I pass by here all the time and it always caught my eye. The urge to just go in and check this place out finally reached its peak and in I went. I immediately was greeted and was given a menu. I settled on a salmon burger, onion rings, and a cheesecake dessert. While waiting I noticed the ambiance was pretty casual as was to be expected by the name of the place. It's well kept and orderly and the associates are super nice. I was really appreciative with how they assisted me with figuring out what I wanted to eat by giving recommendations ( I really love that). The food took a bit of time but it was to be expected as everything was fresh and I didn't mind checking a YouTube vid out or two while I waited. When the food arrived it was great I enjoyed every bit of it. I would definitely recommend this place as a place to get a good bite to eat after the movies or hanging out at the mall. The bigger infraction for me was that the brioche bun was a glorified whitebread bun that was way too voluminous and dense. Fries: Exceptional. Home-made and hand-cut. Mid-range thickness (neither shoestring nor steak fry), and browned just enough to be just crisp enough, with some droop too. Note that the side orders are very large and shareable. Onion Rings: Also claimed to be home-made and hand-cut, these were thin rings with a crunchy beer batter that didn't drift into puffy. I wouldn't bet my life they were made on site, but good for what they were. Go for the fries instead. Sweet Potato Fries: Similar characteristics to the regular fries, with a natural sweet potato flavor, not processed. Good stuff. Boneless Buffalo Wings: Meh. Service: Seemed that the servers tag teamed the tables, taking turns with various aspects. 1st time eating there, I really thought it would have been better. My wife had the Village Burger, I had the Bison with seasoned fries. No joke, these burgers were HORRRRIBLE. I only ate 2 bites, and couldnt bring myself to have anymore. The meats are organic, grass-fed, all-natural - all the good stuff ya know. There's also a variety of exotic meats like bison, boar, and ostrich as well as plenty of vegan burger options. You get to choose what protein you want, and then any signature pair which is basically the toppings. There are recommended topping pairings for certain proteins but you can choose any! If you don't want their signature pairings, you can also stick to the basic toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles) and any cheese. We got the village boar burger and village bison burger. Both burgers weren't gamey and tasted great! The bison was closer to a beefy taste while the boar tasted a bit like chicken/turkey. Loved the soft brioche bun that it came on! The boneless buffalo wings I thought were delicious, and I am a boneless buffalo wing connoisseur. I would definitely return back here for their wings and buttermilk ranch. The waffle fries were also good and crunchy. I also thought the beef burger was good, and cooked correct, not amazing, but I would have again. My partner had the fried pickles and smash burger with everything on it. Which was alright. The smash burger was good, also not amazing because of it falling apart but nothing substantially negative to say. The reason why I'm giving this 4/5 stars and not 5 is because we ordered a coke, but received something that tasted like root beer. I recognized what it was after seeing their fountain soda options. The burgers here are really cool. There's a ton of specialty meats and choices. You don't have to be a meat eater to enjoy the food here which is cool. But I am so obv all the meat for me haha. The service was great, our sever was super sweet and attentive and gave awesome recommendations as well. I was here during the holidays so the festive decorations and lights were a nice treat. You can def come here for a date night or a beer and wings with sports playin too. Plenty of space in the parking lot as well. There's a location in Hicksville which is where I went and one in Farmingdale. I went here with a friend for dinner recently and I was disappointed. We ordered the "Loaded" Nachos for an appetizer. It looked like they just threw some tortilla chips in a bowl with some cheese on top. There wasn't any meat or sour cream on it. For $11 I expect more. If you want good Loaded Nachos, go to Buffalo Wild Wings instead. For my entree, I ordered the Bison Burger. It was just ok, nothing special. Also I think it's kind of crazy that the burgers don't come with fries as part of the meal and you have to order it separately. Also, I wish they had more booths. I wanted to sit at a booth but the waitress told me it was reserved which is fine, just slightly annoying. I also would've liked it if they could've changed the channel for me. If a dumb person works here, that's the Burger Village Idiot. I've only eaten here once, but I liked it. This is a pretty handy burger stand inside the massive Broadway Commons Mall, and while this Mall is popular, it doesn't have a lot of great food, although it does have some good bubble tea (KFT). So my issue with this place is simply that it's a little pricey, but the taste is actually pretty good, especially for Mall food court standards, and I'm definitely a fan. We walked into a nice cozy place. We got the lamb burger with California Mystery and Grilled chicken sandwich with signature side. If you check in on yelp, you get a free side of fries per table. The Lamb burger paired with California mystery is definitely my favorite and I'm going to keep coming back for it! My husband got the chicken sandwich and he said he liked it, it was ok for me. She was super friendly, helpful, and overall one of the best servers I have had. She definitely made the experience a lot more wonderful! Burger Village is a definite go to and return to location. Where to begin. First off you are greeted as you come in the door, I find that very welcoming. It wasn't a forced , I'm doing it because they say so greeting either. It came across as genuine. We were seated within minutes of walking in. Our server Aastha was so nice. She also welcomed us as we sat at the table and helped us navigate the menu as first time customers. She answered all of our questions and regularly checked in on us during our visit. The menu suits our family as my wife is vegan and the rest of us are carnivores. Her loss... With that said, she had the Black Bean burger and fried pickles. All of which she says were really good. My daughter, son and I all had beef burgers with fries and onion rings. Everything was so tasty and flavorful. The burger was prepared to my liking and I opted for the seasoned fries which were seasoned just right, not to heavy and not to lightly. The side sauces just bring everything together. They have these nice little square shaped jars for your drinks that as my daughter described are "cute". Oh annnnnd.... they have TVs with the Knicks game on. Extra points just for that.
