Super slow service took me about 20 minutes and i was the only one in line yeah not good

This is the 2nd time I'm using Floor & Decor. They have a great selection of flooring which makes this a one-stop shop. In addition, they have designer services as well. We had several questions on our downstairs tile and how to match that with new laminate for the upstairs. We worked with a designer named Dee Dee. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was honest and offered her expertise on what would work best with our existing flooring and how to address our stairs, which is currently carpeted. If you need flooring and especially if you need designer services, I highly recommend working with Dee Dee. You will not regret it. read more

Always the best place to start when it comes to tile, grout, etc. Prices are decent, but there a less costly retailers. Floor and Decor does give you one of the best inventories and because of the warehouse concept you can easily compare multiple options . . . unlike retailers in strip centers where you are in a cramped space and constantly sliding sample pallets in and out of narrow openings thus only being able to see one-at-a-time. Lower (if not 'no') sales pressure versus other retailers, too. And, terms of returns seems fair. read more

Placed an order 3 days ago. Came to pickup today at 6 I was here came down from flagstaff. They told me they had all my material here when I ordered it got here and they sent me to a second store 40 minutes away. They told me 6:30 I would be loaded up and head to second store by 7. It's currently 8:20 and I still haven't been loaded. No other customers are here I've asked nicely and they keep telling me 30 more minutes read more

never have I seen so many employees trying to avoid icon contact and look busy. I walked the perimeter of the store ran into approximately 20 employees not one of them greeted me or asked if I needed help. I stood in line at a counter in the back of the store to ask a question while I watched four employees have a conversation for at least five minutes before someone acknowledged me. One of them put a mask on and averted eye contact , another was on the telephone and the other two were just chitchatting. I went to the cash register where there were three employees, two registers open and no other customers in sight. I stood there for over five minutes and during that time an employee called another employee to come to the front. And not one of the four employees at the register said, "will be right with you" so I'm left to assume they're doing nothing. Poorly trained and extremely disappointing. I thought someone should know because you're employing a lot of people to do nothing, literally nothing. read more

We received outstanding customer service today from Eileen in the pro premier department for contractors. She assisted us with verifying SKU and inventory numbers. She helped us to match grout on our large order and coordination between different stores for pick up. She definitely went above and beyond our expectations. Don't buy anything here and expect them to hold it for you. I bought the tile I picked out for my renovation and was ready to pickup the next day but they lost it. They did nothing to help. Complete waste of my time. read more

Dennis helped us out today and was amazing. He took into account the tile we were looking for (a natural stone tile), told us the positives and negatives to it, then compared it to porcelain and ceramic alternatives. He then walked us through the store showing us porcelain and ceramic tiles that had their own unique look while keeping them to the same general look and style we liked in the original natural stone. He even knew where each tile he wanted to show us was in the store, so we didn't waste time walking around. All in all, Dennis probably spent about 30-40 minutes with us, answering all our questions and making sure we are as well prepared as possible for our project. We didn't even have to ask for help; he came up to us and asked if there was anything we needed. Took home several samples today, I will be going back to make my purchase for the final product. read more

Love the flooring choices and pricing. Great customer service when you can find someone to help as thry are busy. If you look down the isles in the center of the store up high you will see signs that break down pricing including taking home a sample. Looking for tile that looks like wood. nothing but issues every time I come here. Workers are all over place. Always shows tile in stock then show up and they tell you it's all reserved. Have had three pick ups in the last two months and all three were missing boxes or accessories. then they try to grill you ans if youre trying to steal from them. Get it together. Today guy told me I couldn't load tile myself from main aisle. Proceeded to make my order and then say that it's all on hold for an order replacement.... Really!??? read more

The young unfriendly girl at the customer pick up that works on Sunday mornings has no customer service whatsoever. When I asked her a question, she had her head down and does not even make eye contact. It's too bad that customer service is no longer practiced today. She must be having a bad day and she decided to take it out on customers. I had better luck getting my question answered by this older woman that worked there. She was a lot nicer. read more

I came into the store looking for products that I could use for a backsplash as I am redoing my kitchen soon. I've never picked out backsplash and didn't really know exactly what I needed.. I walked in at around 1 o'clock in the afternoon on a sunday with my toddler. Walked around the store trying to figure out where the backsplash tile was. After walking around trying to figure out where it was was, looked at the options for about 10 minutes. Didn't really figure out what I needed so I asked an associate in the back if there's anybody in design that could help me as I was unsure of what kind of material would look well with the counter and cabinets for the remodel that I'm trying to do. He told me to go to design and that they could help. The I walked around the whole entire store , trying to figure out where the design area was. When I finally found it, I stood and waited for the one person that was there for another 10 minutes and then finally asked what I would presume was the manager on duty if there was anybody else that could help me since the lady at design was with somebody, I was waiting, and there was another Family behind me also waiting. He said that she was the one person who he had and had two other "design" associates on lunch at the same time but he would try to get somebody over. Walked around for another 30 minutes still not a clue what I was trying to look for and went back to the design area where I had waited hoping she had finished with the people I was originally waiting for, except she was helping the family that was waiting behind me while I was waiting for the original couple to finish. Stood and waited around for about an hour with no help and then ended up getting totally bypassed. I ended up just leaving Super frustrated as I couldn't get any help. especially being that I have a toddler with me trying to wait around for somebody's help for an hour and then being forgotten about and feeling unimportant as a potential Customer was not a good experience whatsoever. First time going in but probably never going back. Store is somewhat confusing to navigate and If you need help at this store don't expect to get it anytime soon. Find another warehouse that is willing to actually take the time to help their potential customers. Very very frustrating!!!! read more

I replaced the floor in my entire house with porcelain planks purchased from Floor and Decor. Unfortunately there was an issue with the grout on the original order. Josh Koch (Tile Dept Mgr) listened to my concerns and took accountability for the store even though he was not personally involved in the original order. Josh came up with a solution to resolve the issue. The replacement of the floors in my house took a few weeks longer than originally anticipated; however, the finished job is fantastic. Everyday I look at my floors and I'm amazed and thankful that a fiasco was turned into a floor which I have dreamed about and saved money to do for at least 12 years. Thank you Josh and thank you Floor and Decor. (In the future, I will be doing some tiling work in my kitchen. F&D will be my first stop.) read more

On February 09, 2024 Dennis assisted us on our flooring purchase he was great. We traveled 1 1/2 hours south from Prescott Valley to see Dennis particularly. First we called and spoke to Dennis on the phone where he told us of product in stock and if it was available very informative. When we walked into the Glendale store Dennis greeted us and helped till we finished buying 4100 square feet of flooring, grout, and the amount of thin set needed for a new construction home. Dennis even made sure to get the same lot number for all the tile to match on the floor throughout the home. He was extremely helpful and we will ask for him again, very pleased with Dennis. February 24, 2024 Well Dennis did it again!! We went down for a second time to purchase tile for a master shower and backsplash. Dennis greeted us as we walked in the door and showed us the tile we might be interested in for our use of a new home construction. He was great! Dennis helped gather the amount of particular tile pieces needed for our plans, along with all the amount of grout and thin set needed for both projects. This time we were able to take them home with us at the moment. Dennis took the time to walk to our vehicle and help load the product. He made the whole buying experience nice and easy . We have made many trip here as we are redoing our bathroom. For the most part the staff was ok. However when looking at a box of tile that we were buying we open the box to make sure that nothing was broken or damaged I had them laid out to make sure we would like the tiles as each box has it color variations. (One box was open)We look to make sure there was no signs saying that you couldn't. No sign posted . Then a employee walks by a say very condescending what are you guys doing. We explain that we were look at the tiles and she was rude and then very condescending said they are marble and have variation colors, and we're not allowed to open them. We apologize and she rolled her eye and walked away. This employee could of handle this situation way better. We are very disappointed with this trip to floor and decor. read more

We had bought tile for our laundry room floor and came up short when we were laying it during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Wasn't sure if we'd be able to get more pieces because of all the store closures during this time. I called the store and they said you just have to go online to order it and then you could drive around the backside to pick it up. Was very convenient and really was a relief to know that we could still finish our project. We have done most of the flooring in our home from supplies at floor and decor! read more

I received the worst services I have ever experienced at the Glendale store. I ordered tile for my whole house on 12/12 and paid in full. I was told to make sure that it was all dyed at the same time. They had some, but had to order the rest. I received an email that it was at the Mesa store and ready to be picked up. I called and verified that it was ready, but some was at the Glendale store and some was at the Mesa store. I requested it all be brought to the Glendale store, but I was told that they do not have trucks that go between stores. Fine. My "Tile Guy" would have to go to both stores to pick it up. Apparently, that is common. That Friday I received an email thanking me for picking up my tile. I called my "Tile Guy" and was told they did not pick it up. I called the Glendale store and spoke to the store manager Shawn. He figured out that all of my tile was delivered to the wrong Christine. My name is Christina by the way. I asked what was next. He said they would have to go to the lady's house to pick it up and bring it all to the Glendale store. Two days later he called to tell me that they went to go pick it up, but the delivery driver didn't bring the proper equipment needed to complete the pick up. This is when I was told that Floor and Decor does not have their own delivery drivers. This was a Tuesday. My install date is now 6 days away in 1/13. A full month after I started this fiasco. I never heard from Shawn so I called Thursday to see what was going on at 1:30 PM. I never heard from him so I went to the store and was told he was gone for the day. I spoke to another manager and told him I need to have my tile by Saturday. He called Shawn to see what happened. Shawn told him that he had to file paperwork with corporate enabling him to use a different delivery service. This will take 24 hours to review, and he could not provide a date that my tile would be retrieved and brought to me. You mean to tell me that you do not have one truck that can go get my tile in a situation like this? Nope! At this point I'm worried that my tile is broken because it has been moved around by idiots that can't be trusted to do it correctly. And it's now been at some random lady's house for days. They do not take returns if the boxes are open. And how do you check 105 boxes for broken tile without opening them? At this point I told them I just wanted a refund in full so I could go somewhere else. I was notified that they usually don't do refunds unless the tile is at the store but he'll "See what he can do." Ya! He said that!!. He also said that he would go ahead and entire an override to put it back on my card that I bought it with because the system wanted to mail me a check. NEVER AGAIN!! Extremely disappointed because I really like the tile I had picked out. read more

I took a wooden drawer from my kitchen. To look for counter top,flooring and back splash. I forgot it in the cart. I called 2 hours later. They had thrown it away and compacted it. I'm just sick. All wood. These people have no respect. And no good policies in place for things left in carts. Never will I buy from there. Selection was lousy too. read more

I used Floor and Decor for a remodel project back in 2018 (different place & house) so I thought I'd try them for a new project. Really rather disappointed this go-around. I liked the tile & price point, but customer service was very, very lacking. Nobody offered to help me & my spouse move the heavy tile boxes, either in store or to our vehicle (and we're not so young anymore). They also tried to match me with a very expensive installer & although I found my own for 1/3 the price, they just kept calling about it, even though I'd told the on-line system I'd hired my own. Then when I returned the left-over tile (with receipts), the cashier was incredibly rude and very snippy about it and made a big deal about not taking back ONE tile that cost a whooping $1.78 (out of several hundred dollars in my total order!) Lesson learned & I will NOT ever be back, even though I have more projects planned & I will NOT recommend this store to family, friends or neighbors. read more

For the past year I have been searching tile stores and online shopping looking for the perfect accent piece for my backsplash. This place was recommended to us by a friend who recently had her backsplash done. Upon walking in I was pleasantly surprised with all of the tile displays. My husband and I walked through the gallery and we saw it! I had finally found a tile that I loved and we knew the second we saw it. Thank god for the displays because it's so hard to envision what it will look like once on the wall. We stopped to ask Suzanne at the design center a few questions and she was so incredibly helpful! She showed us some different edging options than what we had picked and she was so spot on! She had the vision and it looked way better than what we had initially picked out. She walked through the store with us getting everything we needed to complete the job. She was incredible! This woman deserves a big shout out! I would recommend this place to anyone for any of your tile needs. They were great to work with and their prices were unbeatable! read more

Had a GREAT experience running in at the last minute to grab a few more boxes of tile for our bathroom project. With being pregnant, Dennis was able to help me by putting the boxes in the cart, going up to the register with my mom and I to pay and then load them into my car! I hate to throw around discrimination, I really do but I have been to very few places that have made me feel as under valued as a customer as I did at this Floor and Decor location. We are remodeling our bathroom and already purchased the tile (from a Floor and Decor and it wasn't cheap) our contractor told us we needed edging and shower boxes. We came to this Floor and Decor and asked for help from FIVE people. The one man who wanted to help us was already with someone, a red headed man pointed and gave us no information was was very willing to help the next person who walked up one on one and so on and so on. Every other set of customers that asked for help was given in depth help picking out what they needed. We ended up walking out not buying anything that we had cobbled together through google searches from the sheer principle. When we told the front of the store. The girl gave a snarky "thank you, bye" and that was it for me. I don't know if it's my dressed down attire, the fact I'm "young" looking or 9 months pregnant but I felt very singled out and discriminated against. To quote Pretty Women "I got money to spend" on a lengthy and pricey bathroom remodel but it won't be at this Floor and Decor. read more

I'm a 70 year retired Interior designer , I sold my design co 6 years ago and moved to Phoenix . examples of my work has been featured on home and garden television, style sections of Denver post , and several Trade magazines ,so not my first rodeo .I went to floor and decor to shop for glass subway tile for a bathroom remodel . I've shopped here before ,had no complaints until now , I found tiles @ $199 a tile . four walls in bright white ,one wall in dark gray. floor to ceiling .approx $1000.no mastic or grout just tile . The tiles were in boxes ,different colors displayed .most we're open ,each tile is individually marked with a price tag . white boxes were opened.I got one tile . the gray tile boxes were not open .there were however 4 tiles left on the shelf. All four had visible scratches . Fortunately, a salesman happened by at the right time and asked if he could help. I explained the situation that I needed a white and gray tile for a sample board for a major remodel.. his reply was surprising . no , I'm not going to open a box for you for one tile . I explain to him I didn't want to build a display board with a scratched tile , I didn't want the design rejected because the tile was too expensive or appeared to delicate for the job. ....blank stare well is there at least a discount on it? I asked . Why would I pay full price ? no he said . if you want one they're $1.99 a title. You can't sell them ,they are scratched I said ,thinking he would just give it to me as a sample, ,,,, no. He said if it's scratched and you can't use it ,you can bring it back . keep your receipt. Then blank stare, He wasn't being ugly about it, just unconcerned . more concerned about opening a box than helping a paying customer . it was apparent he wasn't going to help . The staff at the Glendale, AZ store was excellent. I looked around for 2 hours and was left alone to do so. I was offered assistance, which at the time I didn't need, and was politely helped when I did. Even other customers were nice! Questions answered with a good attitude, joked around with one associate, everyone was exceptionally nice. So much selection! Prices were reasonable. I made some choices & plan on returning to purchase the quantities I need when I have final measurements. The store is practicing social distancing and mandated mask requirements, so I had to wait outside for approx 2 minutes before I could enter. I had my own mask. read more

We've have gone in here a few times over the past few years to look at flooring. Each time the staff was friendly and helpful. When we were finally ready to pull the trigger on LVP or Porcelain tile we spoke to Olivia at the designer table. She convinced us porcelain tile was the way to go. I had my doubts about LVP as I've always hated they say scratch resistant but it's anything but. Take a screw driver even on their new Techtanium flooring and pull it across a piece even without much force and IT WILL leave a scratch you can not get out. Not with tile. We were a bit indecisive on what to use and Olivia recommended Soft Ash wood look Made in Italy tile after showing her pics of our place. We pulled the trigger and she was absolutely correct. We'll done Olivia! Go see her if you're looking, she is sweet and soft spoken, not pushy and made a great recommendation! read more
