WonderLove Visiting my son from California, he suggested we head to WonderLove for some food and fun -- and it did not disappoint! The venue had an incredible assortment of food options along with tons of outdoor activities for our grandson. It made for a fantastic trip to the Art District. We tried all kinds of treats. I had the Lamb Tikki Gyro and started with a fresh Dragon Roll. My grandson devoured 3 corn dogs and fries! My wife loved the Philly Cheesesteak, and my son enjoyed a fresh sushi plate along with a Spam Musubi. Everything was absolutely delicious and freshly made. The service at each truck was excellent. One of the highlights of the day was playing ping pong with my grandson -- such a fun family atmosphere. Great food, great energy, and a great experience overall. Just off SE Main Street in the Central Eastside (right at 2nd & Main), WonderLove feels like someone took a classic food cart pod, cranked the creativity to 11, and built a three-story party fortress around it. This place isn't just 'grab your food and go' it's a full-on hangout destination that makes regular pods look boring. The carts might not all be the heavyweight champions of Portland's food scene, but who cares when the options are this diverse and tasty? From Guyanese bakes at Tu Tia (those fluffy pockets are killer) to Honeycuspe's next-level waffles, Gyro Bistro, sushi poke, Indian plates, and more there's something for everyone. I grabbed snacks and a drink and could've stayed all afternoon. But the real star? The setup. It's got tons of covered picnic seating on the ground level, an elevated sports lounge in a stacked shipping container (complete with TVs and wood flooring salvaged from an old college basketball court how cool is that?), and a killer rooftop deck with awesome views of downtown Portland. You can literally sit up high, sip a craft cocktail from the bar, watch the world (and traffic) go by, and feel like you're in a treehouse for grown-ups. Plenty of interactive vibes too games, space to move around, live music stages ready for DJs or bands. It's giving big "block party every night" energy. I went during the daytime and it was already awesome bright, clean, colorful murals everywhere, easy parking, and zero sketchy downtown feels. My friend and I attended Frolic Fest at WonderLove - we were pleasantly surprised! Both of us are from out of town, and with minimal information on the venue, we weren't sure what to expect. There are SpotHero parking lot options in walking distance. The venue itself is easy to find. There is a security check upon arrival when you scan your tickets. At least for the festival they had food trucks lined up on the left and a cool bench seating area in the center across from the bar area. The food was good, everything hot and cooked well. The drinks were tasty, I had a local cider from the bar and it was sweet with only a hint of tartness on the back end. The sound quality for the music and the lights on the stage were great! It's a cool, outside laidback venue with great staff and an "out of side out of mind" comfort because it's gated in with security. read more

Stumbled across this while out running errands. What a cool place! Great selection of food carts with lots of seating, a full bar, and lots a family fun activities. Ping pong, corn hole, connect four, jenga and lots of open spaces for the kids or adults to play. We decided on Oh Yum, we had a chicken and beef bowl that was delicious. I always enjoy attending Yelp events as it encourages me to experience places I've not yet visited. WonderLove was one such recent event! This location offers a superb food cart experience (best one so far in Portland for Me) that is clean, welcoming, has plenty of great outdoor seating, opportunity for live music on a stage and a bar on site. Who could ask for more?! There are a variety of food trucks to choose from including pizza, Mexican, sushi, gyros, etc. during our visit I elected Pad Thai with chicken from the Thai truck. It was a very generous serving and came with a side of peanut sauce. My wish was that is would have had more veggies in it. Sarah, our Yelp ambassador, created (as always) a great event and continues to build our local community. One of the primary reasons I appreciate these events. Oh - and I enjoyed my cocktail! I think WonderLove has the potential to be one of the cool new hot spots in PDX. This food cart pod has plenty of food options to choose from (Mexican, sushi, Thai, Mediterranean, American, and much more) along with an awesome bar. The best part about it by far is the atmosphere... there is plenty of seating down on the ground level but there is also a lounge on the second level with TVs and a huge bay window to look out at the event space. On the third floor youve got a stunning rooftop with amazing views of downtown PDX. Aside from being a very cool spot to experience on its own, they also put on special events such as comedy, concerts, run club, trivia and more!! Good variety of foods available within 9 food carts. Great ambiance. There is lots of seating on the floor area. More seating on 2nd and rooftop level. The rooftop had great seating and lighting available. You can see part of downtown from the rooftop. A small bar inside serving alcohol. There is a ping pong table on the side where you can play while you wait for your food. I ordered from Thai Panther and it was pretty good. They had a kiosk where you type your phone number in and they will text you when the order is ready. You can select what you want or don't want in the meal. Very efficient. I seen a few of the food carts here that has the order kiosk. The Chicken Pad Kee Mao was delicious. Very good flavors. Great crispy veggies and good stir fry on the rice noodles. Gyro Bistro Grill we had the Lamb Gyro. Very fulfilling. The lamb was grilled perfectly. Very tasty and not overcooked. Good sized veggies in the gyro. This food pod is in an industrial area. Pretty friggin cool food cart pod right in the middle of the Central Eastside district off of Martin Luther King Blvd. It's a great layout to chill in, even though you're in the middle of the city; The central bar and seating area is surrounded by 8 or 9 carts (Thai, Mex, Middle Eastern - the uzh) and there's a very cool upper level TV room. I had great Thai food here with wonderful service so no complaints there. There is even a real stage and bands play here some weekends; the upper level patio seating gives you great views of the city too. Covered seating areas downstairs make for a comfy eating experience. One of the best food cart pods in Portland I've visited. Brought a friend from out of town to visit a few weeks ago and it was pretty popping. Good amount of kids running around, lots of people chilling both downstairs and upstairs on their deck. Food options were great too. For vegetarians, there's a really good Guyanese food cart to try (Bake on the run). One of my fav features of this place is the artwork on the buildings. It was tough to stop taking photos. I took so many!!! The views from the upper deck is also real nice. You can see parts of Portland downtown and some of the lower industrial buildings. There's multiple seating options so it's easy to find a space. There's the main seating area with covered benches (useful for weather), an elevated seating area in the corner and an upstairs deck in the center structure. That's a couple of games for kids and adults alike like ping pong and corn hole. Bathrooms are pretty clean too. Really great place to hang out read more

The cart pod is a really fun and innovative space, definitely great to hold events, such as the Yelp Elites event I attended last week. This is not about a food cart specifically, but the in-house bar and bar tender Chrissy. Chrissy was very friendly, easy-going, and great to chat with, a true tender of bar, if you will, haha. She charmed me so much that even with the complimentary drink ticket from Yelp, I had to tip her for taking such good care of me and making a beautiful 'Pink Tony Club's Mocktail. The environment is cool but on the same hand I couldn't even hear the people sitting across from me because the music was so loud. I thought the bar had good drinks and the staff was nice. Adding this to one of my favorite food cart pods! Glad that Wonderlove opened up on this side of town. This one has a variety of food trucks to choose from. I got a carnitas quesadilla from one of the carts and it satisfied my cravings. Lots of seating everywhere! There is a also large 3-story structure with a bar on the ground floor (super friendly bartenders), additional seating with televisions showing an assortment of shows/movies/sports games on the second floor, and a rooftop with great views of the city! I especially love that there is a ton to do in this small pod to keep everyone busy (ping pong table, a half-court basketball, jumbo Jenga blocks). And I definitely appreciated the huge jug of drinking water with cups available because we went on a hot day. Overall, a great place to bring family, friends, and pets! read more

This is a neat little food cart pod out in inner SE. The place is well designed with an area for kids to play as well as covered seating area. There is also a bar and rooftop available to enjoy. The rooftop has a nice view of the area. There's a small middle floor that you can also sit and enjoy your meal.  We ordered a few drinks from the bar and took our time enjoying it. read more

Portland can never have enough food cart spaces, but this one goes the extra mile of being a concert venue and rooftop view. So many options with food from burgers, to pizza, to some unique mid eastern flare. All of the carts have buzzers to get your order so you can walk around while waiting. The bar on the first floor is also very quick to make orders, has a solid tap list, and bartenders are cool and fun to hang with. Concerts here are great and they seem to already have a steady lineup of shows planned. I came on a busier show that required a ticket and security. Everything went swimmingly and they were able to make plenty of space to dance. The music also plays inside so if you want the option of going to the 2nd floor chill area you can still hear the music there. Their lights are really fun and colorful too. I can't praise this cart collection enough and we'll keep coming back. Here's looking forward to more summer dance parties! read more

What a fun place to hang out, one of my friends called it an adult playground. They have basketball, cornhole, a stage for music and table tennis. Two separate rooftops to hang out in and an inside area on the second floor to eat. One of my favorite food trucks has moved here with Guyanese food. I brought 9 out of town guests to WonderLove on a Sunday afternoon August 11th. There was Plenty of seating outside & upstairs. We sat in the middle deck (no one bussed tables in a long while) it has many TV screens that we had to turn on. sound system was not on either. They Must be short handed. As for the food, I enjoyed the Hawaiian poke sushi, a few raved about the Mexican food & it seemed all were happy with food choices. Unfortunately Everyone had the same unpleasant experience with the woman bartender. Even after good tips, she was Unfriendly, irritated with life, never smiled, and not one thank you. had a bad experience at the bar, a 30ish female bartender with shoulder length hair which was straight frizzy and reddish blonde shouldn't be pouring beer if they hate it so much.
