Save your time and don't go to this location. We placed an order for delivery from this location and first, the delivery company delayed our delivery by two days. This caused a delay in our installation. Then, once our company began installing the tiles we ordered, we noticed we received two different styles of tile that do not match. We called the store to speak to a supervisor but we have been on hold for at least 45 minutes and no one will take our call. This is completely unprofessional. read more

Shopping for tile isn't the easiest thing to do. Luckily there's people like Michael (chief team leader) around. He found me lost walking around the back of the store. Quickly came up to me and asked me what I needed. Michael was very knowledgeable he knew exactly what to find. Although the tile that I wasn't looking for was out of stock he quickly located in two locations. One was about 5 miles away and the other was over on the West Coast of Florida. Now that's impressive!!. He located 200 feet of extra tile from his home store back in Tampa. There should be more people like Michael. Sadly I didn't get his last name. I'm honestly not sure why this store has such awful stars. I gutted my house and this place has been my second home. I live in Kendall and this is the closest store to my house, so this is the store that I would frequent at. Every time I have been here, the managers, associates, and cashiers have been so helpful. Some even often remember me and remember my recent purchase. I dealt with a lot of different employees every time I went and they were all so helpful and answered all my questions. I wish I could remember everyone's name to give where credit was due. The two I remember was Jenny - who took my first large tile order and she made sure to call me when my order was ready for pickup/delivery. Elvis helped me with picking out my countertops and showed me what they had in stock that had not even been brought to the showroom yet. I shopped around a lot of places and the inventory here is very impressive as well as reasonably priced. I love that they have the prices marked on everything (which you won't find in other stores) so you don't have to keep asking "how much? How much" oh, for this, how much?" I also love how you can purchase as many samples to take home to see if it looks the same in your home and then you can come and return them. They also have a display of almost every tile so you can see how it looks put together and on the rope right corner it tells you what grout they used. The only thing I did wish was that delivery options were a lot cheaper or at least offer free shipping if someone spends a pretty penny. I've bought about $10,000 in merchandise over the past month and it gets expensive to ship every time you make another large order. read more

I wrote the CEO an email and the problem was resolved. It's a shame I had to go that far, but I'm glad they took care of it. Lots of lessons learned with this experience. Still nothing. I've called the person "handling" my claim, and left him multiple messages. No one is willing to actually h Unfortunately, my opinion of this store/ company has changed drastically. They sent us 2 different dye lots of tile. I didn't know what that was until after my 1200 square feet of tile was installed; at that point I realized there were varying shades down on my floor. I went to the store, they told me I had to file a claim and that it could take weeks. Here I am 1 month later and this issue has still not been resolved. I can't get anyone on the phone. I'm frustrated beyond belief and can't understand how a large, national corporation can treat their customer this way. A+ Experience with Claudia. I was so happy with my experience at Floor & Decor last week in Hialeah. I find myself regularly in many home improvement stores and usually I can't find a single person to help and when I find them they are eager to give me what I want and leave me. But this experience was A+ Claudia helps us match our tiles from pictures and helped us measure the amount needed and dealt with us trough an entire FaceTime conference session and was patient and helpful and amazing. I wish all customer service representatives were like Claudia. She even took the time to explain their policy to me and how they take back unused tiles and give you a full refund. She was so helpful and was really looking out for us. I will be back to that Floor and Decor store without a doubt. read more

We had originally visited the Doral location prior and their customer service was absolutely horrible. We were headed to another tile company when a friend told us to give the Kendall location a try. Thank God we did because Cheryl Singh was MAGNIFICENT! We opened a commercial account and proceeded with our first purchase. If it had not been for her we would not be a patron of Floor & Decor because nobody in that store had any customer service skills either, sorry but it must be said. It's also important to point out that she was very sensitive to my ADA needs. We will definitely continue to purchase from Floor & Decor as long as Cheryl is handling our account. I decided to re-do my master bathroom back in Feb 2020. I made an online appointment to see a designer, providing the size & some pics of what was then the current bathroom with a brief description of what I was envisioning. I arrived on time & met with Melissa Laderman on 2/21. She listened carefully and had 3 beautiful samples for my bathroom with my budget in mind. I probably was there for an hour or so and placed the order. Since then, the coronavirus madness hit and all was slightly delayed. I have to commend this young lady as she not only responds to texts with recommendations but does with a smile and always is available to answer questions with the best disposition. So you purchase your beautiful tile because yes granted they do have gorgeous tile. Nothing special that you cant get anywhere else but its clean and pretty. Then you go to pick up the tile. 2 hours and waiting for them to bring the tile. And that's after showing the receipt to the pick up desk. Picture was taken at 1040 in the morning. I had a contractor that wouldn't deliver my tiles because the store takes too long to bring the tiles. Floor and decor will only deliver the tiles curbside I'm in a highrise so that doesn't work for me. read more

To be honest this floor and decor has helped me beyond belief. I walked in stressed and without a clue on what I needed for my bathroom. The staff went out of their way to find the right combination (tiles, grout, accent pieces). I went multiple days needing help with the design and the material to redo a master bathroom and at ALL times they stayed after closing time and assisted me with understanding. Their customer service skills are exceptional to say the least. They assisted me with great disposition and made me feel comfortable with every question and concern that I had. Nicolas Brian is extremely helpful and personable besides having much patience. Maria Carolina Amaya is a great decorator that helped us reach the ultimate decision. Jadivia Solozano assisted me over the phone to make a final edit to the order with the upmost edict. Elvis, Reynaldo and Raquel were courteous and helpful even after the store had closed. I don't know much about bathrooms and I was very annoyed with the process, until I had the pleasure of meeting with Bianca the designer at this location. She was amazing! She was very patient and made sure to explain everything I needed. My contractor was a pain and I had to bother Bianca several times but she was always so nice and cooperative. She helped me pick the full setup for both bathrooms and they came out amazing!!!! Everyone that has walked in my house has complemented them. I will upload pictures soon!!!! Then we found David Fernandez, a rare gem! He listened to our request, and took us around showing us his recommendations. He knew the inventory, styles, and pricing. He was passionate and confident. Most horrible experience in my remodeling phase. I was told by the most helpful manager (Karina) to wait for the interior designer, since she would be the best in assisting me. The interior designer (Paloma) informed she would be there shortly and be readily available to assist me. After waiting for 50 minutes, the "interior designer" told me, in the most rudest underlying tone, "I just want you to know, I was at lunch." I simply walked away and I'm just thankful that the very polite and helpful manager (Karina) assisted me and was beyond apologetic for my experience. Just be aware- some employees aren't there to assist you, but others are. Thank you, Karina, for making a negative experience a positive one. If I could give this store a negative rating, I would. Very few employees in the store . I went in with my tiles looking fit a match for the bathroom floor. Not one employee I spoke with new the anti slip rating of the tiles. The man in the bathroom tile area said it was on the box- it's not; but he didn't know which were the more anti slip resistant ones I spent over 1 hour at the pro counter and they couldn't tell me!- While there, my sample went missing. No one would help. After waiting an eternity for the manager to call the pro counter so someone could look at the camera footage-- Finally Nicolaus went to look at the security footage and after 30 min comes back with nothing--"the camera doesn't have fast forward so it takes a long time, but He said he would continue to look through the film, and promised to call me that evening. ...... still waiting for the call Horrible employee service and knowledge. Unbelievably TERRIBLE and POORLY MANAGED. Ordered my tile online, even called the store directly to ensure they had it in stock and ready for my contractor to pickup. Got the email confirmation that it was ready to be picked up. Contractor drove an hour and a half to pick up but it was nowhere to be found. The store manager spent (wasted) three hours of my time scurrying around looking for it. How do you lose tile?? I had my entire house planned around this tile, which is now discontinued. Not to mention the terrible experience we had just trying to apply and use their store credit card. Don't bother with that either. Just because you have 'good prices' doesn't mean you should perform so subpar. No price is that good. SO UPSET. WILL NEVER EVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. read more

I was very impressed with the professional customer service of Kaelyn. After I completed a recent job, I had quite a few boxes of unopened material. I looked everywhere but could not find the actual receipt. I went into the store, expecting to perhaps not get a refund and have to haul my flooring home. I feel like driving to the store and strangling someone! Service in this store is beyond poor. Finding someone to help you is close to impossible - took us almost 20 minutes and the store was relatively empty. Made a purchase and canceled a portion and after 4 days the refund still had not registered in my bank. Called the store, got put on hold so i put my phone on speaker and decided to wait, twice. Fist time - 25 minutes, second time- 30 minutes. I called corporate and they said refunds take approximately 10 business days, which is ridiculous. They then said they would transfer me to the local store to confirm the refund was processed... and i went back the eternal hold. They finally picked up, asked me for my order number, and put me back on hold, for 35 minutes! They have decent prices but very low quality people and horrible service! You get what you pay for. Unfortunately I'm updating this review for the worse. After my first experience I was thrilled to return to this location but overall it's sad to say there's never any help. The employees were not welcoming and seemed bothered to be asked questions. I made a purchase a bit over $6,000 her and when I went back for help no one was to be found. I then asked an employee for help and she said I had to find someone myself because she had no radio. Very unprofessional! The only reason I kept it at 3 stars was because of the first time, and because at the end of the day when I did find help he was amazing (Elvis) They should be thankful they still have employees like Elvis there. He was very helpful all day. From the moment I called earlier that day and when I actually asked for help. Thank you Elvis ! First timer and I have definitely recommended them already. They don't always approach and greet you but when I needed help they were definitely there. Very friendly staff and affordable ! Everything was very easy and simple to find.
