Last Thursday I called to ask someone to come consult about getting hot water faster to my kitchen. We made an appt for the next day, Friday afternoon. Friday morning I received a call saying that the technician had an emergency and wouldn't be coming. We rescheduled for today, Monday the 26th, in the morning. Saturday I received a call to confirm for Monday morning. After waiting all morning with no technician and no phone call, I called to find out what was going on, and was assured the technician was still scheduled to come, and would call when he was on his way (as had been the plan all along). By 2pm still no technician and no phone call. I phoned and canceled. This is atrocious customer service. Simple courtesy would dictate that as soon as it was known that the technician was running late, I should have been notified. Unacceptable. read more

I recently had a septic issue and called flohawks. They sent Frank out, same day (which was such a relief!). Not only did he arrive when they said he would - he was the BEST technician I've had work on my septic in the 11 years I've lived here. I've had a series of issues with my system and have had at least 10 septic people here doing work, inspecting, etc and not one of them told me that there's a filter inside the tank that I'm supposed to clean monthly. Monthly! I had no idea, so I hadn't done it. And my toilets had stopped working. Frank explained the system brillantly, he made sure I understood fully and he was so cheerful about the whole thing. He cleaned and pumped the tank, made sure all systems were a go inside the house and really went above and beyond to make sure the problem was solved and that I knew how to prevent it moving forward. I cannot say enough great things about Frank - he's incredible and I appreciate him and his amazing customer service beyond words! read more

We called FloHawks because of a backed up toilet. I wish I had read some reviews before I called them, but things were urgent & I felt rushed since it was for my renter. The workman that showed up acted like it was a real mystery. He spent a lot of time dilly dallying and scratching his head & didn't seem to know what he was doing. He used the snake for about a 30 foot line and after using 70 feet you would think that he would realize something wasn't quite right. But, my husband had to tell him something was wrong when he heard noise coming from the garage. The snake had gone off course & was flopping around in the garage. Then he called for a second workman to help him figure things out. Now we are paying for 2 people. He told us that the sewer line went into a different building that was in the opposite direction of the main sewer line. NOT TRUE! (I knew that wasn't true & I confirmed it with the City of Puyallup later on.) He finally called for a Jetter to force the blockage free, which worked. Neither workman thought to use a camera to see where the blockage was. Had he used a camera in the first place, it would have saved us several hours of dilly dallying and would have saved us a large portion of the over $2000. we paid just in labor. I feel robed by this company after having them charged me almost twice the amount I should have been charged for a septic cleaning they did for me... When I called for an appointment & estimate, they quoted me $550 for pumping my septic, but after their technician arrived, they mentioned that they may need to pump the chamber where the septic pump is located and they quoted me an extra $415 that i needed to pay to have it done. Unfortunately I did not know this service is included with other companies with no extra charge and even if others do charge, their fees don't seem to be as outrageous as FloHawks charges! ( I understand it runs between $40-60 extra...) I contacted them after I found out that I was overcharged and asked to speak with the manager. Their manager told me without any hesitation and in a rude way that they would not give me any money back and that next time "I needed to do my homework and shop around before contacting them" ... the thing is that I did do my homework and understood that a fair price would be around $550...however, since I am not an specialist I do not know all there is to have done so I trusted and follow their advice...at the end, I was taken advantaged of and did get not treated respectfully nor charged a fair price. I've tried to use this company twice. That's turned into four separate appointments. EVERY SINGLE TIME they've been hours late from their estimated arrival time (appointment for 8am-noon, nobody arrives by 3pm), and once were so late they had to reschedule me for two days later. The plumbers who show up have no idea what the appointment is for, the customer service people I make the appointments with have made me the wrong kind of appointment or not included enough information for the people who do the actual work to know what's needed. It's infuriating. After all this, I've only had one plumber actually show up and do anything- he was looking for a septic leak, couldn't find it, I found it on my own three months later. So, even when they show up, they don't succeed at what they're doing. read more

If there is a negative star review I can give I would. It is ironic to see a 4+ review, this company is a joke, it never knows to be credible and reliable, I suggest stay away from it. I have very bad experiences with it: they tell you come a time and now show for many times. I understand you want it rip off some other people with emergencies, and keep us waiting, waisting time and energy. Disappointed, frustrated and angry. Again, do not trust this company! The response time from FloHawks beats 911 9 out of 10 times! We've used them for some general maintenance but for those plumbing, septic tank leaking emergencies...thank god for these folks! They respond quickly on the call and dispatch ASAP. Nothing worse than being helpless when your spouse is out of town, you're alone with kids and the flood begins...literally! My family was visiting my mother, in Lilliwaup, WA, north of Hoodsport. I found a leak under her sink which deteriorated quickly. In my attempts to 'fix it' a deteriorating metal pipe broke. I was a bit worried since we were so far from a major city. I quickly found FloHawks, in Belfair, WA, and they were able to send someone out a few hours later. FloHawks employee, Tim, was very helpful and polite. Within an hour the leaky sink was no more. Overall, the entire company was very professional and our experience was great! Contacted FloHawks in Belfair to have a septic pumped and certified for a sale. FloHawks showed up and I found out that they had only pumped the septic and did not do a certification $500.00. I had FloHawks come out a second time for a certification and they had to dig up the septic again and charged me another $1,200. Still no certification. They left a message at the wrong phone number for more repairs. I contacted them again for receipts and the field manager Kevin said the septic needed more work to be certified to the tune of $6,000. This company can't seem to pump and certify a septic system without numerous phone calls and service calls. BEWARE read more

I have to dispute Tom's statements. I called at 12:15 stating that I was already there and inquired about when to expect them. I was not given a time but was told that it would be ok to go home since I live 15 minutes away. My time slot was "afternoon ". I didn't realize exactly what that meant I guess. I went back at 3:30 to make sure that I was there. At 4:30 we called again since we had not heard anything and were told that the truck was still at a job that he had started at 2:00. I finally gave up and left at 5:30 and at 5:45 got the call the the driver was on his way. That isn't afternoon anymore, that is evening. I get that things happen and jobs go long sometimes. Call me let me know what is going on. I should t have to chase anyone down to give them my business. I called AAA septic and was given a 2 hour window. I can live with that. I do not normally write a post-service comments, but this one is exception. My house in Tahuya, Wa. needed service to remove what clogged up pipes on our toilet, a septic system. The service was badly needed as we would be hosting guests the following weekend. All technicians of FloHawks were busy but promised me a technician would come to my place that day( Wednesday) no matter how late. At about 9:30 PM, a uniformed technician came and introduced himself as Brandon. He was very polite and apologetic for coming very late as he had to finish his last job order in Gig Harbor ( about 40 miles away from my place ). He wasted no time and took picture of the pipe, roto rooted, and tried to remove that very challenging barriers in the pipe. He removed the toilet inside the house to get closer to root of the problem. In the end, the problem was solved (there were plant roots and a hanger inside, don't ask me ). Brandon explained to me what he was doing, showed the picture of the problem, polite, professional, and very clean. He knew what he was doing, gave me other information about the septic system, and talked about how his company can help me. read more
