Man this was an experience! When you come it is serine as it should be and open and welcoming. It is a no shoe facility to start your relaxation off right. There is a panel that immediately proceeds that with products that you can purchase for home. The waiting area is smallish but you do not need that when you are getting right back up. There are 2 big chairs that sit in front of the receptionist desk. After check in from you super nice host, you can watch the floating video if you have not watched it prior to understand how it works. Shortly after you are taken back to begin. I had never floated before but you shower and wash your body and hair completely and then you step in a lightly warm Epson salt bath. You get in and you float and the concept is to allow the water to warm up to your body temperature so you are one with the water and can full relax mind and body. I fell asleep HAHAHA it was dope. I will do that again. Now only downfall was the relaxation room was down so I had to just kind of sit on the window seal until it was time for my massage. It would have been nce to have the short tranquil moment but I am not picky. I also got an aromatherapy message from a GREAT set of hands young man and I cannot remember his damn!!!!! Ugh but he is super nice and great just ask the staff to look up my account for his name because he was perfect on the pressure. We conversed because I wanted to converse. I was able to pick 2 smells to combine in the sessions which was perfect form e because it set the tone right. He showed me how to stretch parts of my body that I was tight in as well as areas I felt I needed to stretch. Based on my massage he told me when I need to come back. I love the personal touch and the overall experience with this being my first time. The price was right especially for new clients. read more

I had been wanting to try float therapy for awhile now and while I was spending the holiday down in NC with family, my wife got me a holiday pass for a float session. The Floating Shanti had been recommended to me by my sister-in-law who frequents the location. I arrived about 15 minutes prior to my appointment which was for a 60 minute float. I was warmly greeted by the attendant, filled out a brief inquiry form and before I knew it I was getting the tour of the facility and an in-depth explanation of how to make the most of my session. You can actually visit their website and get the gist on what to do before, during, and after your session so I won't bore you with those details, however, I can tell you after my session, I felt amazing. Felt lighter on my feet, my senses somehow felt sharper (especially my eyesight), and just super relaxed. Not to mention, during the session, I had to have dozed off without realizing it because an hour did not feel like an hour! I enjoyed my session without music and without light, but, no fear, as you can hookup a device to play music and have ambient lighting while inside if you are creeped out by the dark and total silence. Between the amazing attention I got from the attendant to my float experience, I not only recommend float therapy but I highly recommend the Floating Shanti. In March 2021 I received a giftcard to Floating Shanti. I have scheduled 5 different massage appointments and have STILL (March 2022) not been able to use the gift card. Each appointment was cancelled by the store due to lack of staff. I do understand that staff quitting is not within the companies control; however, they called to reschedule the appointment 4 times before the employee quit. The fifth time they called me to rescheduled it and literally called the next day to cancel it due to lack of staff. I requested my gift card be refunded for cash since I had no interest in using the other services and I was denied. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because I was able to use it in the retail shop. I will not be returning. read more

I have had a number of visits to Floating Shanti in the past and have had great results each time. I found it strange on my last visit that I had to fill out an entirely new registration form because the receptionist said she could not find me in their system. Delayed my float time quite a bit as she also had to clean the pool area as well. This morning I received a call stating that I was late for a float appt. and that I had another appt this morning coming up as well. I stated that I had not made one let alone two appts. for this morning and that the last time I was there was June. The employee stated that I had made the appt while I was there on my last appt in June. I told her I had not and there must be some mistake. Well she insisted that I did in fact make the appts. and that it had been annotated according. I was highly offended that this lady would tell me I had me I had made 2 appts in one day and blew them off, which is ridiculous to me sense I include floating into my pain management program. She stated that I may have booked one for me and one for a guest or my husband. Unbelievable and terribly rude and out of line. I asked to speak to someone in management and she ok go ahead so I take she was in management and I let her know I was totally dissatisfied with such customer service & unprofessional treatment. I asked her name and she said Val. Well, if Val is part of "management" of Floating Shanti, maybe her type of management is why the room wasn't prepared upon my arrival on my last visit (1st time that's happened) and why my customer file was missing/misplaced in the computer. I will be definitely look at other options after such treatment. Unfortunate because I really like the facility itself, just not the way I was treated. Unnecessary!!! read more

Amazing place for mind and body. Everything you need in one place. Very welcoming and calming atmosphere. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, polite and in tune with what is needed for each individual person. My daughter, age 11, used the float tank and just seeing her emotional and physical wellbeing improve after her experience with her visit on Sunday was quite impressive.
