River did bring me some jam that I put on one half of the muffin but it did not sit well on my stomach due to the grease. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles. He did not care for either. I tasted his waffle and I too thought it was bland and dry. He said the chicken was greasy. It was a huge plate of food and he brought 2 of the 3 pieces of chicken home that we ended up throwing away. It was never really crowded which afforded us the opportunity to sit and visit for about 3 hours so that was ideal. The chicken and waffles (from the brunch menu) came with a buffet of pastry. 5 of our party had brunch items that came with the buffet and one one of them ate a muffin from that buffet. All brunch items were priced at $25. Again, I think a bit expensive for chicken and waffles. I doubt that I would ever go back but if I did it would be for coffee and maybe a pastry.
