Went for Summerlicious 2025. My friend and I had never been to this place before, and we were happy with our first meal! The portions were generous and the service was fast, with a smile. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated -- high ceilings, calm colour plan, lots and lots of space. I see why it's an event space. We shared everything. Started off with saganaki and dip sampler (we chose the eggplant one and spicy feta), had fish of the day (sole) and braised beef for mains, and finished with citrus pound cake and spiced cake. My two favs were the eggplant dip (I know how much work goes into making these) and the braised beef (so tender!). What a great way to showcase their menu. Came to Floga (by Mr. Greek) with some coworkers. Pulling up, this is a big space. The place looked very clean, nice decor, fresh fish on ice. The bar area is massive as well. Definately a ton of seats. Menu is quite extensive, lot of great options for everyone. Prices are mid to high for the portion size I found (a bit on the small size). I ordered the lemonade chicken. This is a chicken stuffed with spinach and feta. This is covered in sauce and paired with a vegetable and rice medley. The flavour of the lemon sauce is delicious. Food is tasty but chicken was a bit on the dry side, maybe left to long on the grill or waiting for our food to arrive and it dried out. Had to use a lot of sauce which is not a bad thing as the sauce was delicious. Some ordered the chicken or pork souvlaki, portion looked small for the meat but the Greek salad looked refreshing. They were saying the potatoes were really nice. Waiter didn't really say much, was a man of few words. Not sure I would go back to often, but if you craving Greek food and in the area they have something for everyone. We had a delightful lunch here and went with the winterlicious set menu. Our appetizers were all tasty with the saganaki being a fun little interaction. I think the village salad could've used a bit more tomatoes and cucumbers though. Our mains were all great in flavour, and the Melitzanes Imam (grilled eggplant) was quite a large portion! The orzo in the other two dishes were lacking a little bit in temperature but the meat was hot. Desserts were made well and a huge portion too. Friendly and efficient service and a bright and clean space. Overall we had a great time. We'll be back to try their other menu items! read more

I always go to those affordable Greek places but this time I tried this Greek restaurant with course menu for first time. The first impression was super good. We ordered the Summerlicious menu and honestly every food was tasty, but the main--this sole fish dish?--soooo good, I can't believe. Desserts were also nice, like some homemade cake, looked simple but right amount of sweetness to enjoy! (Not too sweet) Even appetizer, don't need to say, it's already so delicious. And the 3 different dips came with bread... those dips just stuck in my mind, so good. The restaurant vibe was amazing, it feels like I'm chilling at some fancy bar next to the ocean in Europe, all bright and so chill, like holiday mood, you know? Came here on a Saturday night for my dad's birthday. We were a party of five and had made reservations. We were greeted warmly at the door, and when we asked to switch tables from a busy aisle, our server was very accommodating. We started with a generous serving of pita and bread for the table, then ordered a variety of dishes to share family-style. Everything was delicious--highlights included the fried calamari, kontosouvli (rotisserie pork), Greek salad, rice, dolmades, chicken souvlaki, and saganaki (flaming cheese). The octopus was the only miss for us--it was a bit rubbery and overly charred. For dessert, we ordered the Greek yogurt cheesecake, which was rich and delicious. Our server added a candle and joined in singing happy birthday, which made the evening feel even more special. This is an amazing Greek restaurant uptown without the hassle of going downtown & having to pay for parking just to dine in. This restaurant is located in Scarborough next to Kennedy Commons. It is spacious and it felt homey. I came here for a work (late) lunch. Our reservations were for 2:30 p.m. and even though it was pretty late in the day, there were still quite a few other diners there. We were greeted and served by this older lady. She was excellent in her order taking & was pleasant throughout our time there. One of my colleagues took another colleague's meal by accident & she fixed the issue right away. For appetizers, we shared the garlic shrimp, saganaki, fried calamari, and grilled octopus. Everything was delicious and full of flavor. My favs were the fried calamari and saganaki. For my main entrée, I had the Kontosoulvi plate which consists of marinated spit-roasted pork shoulder and comes with two sides (potatoes and a Greek salad - there was an up charge for the Greek salad however it was a large portion). The pork shoulder was tender and melt in the mouth good. The potatoes were tomato based and not the usual lemon but was still yummy with the right texture being soft & creamy on the inside. For my dessert, I had the traditional Greek citrus cake with a hint of vanilla topped with slivered almonds and sweetened with a simple syrup. It was okay and was a little to sweet for my liking. I also had a fruit daiquiri of some kind. I forget what flavor but it was non-alcoholic and very good. Had a last minute gathering at our home and just stumbled upon this place oIt's only while writing this review that I realized I've driven by this place hundreds of times and never thought to order from them. That changed after tonight for sure. Got the Poseidon's bounty and grilled Mezzes platter. I live by danforth, I know good Greek food. This is amazing Greek food. The fact that the platters come with multiple side is just the cherry on top. Will be picking up one or both of these platters again for our next gathering for sure! read more

We tried this place for winterlicious. I have the day quite a bit has changed since last year. The ambiance was the same. Dim lit for dinner, the restaurant is very spacious. The staff are fairly consistent since the last few times we weee here, and the owner made a few rounds to greet the guest, which I think is a nice touch. The position sizes were much smaller than they used to be. And the veggies on all our plates were very much over done. Last year we had a delicious piece of salmon, this year they didn't have that on the menu, but I believe had sole, which wasn't as flavourful. The dessert, this place makes the honest to god best baklava ever! The other desserts were meh. But I would go back again to just order this home made, cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious baklava! read more

We ordered a bunch of dishes to share: the calamari, grilled octopus, saganaki, beef souvlaki, lamb souvlaki, moussaka, sea bream, lamb fournou, seafood medley with orzo, cool dips and baklava! Pros: - We loved the taramosalata dip (made from fish roe!) from the assortment of cool dips so much that we got a tub to go at the end of our meal (in case you are wondering, it's $7 for a serving the size of a typical hummus container) - Their tomato-y dishes were a hit! Beautiful indoor decor to mimic dining in Greece, dressy and perfect for a date night or family gathering! 1pm on a Sunday had lots of empty tables still. Looks like this is where the locals go. Service was excellent! Summerlicious menu is a good bundle meal, ban for your buck versus ordering the items separately on the regular menu. We recently celebrated a birthday here and had a lovely time. The venue is so big and spacious that you do not feel crowded even as outdoor dining picks up again. There is a large patio, so you even get the choice of outdoor or indoor dining. It is a great space to host a party, as they can section large areas off tables easily. Lovely service and attentive friendly staff. The food is great! We ordered the Octapodi Skaras and Maria's Dolmades for the table to start. The octopus was amazing, sooooo succulent and well charred with a hint of lemon. The pairing of smoky charcoal flavor and bright citrus is always a win for me. The dolmades were good also, but I really liked the avgolemono sauce it came swimming in. Ended up dunking a couple pieces of toasty garlic bread in it. I had the Lamb arnaki fournou as my main. The slow roasted lamb shank fell off the bone with a gentle prod of my fork. The herb tomato sauce had the deep delicious flavors that could only come from slow cooking. I liked that I could choose my own sides as I preferred having it with the Fasolakia (green beans) and Horta (wild greens). Generous portions also! I could only finish half after the appetizers. I've been craving Greek food for ages! Momma Chris' birthday was a great excuse to try this place, as we were passing through Toronto, and this place is easy access from the 401. Mr Greek offers a lunch menu, and all three of us got souvlaki- 2 pork and 1 chicken; you get Greek salad and your choice of side, either rice or potatoes - $15.00. Service was attentive and reasonably quick - even to refill our water glasses. I also had a latte after the meal. The meal was good - very filling, and the chicken was tender. The latte was only ok (have I become a coffee snob?) The place is huge; I was surprised it wasn't busier, but we got there at 1:00 on a Friday. Maybe it's busier at other times? I've been coming to this place since it was a Mr. Greek in another part of Kennedy Commons. The food and service were always pretty good. Floga really upgraded the decor of the place. The food itself is still as reliable as it used to be -- my parents and my friends all love their fried calamari. Generous portion and good tzatziki. Saganaki isn't something I always get, but the first time I did have it was because of their tableside flambé and accompanying "opa!" It's particularly good with the garlic bread that they serve with the meal. At its best, Floga's pork souvlaki is really juicy. My most recent it wasn't quite as juicy as usual but still pretty good. Hope they can keep up their food quality to their standard at their original location. read more

This place was a life saver as my friends were scrambling a bit trying to find a place to have a KK Party. The staff were very accommodating with our party that included kids. Kalamari - We opted for the fried version and theirs was one of the best ones I've had at a Greek restaurant. Lightly breaded and perfectly fried, with the perfect texture. I'd recommend this to anyone. 5/5 Kokkinisto - This was so delicious! If you like stews, then this dish is for you. The beef was so tender that it basically just melted in your mouth. You can tell that this has been braising for hours. The orzo was gooey with the cheese which made the meal quite rich overall but in the best way. 5/5 Spicy Feta Dip - Didn't get a chance to take a picture of the dips as I was starving and wanted to just stuff my face. But this dip was delicious! Had quite a kick but wasn't so overpowering that you lose the flavour. Goes great with the warm pillow and even better with the garlic bread. The decor inside is nice and bright. Service is slow. We arrived at 12 and food didn't start coming until 12:45 and it wasn't all at once, so some of us were sitting and watching others eat. I really like the interior space, very breathable with nice high ceilings. The octopus appetizer was great. I also had the lamb dinner but have previously had the chicken and that is my preference. Food quality: 4/5 They have options for all sorts of dieters, so it was very easy to pick something to eat. It is nice that they serve free garlic bread here and you can request for more, but the bread can use some more garlic and butter. At least it is free! I chose the seafood medley and it was such a great choice! It was light yet filling enough for me with slices of salmon, a ton of mussels, half a dozen shrimps, and two squids!! The rose sauce paired well with the pasta. My beau and friend's daughter both ordered the grilled salmon and we all loved how there was a balanced portion of veggies included with half of a lemon! The herbs made everything tasted better. On a side note, they serve Greek beer and wine, so that was cool to know, even though I rarely drink any alcohol. Service: 3.5/5 Our server checked in on us from time to time and let us bring in our own dessert to celebrate my beau's birthday belatedly, but we had to constantly flag him for attention. Newly opened restaurant. Nicely decorated. Staff are very friendly. They have a market section if your order fresh sea food. A bar section for drinks. I ordered lamb souvlaki but I was disappointed coz it's half the quantity for twice the price from a food court Mr.Greek. The rice was a little bit hard. The food was served cold. Made a reservation for a large group of people. When we arrived we we kept getting moved around which wasn't too big of a deal. We had two waiters who had no costumer service skills at all, they kept rolling their eyes and making snarky comments "under their breath". One of the waiters was very rude and kept insulting some guests and even threw a basket of bread on the table. She didn't have good hygiene, she had long nails and didn't look put together. I was really happy when they opened up an authentic Greek restaurant right next to the gym in Scarborough! My first time here, I had to be frugal about what I get because the menu was bit on the pricier side but we both decided to order appetizers and it was just enough for us after the gym. They had free garlic bread as well but they were just ordinary garlic bread. We bought two skewers. One was chicken and the other pork with a side of tzatziki. We also had a side of pitas which was sooo soft. I usually don't like chicken as much as pork but the chicken was so flavourful. We also had the saganaki which I really wanted to try and see. The food was good. We were there last night with our Bookclub. We are 6 ladies. We arrived at 6.30 and we were given some water at 6.45. Our waitress was busy we got out Fabulous cheese on time. But our order for our main meal was not taken for a While. We finally got our main meal about 30 minutes later. I think we will revisit because the good was good. Just opened! They're still in there soft opening but it was ready for us to visit for dinner. Greeted immediately we were shown to a nice booth by way of tour through the restaurant, which was offered when they noticed us looking around. Good attention to detail. Greeted immediatly by our server, Carlo, we found out they had just soft opened on Monday, with the grand opening still to come. We ordered Saganaki, Dolmades( served warm with meat and rice), assorted dips, and a beef souvlaki dinner with an extra chicken skewer. Saganaki was perfect. Presented well with an expert flame. The dips were so well presented with delicious fresh toasted pita pieces. Dolmades were done with lovely lemon flavour. Not a fan of the salad. Iceberg lettuce a little soft, and not much cheese. A little over dressed as well. The souvlaki. What a joy. The chicken was tender and juicy, I would enjoy again, except, I would rather... The beef. Fantastic! Done perfectly. Could not express more how enjoying it was. The dessert Galaktoboureko was delicious and we were not surprised to find out that it was baked in house. An absolutely wonderful experience. Awful experience altogether, unfortunately there isn't a Jimmy the Greek open near me at the moment, so we tried this place. 1) Takeout order was not ready on time (15 minutes late) 2) Ordered a 2 chicken fillet dinner, only got one piece 3) The bread was burnt on the outside and cold in the middle, the butter didn't even melt 4) Meal descriptions in the website are misleading. It sounds like the meals come with potatoes and vegetables as well as your choice of side. Nope, just comes with your choice of side. 5) Portions are tiny. I got a round 7 inch foil takeout tray with one piece of chicken and some rice, and the container was only half full 6) And that cost me $20. I got one for me, my wife, and my daughter, so I'm out $60. This is the worst takeout experience I've ever had. I got home and opened up my bag, and just felt so cheated. I ended up splitting my order between my wife and daughter so that they had enough to eat. I am never ever going back to this place again. Too expensive, tiny portions, wrong order and can't even warm bread. The staff was nice though, so there's that. read more

Mother's day 2020. This place is so insanely disorganized. Don't bother with them. We waited 2 hours for our food and eventually gave up and left. They refused to come outside to talk to anyone waiting to even have the decency to let us know they're busy or delayed. It would have been nice of them to have the decency to let the crowd know they're busy but our food is coming. And to top it off, there so many orders ready by the door that you could see and they just weren't bringing anything out! instead they were on the phone taking more orders.
