I don't even know where to begin with how much we loved Flo Ny Events. They do so much more than create gorgeous floral arrangements - they are creative partners from start to finish, helping you bring to life the perfect event. Caroline was available for countless calls, emails, and site visits and had a great eye for picking flowers and decor to complement our vintage-chic venue. We had some ambitious ideas for our wedding, including hundreds of candles and globe lights in the dining room and 12-foot whimsical balloon pillars outside the venue. Stacy, Caroline, and team completely embraced the ideas and knew just how to execute them. When the branches we wanted to use as ceremony decor were suddenly unavailable due to weather conditions, the team came up with a unique idea we loved even more - huge white balloons with floral strings. They looked incredible in the space and we ended up using them as the backdrop for our family portraits. Flo Ny is an incredibly talented, professional team who are an absolute joy to work with. I was planning a large scale bridal shower for a friend in New York and knew I didn't have time to make it back and forth from Las Vegas. I definitely needed reliable legs in NY. One of the bridesmaids had used FLO before and recommended I call for floral design and event decor. I worked with Stacy who was amazing! She is super friendly and accommodating considering we had to figure everything out over the phone and via e-mail. She sent me several sample pictures of arrangements that were in the style and price range I wanted. Stacy and her team are amazing! I held my wedding at Public in Nolita and FLO NY is their florist already so it made sense to me to use them for my wedding as well. From the initial emails to quick in-person meetings, Stacy and her team were sweet and helpful! I didn't have a bridal party so I only needed a few things--a bouquet, boutonniere, a small boutique for my flower girl, some flowers for my cake, and a stand alone table arrangement. I was very open in terms of what types of flowers I wanted--we shot a few ideas/images back and forth but essentially I left it up to her. The day of the wedding, the flowers arrived ahead of schedule and the bouquets placed in water to keep fresh. Was so happy with what they did! I needed a beautiful venue and a florist who could provide beautiful arrangements for my surprise proposal in NYC this December. Stacy exceeded my expectations!! Stacy is so friendly and easy to work with. She stopped by my Air BnB to pick-up very important items from the host for my surprise proposal set-up at her venue which was a decent drive! My proposal took place during the nighttime so Stacy provided TONS of candles! Flo NY was wonderful. We were recommended to them by our Vendor. They wrote back and called me immediately after I contacted them. Not only were they understanding to my budget and requests, they made better suggestions to fit those needs as well. We met with Stacy withing a week after contacting her and walked through the space and layout. Caroline followed up the week prior to ensure everything would run smoothly and came on the day of. We got married on the 14th of July, 2012. Tomorrow we will celebrate our One Year Wedding Anniversary! This year kept us very busy!!! Tonight I want to dedicate to finally give thanks and show our great appreciations to all who helped us to make Our Dream Wedding! Our wedding was a real life fairy tale!!! We remember every moment of it and always feel its magical touch. We did a thorough job looking for the best vendors and were very lucky to find the best ones! FLO NY Events proved themselves to the fullest and beyond! It was very easy and pleasant to work with them. They listened to us and put a very deep and beautiful thought to every detail. I had my bouquet made just the way I wished it to be: Princess Kate's bouquet was my inspiration for it. I chose garden and tea roses with flax flowers. All white and pure. FLO NY Events skillfully put a classic and romantic feeling to it but with modern influence. FLO NY Events made our experience very personal. Stacy herself came to Gramercy Hotel, where I was getting ready, to hand me my bouquet. When I saw my bouquet, I was very touched. It was made with heart and soul. That how I felt!!! I was gazing at my bouquet, at every flower, at every bud, at every petal... they were breathtakingly beautiful. I was mesmerized by the beauty of my bouquet! It showed my life, my feelings... it was ME!!! FLO NY Events further used the Royal Wedding as an inspiration for all of our designs: at the Cathedral and at the Reception. Early in July we noticed that our Cathedral was under renovation from the outside. We were not happy about it at first but to our surprise it turned out amazing. FLO NY Events came up with a wonderful idea: they hung a sheer fabric on the scaffolding outside the church to disguise the construction. So it was even a favor for us that they had a construction wall as construction site looked fantastic! As we both, Stacy and I, admit later: "Funny but the construction was a blessing in the end!" They put the sheer fabric on the steps outside too and it was put especially for us- the Bride and the Groom! It was like walking on the clouds!!! The Cathedral was beautifully decorated with white flowers inside and outside. Our Reception had indoor and outdoor spaces. Both were fabulously decorated. Our dinner tables had beautiful center pieces: classic whites and greens with peonies, hydrangea and flax flowers. They were chic and charmful. Triumphal candles gave a magical glim to our wedding atmosphere. We had two outstanding outdoor pieces: Mountain laurel brunch 'trees' with hydrangea, amaranthus and hanging candles. Our guests enjoyed taking pictures by them! We are very grateful to FLO NY Events for all the beautiful work they did for us!!! They are the best!!! The florist was the last vendor we hired for our wedding; the bride, groom, and parents all had different ideas for the flowers and we had a very hard time finding someone we liked. Stacy immediately impressed us with her friendliness, flexibility, and expertise, and we are so glad that we hired her.
