our table, just about 10 minutes. After finishing your meal, you bus your own table. The menu has options for burgers, hot dogs, fries, salads, shakes, floats, and desserts. I ordered a Yellow Label Burger ($13.45) and a Strawberry shake ($6.75). My husband and I shared a Farm Salad ($9.75). The Yellow Label Burger comprises of USDA Prime Beef, homemade fried mac n cheese patty, lettuce, tomato on a potato bun. This was delicious! I liked how after biting into the crispy, breaded exterior it gives way to a hot, molten cheese center that oozes perfectly over beef. The Farm Salad which consisted of spring mix, tomato, blue cheese crumbles, sliced almonds, dried cranberries, and raspberry vinaigrette on the side was also very very very tasty, fresh, and a good portion. The strawberry shake was also very good and had pieces of strawberries. Black Label Burgers pride on only using USDA Prime Angus beef that comes from a single source, Double R Ranch, located in Washington State, a family-owned farm known for its responsible practices and superior beef. You can definitely taste the richness and juiciness of the beef. My husband had the Red Label Burger ($13.25) and the PB&J shake ($7.75). He really enjoyed his meal as well. I really liked the inside decor and the laid back vibes. Black Label Burgers is great for a quick lunch, a night out with friends, or a family dinner. I am looking forward to my next visit.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and the place was busy, always a good sign. I liked the local (Long Island) themed decor, friendly service, spacious parking lot, wide variety of self-serve beverages (tangy lemonade - yay!) and nicely padded booths. Definitely a cut above competitors like Shake Shack in that regard. I chose the signature black label burger made with dry aged beef and regular fries. While the hand cut fries were wonderfully crispy and flavorful, the burger was kind of disappointing - not terrible, but the bun tasted stale and the meat was very bland. Also I ordered the burger cooked medium but it came out pink in the center, not my preference for chopped meat. Maybe I ordered the wrong item? I plan to try other menu items in the future to see if they hit my taste buds differently.
