Ironically, I've been here a handful of times and have never seen a movie here. I've always come by just to grab a beer. Some beers are better than others but overall the beers are solid. My girlfriend and I normally go to Cinemark since we have the movie club membership but my nephew was having his 3rd birthday party here so it was our first time here! If you have been to Alamo Drafthouse or any other sit in eating restaurant, it's very similar! When we arrived, we were greeted by my nephew Lincoln's party host! I don't remember her name but it was whoever was doing the Lillebo's party for Sing 2)! She was awesome! She always made sure we had enough to drink and that the party was going smooth! She was definitely hustling! The theatre is very nice and very clean! The pizza was and I have eaten pizza at many places and this one was good...even my picky 4 year old nephew at the whole thing! My other nephew (the birthday boy) and my niece (his sister) looked like they loved everything as well! I absolutely loved this theater! Came to see Star Wars: The Rise of the Skywalker. Great experience. Prompt service and the special galatic empire potato chips were great. The seats were comfy and tables are adjustable. Plenty of space for all your food lol! It can be a little pricey, so beware of what you order. 18% gratuity included, but can be removed on request. The service and theater experience was excellent at Flix! We enjoyed coming for a variety of reasons. However, there were two things I didn't like. 1. They only had a choice of one movie, "It 2." I know that they just opened so I didn't worry about it too much. I'm not really a fan of scary movies. 2. They automatically charge 18 percent gratuity. I tip very well if good service is there. I don't think a tip should automatically be expected. A tip is something that's earned. This is coming from someone who's worked in the service industry. I really wanted to come and eat here. I had the Hatch burger with fries and it was very good. I asked for the burger to be cooked well done and they did it. The burger and fries were both well seasoned. It wasn't that spicy but it tasted good. I got pretty full from the meal. My boyfriend had wings and he liked them. With our sodas and food, the total was $36 and change. The tickets were $19 and change. I feel that it was an OK price for both. It's about the same cost as other theaters and/or going out to dinner. The best thing about the entire experience were the seats. Man! They're leather and super comfy! They go back pretty far which is great for me! Flix also offers a variety of beer, wine and mixed drinks. Aside from the entrees, they also have appetizers, popcorn, desserts and candy. I was interested in trying their chocolate tuxedo cake but I got too full. We didn't have alcohol tonight. I'm sure we will in the future. I highly recommend Flix! It did not disappoint. I ended up going to the Flix two nights, one for a soft opening, and the second for the official opening for the showing of It: Chapter 2. Off the bat, they already beat out the Alamo Drafthouse in my book and if they show limited movies like the Drafthouse I don't think I would ever return to the Drafthouse. Although even though their officially open, they actually haven't completed the entire construction of the place, so there are still some surprises to come. For example, you can see that they're currently working on their outdoor area. First thing I have to point out because this is something people in El Paso will not like is the automatic 18% gratuity. I don't mind it but I can definitely see this being a deal-breaker for some. Off the bat walking in the Flix Brewhouse has a beautiful bar with an amazing selection of brewed beers and cocktails. I immediately felt that the bartenders here were better than the bartenders at the Alamo Drafthouse when it came to their mixed drinks. Upon my visit with family and friends, we tried a number of things the Flix Golden Ale, Nebulas Hazy IPA, and a few of their signature cocktails and just a standard margarita. I forgot to take a picture of the cocktail list so I don't remember our favorites but we loved them all. We had all of our drinks at one of the tables near the bar and decided we would order our food in the theater. Upon entering the theater I already loved the look of the tables and seats, although if you get stuck in the first row, it's very close to the screen compared to the drafthouse and Cinemark. I wouldn't recommend it unless you love sitting up that close. The Flix has reclining seats and is way more comfortable than the Alamo Drafthouse. Those seats, unfortunately, do not go well with my back. These seats, however, are pretty comfy, although Cinemark West still beats them because I love how far back they recline compared to all the theatres in El Paso. What's amazing about the Flix though is the design of their tables, you can move them towards you or away from you for your comfort. Combining both visits we ordered the Hawaiian Tuna Poke, Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Jalapenos, Beyond Burger, Philly Cheesesteak Pizza, Cuban Medianoche Sandwich, Blueberry Cobbler Cheesecake, and warm cookies. Let me tell you we enjoyed everything especially the Hawaiian Tuna Poke, Philly Cheesesteak Pizza, Cuban Medianoche Sandwich, and the Blueberry Cobbler Cheesecake. My friend and I were torn about the Beyond Burger. I loved it, but at first bite, I really didn't enjoy it but as I ate more it became really tasty. It is not the end-all replacement of meat, but I was surprised how much I liked it. My friend who is currently trying to eat healthily, and avoiding meat, she really didn't like it. The cheesecake was amazing and just melted in your mouth. I was shocked about the cookies because they were some of the best cookies I have ever smelled, but in the end, my brother and I found them pretty disappointing. I think they would have been good but were cooked for too long. Final summary, I love the Flix Brewhouse and can definitely see myself going here when I want to have a delicious brew with my movie or some pretty excellent food. However, Cinemark West is still going to be my go-to theatre, but if the Flix Brewhouse brings in Anime and Limited Internation movies, and cult classics like the Alamo Drafthouse does, instantly that is the end of the Alamo Drafthouse for me. I forgot to share that the staff is excellent, explained how everything was going to work and answered all the questions I had. Basically the same as the Alamo Drafthouse but I love how quick they are to responding and love that they have a call button you can press. It can be hard to see a little slip of paper at times, so the call button is a game-changer. I had no problem with it but my friend did say it was a little bright and might disturb other tables experiences. read more

Let me start of by saying this place is expensive AF! On total tonight I spent $106 for dinner and movie tickets. 2 beers 1 Long Island Potato skins A cheese burger A pizza And a slice of cake All turned out to be $90 on top of the $16 for tickets. We normally spend half of that when we go out to eat period. But what I can say is that the food was absolutely delicious my husband enjoyed the beers and the service was good as well. Although the movie was less than what I expected I can definitely say that we would return. The atmosphere is welcoming, the reclining seats are comfy and as I've already stated the food was great. This definitely isn't a place where I would come regularly. I mean my husband and I spend about $80 a month going to the movies closer to home. But it will definitely be put on the date night list. I also didn't like the automatic 18% tip they added and they did state we could say something but I just didn't want to seem cheap so I just left it, but I do think they should give the customers the option to put their own tip. We went to Flix yesterday for the first time. We truly enjoyed everything about it. If I had to complain,,,,, 1. The coolness of the theaters were too cold for my wife. 2. The service was EXCELLENT, except they automatically charge 18 percent gratuity. In our case I would have given them more because their service was outstanding!! But no choice was given. I also noticed, the receipt shows your Tip Guide options (15%, 18%, 20%) but you don't get an option but just their mandatory 18%. I'm a strong believer that a gratuity is your choice and everything depends on their service. This sends a bad message to all that if they're good in service or bad, they get the same amount. Let me start with the positive first: it's clean, friendly staff, it's close to home, seats recline, popcorn is ok. Negative: overpriced, food took forever, warm beer (I expected that to be on point since it is a "Brewhouse" right? ), 18% gratuity. I understand the establishment is on the west side and the SES in this area is high; simple economics right? Well, not everyone is willing to pay high prices, 18% established gratuity for warm beer and cold food. I'm willing to pay good money for good food and service any day. I didn't find that here. Pretty cool place and the service was adequate. You can eat dinner here before the movie or during the movie. The seats are super comfortable and you can recline all the way back. I also enjoyed the moving tables that sit in front of you because you can push it back and forth to your comfort. I also liked the size of drink you get and the popcorn was good as well. They do add 18% gratuity on the check though so just be aware of that. They did take a while to get us our drinks and popcorn but I'm assuming the kitchen is a bit always from some theaters. read more

Went to see Downton Abbey the movie this weekend. We really enjoyed the table service inside of our movie theatre. What a fun concept. The reclining leather chairs were very comfortable and the adjusting table tops were perfect for eating, or just for having a cocktail or beer. Our server was polite and friendly and explained how everything worked since this was our first time there. We got brunch foods because we saw an early showing; the food was good, but I think we will go in the evening next time so we can try something off of their dinner menu. They seem to have a really large variety of beers on tap, if you'd like a beer during your movie; they will bring it straight to your seat. Now that's service! We will definitely be back!! read more

My first time here. They featured Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets! and also had "Dobby's Magic Queso" & "Butterbeer" which I couldn't resist for a date night! It was Wednesday and tickets were $7.00 it was awesome because the theatre was not packed at all. Staff was great and I loved how smooth everything went! The food wasn't really warm so I think I'll just stick with eating before coming and just getting popcorn next time if there is another next time. Cinemark popcorn still better. Hopefully they will feature more Harry Potter movies! If they do, I'll be back for sure. The butterbeer was delish! I wanted a 2nd one so bad. read more

Well we went in there to see a movie and the ambience is nice and we like the seats but right off the bat they screwed up our drink order they gave my wife tequila and tonic instead of vodka and tonic which is what she ordered. They gave me a margarita with salt when I ordered without salt took a half hour for them to fix that for bullshit service.is there such a thing no there to fix that and then they automatically even if it's two people tack on at 18% gratuity which I think is outrageous because the gratuity is for service above and beyond whereas this is just need your automatic gratuity for whatever it's horrible. read more

I really enjoyed the environment and quality of the sound system and movie image. Disappointed in the 18% gratuity automatically added to the bill (I failed to notice it so I overtipped....I'm not alone on this). Popcorn was above average. The soft drink was a disappointment. Rootbeer served in a pint glass. No ice. Rootbeer cost $3.95, plus surcharge of $1.25 for "ImperialPt". It was explained to me the glass of rootbeer was a larger glass. Really....1 pint is a larger glass???? Is a regular rootbeer in a specimen cup? I'm going to try again. Next time I want to sample the beer and happy hour. Hopeful.... read more

Absolutely love the seats at this theater. The food is actually pretty good, however I did have to wait twenty minutes for a sprite which I thought was a bit ridiculous. The seats and food make it worth it, my recommendations for food are the pizzas and the wings. The wings are full of flavor and pretty underrated for a movie theater. The only thing that's keeping my review from being 5 starts is the wait times on drinks. This place will be a new favorite of mine though to watch movies. read more

Well we first went in and the area is very organized and has a lot of comfortable amenities. So me and my wife got a stool and sampled some of their wonderful beers. The reason I am giving 3stars is that the establishment tacks on 19% on top of the bill. If you want to remove the tip you have to bring the manager and they will determine to remove it or not. So, we really just went there because they were playing the movie we wanted to see at the time we needed it to be available. Also, we needed to unwind. This movie house completely surprised me. A+ for movie quality, A+ for the vegetarian food option, and A+ for the adult beverages. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it. Also, a HUGE shout out to the young man who walked up to us (as we were confused) and gave us a nice introduction to their movie experience. Wonderful host!!!!! The service people were a little flat and not that friendly...but the experience itself completely overpowered that slight negative. (Also. Worst experience ever, went to go watch the Harry Potter half blood prince, movie turned off 20 minutes in, the manager came in and told us we would get a free pass, we'll 30 minutes in and still nothing. My husband and I asked for our tab we payed our food and then we asked for a refund, the manager very rudely said "the pass is your refund" No that is not, and we said we want our money back for a movie we didn't watch she took the passes back and said oh we'll go get the refund in the front. The manager's attitude towards us asking for a refund was very rude and unprofessional.
