    Beer tap area.

The food I had was good but not amazing. I'd give it a 3. But the concept, kind of like Hawker Market in Singapore was really cool. It's done in a high quality way. There are fun old school arcade and pop-a-shot games and big TVs in the bar area where we watched the Blazer game. A very fun and unique place. The service was good and I didn't have to wait for my food as they just texted me. The portions were big.

Lots of great options at this food hall. We tried a little bit of everything and it did not disappoint. The tap house had a good variety, the fish and chips were delicious, and the smash burger was a hit with our group. The only thing I was this had was somewhere with a fountain soda, can sodas are just not the same!

Environment: This used to be the area where there were lots of food carts but now it turned into Ritz Carlton and below, there are a few food options to try and eat! I liked the high ceiling and each stall had its own unique style and there was plenty of seats and all kinds of spots, too. There were also fun looking robo bunnies (that's what I'm calling them). Luckily, went went on a weekday when everyone's at work so it actually was not busy and felt spacious. I'm sure that's another story if it's after work or weekends. Staff: For all the places, there are touch screens and you order it through there and you'll get a text from them to get your food. Food: 1. Zab's #20 Khao Man Gai for $18. My mom's been looking for some good chicken cooked in this particular style and she loved it. Yes, it was quite expensive but she said the chicken were tender, good portions, and the rice was even flavored with ginger and other sauces. She also liked the sauce and soup, too. I had a piece of her chicken and I agree that it was very tender. 2. Pan Roast's fried oysters for $15. Dad and I each got our own set. I wanted to try more food at Pan Roast. Maybe another time with more people! There were 5 decent sized oysters and waffle fries which I loved. Both the fries and oysters were fried nicely and the batter around the oysters were light. This price was not bad but compared with another place that's like this (oysters and fries), this was a little more $ as we hoped there was either one more oyster or more fries. Still, it was delicious and I liked the sauces with it. The bathroom was nice, clean, and had many stalls too, :) Overall, the food was good but it was on the pricier side. The other stands seemed more expensive in my opinion but it's worth to try and check it out :)

Popped in for a quick pint at Prime Tap House, which has as awesome selection of taps ---- over 25 at last count. Sheesh! No food, but the rest of the Flock space has ample options, from Thai to Chinese to Mexican and BBQ; I counted 6 stalls in all. There's a nice little wine spot as you walk in too, called Nest & Vine, with a nice selection of by-the -glass vino. That front area opens to the street as well on nice days and has general seating there as well, though you can sit anywhere in the Flock space, at somewhat generic tables. It's pleasant enough, kind of a food court-meets food cart pod but with lots of windows and ducting and piped in music. Feels family friendly and welcome, good enough for a quick bite, but not inviting enough to linger for more than an hour.

Beautiful indoor food pod. Located on the ground floor of Ritz Carlton, this food pod has a total of 7 food vendors - BBQ Chicken - Korean style fried chicken chain Queen Mama's Kitchen - Saudi Arabian cuisine Pan Roast - signature "Pan Roast" seafood stew Zab Pinto - Thai cuisine Birrierira La Plaza - Mexican cuisine HK Bistro - Chinese cuisine Prime Tap Brewhouse - local alcoholic beverages Each food stall has their own touch screen tablet to order food from. We went on a weekday around 4:30pm. It was not as busy as other reviewers mentioned during lunch/dinner time. There were 2 kind ladies clearing the tables and taking the food trays away for us just as I was already wondering where to put them. I feel like this is a better option to go to when it is raining and really cold/breezy outside. Many other outdoor food pods will have covered areas/tents set up, some with/without space heaters so food could get cold pretty quick.

Parking ain't easy down here, so it's best if you're coming down for something else. But I always feel like there's never anywhere to eat down here, so it's a great option. Basically a food hall--if you were to take food trucks and put them inside with tables. Great idea in Portland d! Like Pine Street Market, only with less seating. Probably 6-7 choices for food, great options and varied. I ate shrimp pan roast from pan roast, which was 5. The hubs had chicken shawarma from Queen Mama's, which was 3 and here's why--the flavor on the top of the dish was 5, but underneath that was a huge pile of unflavored rice for $22. Prime Tap House had lots of options for draft beers, ciders and cocktails. Great, friendly staff all around!

When we first walked into Flock the vibes were immaculate! I loved the selection of restaurants and how clean everything was! There were so many things that I wanted to try here but didn't have the stomach to fit it all so we only managed to try a few! The pan roast was my main choice and if you decide to get this definitely be prepared to share! The fries were great but I was getting so full from the pan roast I couldn't quite finish it! Price wise it seems a little bit above average but not too bad at all! With the parking outside having multiple lots nearby, it's nice and easy to get here, I would definitely come again!

About 5-6 food choices from different vendors, a beer hall and a place to get wines/sake. Overall a bit underwhelming. Lots of different floor levels with steps in between. I opted for nachos with birria.. good and tender beef but chips were very soggy. For $18 there are better options out there. I got the chocolate cloud cake from the French bakery (tous Les jours ) for dessert. Delicious but pretty much the only choice still available at just 7:30pm. The almond croissant was terrible. The whole place is just lack-luster, Just not having any real appeal for me. Not a place to return to

Flock recently opened less than two weeks ago on the east side of the Ritz's first floor. The space is clean, fairly spacious, and offers a variety of options at reasonable prices. When we visited, a private event occupied half the space, but there was little notice about it, making the experience feel more hectic and less welcoming for customers not attending the event. Looking forward to when the weather warms up and they can open up more of the space.

Really fun and cool place that has a variety of food options for you, it was really hard to decide what to choose. The service was fairly fast becuz you self order at a kiosk and they text you when the prefer is ready, very efficient.it was an indoor-outdoor concept where you could sit inside but the walls are open so there was a nice breeze. Great place to stop by if you're shopping at the nearby store district around the block.

    Yellow curry with tofu

On my most recent visit to PDX, I had the opportunity to try the newly opened Flock food hall. Located in the heart of downtown, Flock houses ~7-8 food and beverage vendors that offer a variety of cuisines - including Thai, Mediterranean, dumplings, and birria tacos. Thai curries are among my favorite food groups, so I decided to order a couple of curries from Zabpinto Thai. After ordering at the kiosk, I snagged a table in the center of the foodhall, where there is plenty of indoor seating (perfect for rainy days). After about 15-20 minutes, I received a text message when my food was ready to pick up. While the food is a bit pricey for the fast casual genre, the portion sizes are generous and filling. I loved both the House Curry and Yellow Curry - both curries were thick, well-spiced, and were served with a side of jasmine rice. My favorite of the two was probably the House Curry because it was slightly sweeter and had a peanut-y flavor that reminded me of chicken satay sauce or Pad Thai. In fact, I enjoyed the curry so much that I came back and ordered it for lunch a couple of days later. There was also an option to choose your protein and adjust your spice level; I opted for "mild+" which still had a noticeable kick. While I'd love to try the other items on Zabpinto Thai's menu, I'm also curious to try the other vendors at Flock.

Flock is such a cool spot! We've been twice now and eaten at Zab Pinto Thai and Birrieria. Both had our food out in less than 15 minutes and the meals were fresh and delicious. It's like an indoor food cart pod. The only con is that it can be hard to find parking nearby and sometimes difficult to find seating when it's busy.

    Roast duck, broccoli and rice
    Sydney S.

re: HK Bistro, please make note I visited 5/30/25 at lunchtime and not busy. i ordered the duck with rice - came with broccoli. It looked promising. It was served barely room temp. I asked for all to be reheated. Took about three bites of each and threw it all away. Absolutely terrible. Worst duck I have ever eaten. Broccoli was steamed with no seasoning. i did not need to pay $18 for this. Meanwhile, Flock is a nice place to visit and hopefully other offerings are better. I cannot believe the reviews online for this HK Bistro. I cannot recommend.

The location is not ideal in terms of access and some of the typical challenges you would expect in downtown Portland. Otherwise, it's a fun experience for an occasional visit and the food options are plentiful. There are about eight food concepts in total on the perimeter of the building with a main bar in the center. I went with a rice bowl from one spot and had a few of the mini donuts from the other location for dessert. I also saw a Thai food concept, a smoothie bar and a ramen spot. There are a lot of different seating options available, but none of them are particularly comfortable. When I went for dinner, the place was only about half full and the trash area was a little bit unkempt. Parking is available on the street or in adjacent lots but everything is paid during typical daytime hours from about 8 AM until about 7 PM. The bathrooms do require an access code but are available on site. Personally, I feel like this place had a bit more clout when it first opened before the pandemic. But, it still has some relevance and it's a great spot for a casual meal just because of the variety of options that are available. If you come with a group, everyone can try what they like. Overall, a good showcase of some under the radar food establishments that conglomerate in a fun shared space. Check it out!

This visit, the selection was a bit limited and the wait times can be a bit long so if you're paying for parking, make sure to add a bit extra time to avoid rushing your meal. As for the food, I got the spicy garlic ramen with the keto noodles from MATSUNOKI RAMEN. Pretty sure not gluten free, so if you are a gf friend, not the place for you. If you can stand a bit of it, the soup really hit the spot and had a good heat to it. The noodles were not great, had become a ball. The meat in the soup was minimal and more friend bacon than what I'm used to in ramen. The serving size was pretty substantial. If you're in the area with a large group this could be a good place to go.

Right off I-205 and just a short cruise up into Happy Valley, this spot feels like the food cart scene finally put on a clean shirt and got its life together. It's modern, it's polished, and it sits in a neighborhood where you don't feel like you need to keep your head on a swivel. No chaos, no nonsense just good eats and a relaxed vibe. What makes this place stand out? Options. A ridiculous amount of them. This isn't a "hope everyone agrees on tacos" situation. This is a "you get what you want, I get what I want, and we all win" kind of place. I've officially made it my mission few days left to try as many carts as humanly possible. Call it a food tour, call it a personal challenge, call it reckless ambition... I'm doing it anyway. We kicked things off at K-Pop Korean Hawaiian BBQ-because when you roll with a buddy from Hawaii, that's basically law. And let me tell you, it delivers. Bold flavors, solid portions, and that perfect fusion vibe that just works. Honestly, it set the bar high and that's saying something, because every cart here seems to bring their A-game. The setup is dialed in too. Covered seating for those rainy Oregon days, indoor space when winter decides to show up with attitude, and open-air areas when you want to sip a little wine or knock back a cold brew like a civilized adult. Surrounded by trees and mountain views, it almost tricks you into thinking you planned something outdoorsy... when really, you just came to eat. And here's the kicker it's clean. Like, noticeably clean. The carts look new, the area is well kept, and the whole place feels intentional. Not slapped together. Not gritty. This is food carting with standards. If you're local, you already know. If you're passing through, put this at the top of your list. And if you're doing a full-on food truck tour? Start here. Set the tone right. Because trust me after this, when you head back downtown and start dodging zombies and chaos... you'll miss this place real quick.

Just a lot of friendly faces who understood we needed to drool over all the menus before arriving somewhere. We landed on Premier Japanese Hibachi and loved all the flavor. Some of the freshest shrimp and yakisoba I have ever had. We also had the grilled shrimp and steak. TIP: don't forget to ask how you want your steak because it is made to order! The sauces on the side were perfect for dipping and sharing. Unfortunately, the portions did feel small for $18 a plate. Also, how to order water with your meal was confusing- another worker said just go inside. Eventually I saw signs that water is free with purchase or $1, but you would think it would be obvious. Overall, Premier Japanese Hibachi and everything else was a hit, 10/10, TY!

Five Stars The Mall That Still Gets It Right…read more Let me start off by saying this. I'd love to hit every single spot in here and give them all their moment, but you're only getting a handful of my favorites because this place is massive. And honestly, that's part of the charm. Clackamas Town Center is what a mall is supposed to be. You've got the movie theater, a legit food court, a full-on carousel, and hundreds of shops that'll keep you wandering longer than you planned. And here's something real. When it's hot outside or you've got kids bouncing off the walls, stepping into that air conditioning feels like you just made a life decision that matters. You'll walk this place and accidentally get your steps in. It's the kind of exercise you don't argue with. They've got little things that make a difference too. A koi pond that slows you down for a second. Kid corners where families can reset. It's not just shopping. It's an experience you can stretch into a whole afternoon without even trying. Now let's talk convenience, because this place nails it. TriMet runs right through here with both bus and MAX light rail access. There's a park and ride, which is clutch. You can literally park your car and take the MAX straight out to Portland International Airport and skip the airport parking headache. That alone makes this place a power move. And the surrounding lineup is stacked. You've got the Residence Inn right in the mix, plus food spots like Claim Jumper, Oswego Grill, Mezcaluna, and fun like Dave and Buster's. Whether you're eating, hanging out, or making a night of it, it's all right there. Fun fact time. This mall first opened back in 1981 and has gone through multiple expansions to become one of the largest shopping centers in Oregon. It's also one of the few in the region that still feels modern, alive, and constantly evolving while others have slowed down or faded out. Inside, you've got everything from AT&T to REI and more shops than you'll realistically hit in one trip. You can come here for a couple errands and somehow lose a few hours without regret. Only downside. Parking can be a mission. You might end up a bit of a walk out. But honestly, that just adds to the experience. More steps, more time, more reason to wander. In my opinion, this is the mall in the Portland area. The others might exist, but this one actually delivers. It's clean, it's modern, it's full of life, and it gives you a reason to come back. If you're anywhere nearby and wondering where to go, this is it.

It's got tons of covered picnic seating on the ground level, an elevated sports lounge in a stacked shipping container (complete with TVs and wood flooring salvaged from an old college basketball court how cool is that?), and a killer rooftop deck with awesome views of downtown Portland. You can literally sit up high, sip a craft cocktail from the bar, watch the world (and traffic) go by, and feel like you're in a treehouse for grown-ups. Plenty of interactive vibes too games, space to move around, live music stages ready for DJs or bands. It's giving big "block party every night" energy. I went during the daytime and it was already awesome bright, clean, colorful murals everywhere, easy parking, and zero sketchy downtown feels. I can only imagine how epic it gets in the evening with lights on, music bumping, and that rooftop catching sunset or city glow. Not scummy, not skimpy just fresh, inviting, and thoughtfully built. Food carts don't have to be this fun and hangout-friendly, but when someone puts in the extra effort? Chef's kiss. Extra star for pure creativeness. If you're tired of the same old pods, add WonderLove to your list immediately. Great for a quick bite, a drink with friends, a family outing, or turning into a full night out. Highly recommend especially as evening rolls in. I'll be back for sure, and I'll be shouting out my favorite carts next time. This spot made the 'must-return' list on day one. Go check it out! "

Love that the noodles are hand made. The flavors in this dish were absolutely incredible…read more Recommendation would be to get a spice level down from what you normally get. We wanted to do medium but went with mild and we were glad we did. Located conveniently in the Midtown Beer Garden.

Found street parking a few blocks down which was okay since the weather was nice…read more The food truck is nested in a beer garden with a large covered tent area in the middle area. There is plenty of seating there and It looked like there was a space for live music and string lights - probably a fun spot to grab dinner in the evening. We came for lunch and ordered the chao mian with chicken (spicy) and bian bian noodles (spicy). The noodles are cooked to order and we were served quickly. The serving sizes are huge. Neither one of us could finish ours. We'll likely order one dish to split next time, and that'd still probably be more than enough. The flavor of the chao mian was a bit lackluster. It was savory with a soy sauce flavor base, but got a bit repetitive with each bite. It was decently spicy and texture was there with the veggies, but I wish there was a way to customize with more spice or vinegar to taste. The bian bian noodles were more flavorful and also spicier. Fun noodle texture. There are also other vendors in the garden so you can pair a dessert, drink, or side with your meal while staying in the same area. Overall, a filling meal for a good price! Would come again to try their beef noodle soup.
