I normally don't write bad reviews, but I hope this review helps someone avoid the nightmare and 10's of thousands of dollars wasted on flooring recommended by Prosource. During a significant remodel of our home, we relied on ProSource of Phoenix to help guide us through major design decisions and provide quality products worthy of the investment we were making. One of the largest and most important selections was nearly $30,000 in Mohawk engineered hardwood flooring (a product we were assured by ProSource would bring both beauty and durability to our home). Mohawk floor was recommended by Prosource. Unfortunately, when serious issues arose with the flooring quickly deteriorating and splintering, ProSource chose to hide behind Mohawk's denial rather than truly advocate for their customer. Instead of taking ownership or helping push toward a meaningful resolution, they essentially became paper pushers for the claim process. Two independent investigators identified flooring issues and no evidence of our misuse. As homeowners, we were left dealing with a defective product, mounting stress, and an estimated $10,000-$12,000 in labor costs, while the only resolution offered was replacement minimal material with no labor compensation. That is not what we expected after making such a substantial investment through a design and flooring professional. A company's value is proven when problems arise, not just during the sale. Sadly, our experience left us feeling unsupported and abandoned once the transaction was complete. Think twice before investing substantial money into products and promises that may not be supported when things go wrong. read more

My only recommendation would be to run. We were working on a tight timeline to order and receive kitchen cabinets, this was communicated, and we were assured it was a 3-4 week timeline and that the company was out of kingman, nearby, and great customer care. All customer service was great with our salesperson and our designer until a few weeks after ordering. When we were at the 3 week mark I called to find out the status and they told me there was a 1-2 week delay and that then it might be an additional 1-2 weeks for delivery. They said they were sorry, this happens often. No explanation for why they had not reached out to communicate this. I communicated that if I had been told this before purchasing I would have gone with in stock cabinets. The subsequent attempts to get them to, at the very least, attempt to expedite delivery or try to arrange for us to pick up our own cabinets, were met with they would ask. Nothing was done to expedite. The delivery service communicated that there was never a request for expedited delivery and there was nothing we could do other than deal with a 2 week delay of our project and rescheduling of all of our contractors. So unless you are okay with having no timeline I would avoid this vendor. read more

This is our second remodel in 3 yrs. Our first was in Idaho and Prosource was recommended to us by our realtor so we went with them and our cabinet specialist was a guy and he abruptly quit and left us hanging!!! So when we got the new specialist her name was Tricia Metz! She stepped right into the job and designed our beautiful cabinets!!!! So when we moved to Gilbert we asked our realtor for a recommendation for cabinets and he recommended Prosource here!!! We had NO idea it was a chain. So we went and low and behold our cabinet specialist was none other than Tricia!!!!! She moved too!! She has become a trusted friend who even came and saw our house and what we meant about what we wanted!! She added arches and a shelf to her design and it all fit like a glove and looks AMAZING!! I would recommend Prosource and Tricia to anyone who asks!!! read more

My wife and I have made 6 visits to ProSource in 2022 as our new build home is taking much longer than originally thought. In the process and after we made our interior finish selections, the Builder changed cabinet makers which forced us to re-do all of our interior finishes including all the colors selections. Many of these visits have included superior TLC from ProSource's outstanding Account Manager Vince Celaya. He has been with this Group for a decade and most recently we discovered a part of their vast Showroom which we had never even seen. One could find items for every room in a home. Very well laid out. Yet it is Vince that has kept us coming back each time. His knowledge of the new build & remodeling industry as well as his breadth info for the entire ProSource product line truly blew us away. We are very particular and savvy customers and Vince knew how to manage us. He is so very genuine and patient knowing all the twists and turns this journey has taken. Buyer beware....... had a horrible experience with my salesperson providing the contractor he recommended with my previous bids. The person they recommended only had a home improvement limited license....for my two complete bathroom remodels which is a severe license violation. Went into Pro Source for my bathroom tile. Michael, a designer there gave me incredible ideas. He endured multiple calls and questions from me. The two bathrooms are complete and gorgeous. Our contractor referred us to Prosource for backsplash tiles for our kitchen. Their selection is amazing--absolutely no comparison to places like Lowe's or Home Depot. We found a tumbled marble we wanted, and then Bernie had to fight to find a place that actually carried it and had a timeline for delivery. She succeeded! Plus, the tile was at a fabulous price. Our kitchen is now done. I love, love, love the backsplash. We'll return to Prosource for home improvement supplies in the future. read more

Update: After the initial review went live we heard from Bob and as of today 6/8/22 he has resolved the area rug issue. Since beginning of April (after documentation and photos and ProSource agreeing the sample and the area rug are not the same) still waiting on the refund for the area rug. Not sure why it's taking so long...this on the heals of the carpet installers chipping/cracking a vanity top...which did get resolved but only after a very negative encounter with the installer and a scathing review that got the attention of Bob at ProSource. I said it before and I will say it again ProSource panders to the installers and manufacturers leaving the consumer hanging. So unfortunately we will never recommend or use ProSource again. I work with a general contractor so he was able to get me into Prosource to do some shopping for a 300 square foot tile job. Our 7 month old lab was not happy when he was neutered and couldn't go for walks or swim in the pool for 14 days. He took it out on our carpet. I also picked out some transition tile to bridge the two tiles together. The 13x13 inch tile was easier to order, but the transition tile took more time to come in. Barb was the person who helped us pick out the tile and she was really patient and sensitive to our budget and helping us match the color of our old tile. I only had a photo of it on my android phone, but it worked out just fine. I could see myself getting carried away in a store like this if I ever had to redo a kitchen or bathroom. Every piece of tile in the store was so beautiful and so much better looking than our old tile. Maybe someday we'll remove all of our old tile and high traffic carpet downstairs... read more

Horrible Customer Service! They do not provide any service after the sale. Their Showroom Manager gives lip service and does not follow through. Keep reading, it gets worse. Recently, we purchased cabinetry through ProSource. They specified a Ventilation Hood for my project that met the specifications of the 48" Range. However, the contractor who was referred by ProSource, was not provided the specs and installation instructions for the ventilation blower. Because the blower required installation in the "attic", not the wall like most blowers, he was unable to install without going through the soffit/ceiling after remodel work had been completed. ProSource neglected to provide the proper information to build out correctly. The showroom manager at ProSource has no experience or knowledge of remodels, construction or contractors and has not been of assistance. He does not return phone calls or emails & has not provided an update for how we resolve the issue which is delaying the project completion. We have been without any information from ProSource & their contractor for a week. We have also discovered, the contractor is not licensed. read more

I purchased tile from ProSource Wholesale for a total remodel of 3000 Sq. Ft. They got the tile from Monterey Tile. Not only did they refer me to an unlicensed installer who did a crappy job, turns out the tile is defective. I had an independent inspection done, and they confirmed it. I can email the report to anybody who wants to see it. Warpage, scratching from a glazing issue, and worse, it pits holes. They don't want to deal with it, nor does Monterey Tile. Response to ProSource below. Yes, we were given some extra tile during installation due to the huge warpage, but the issue of the glaze, scratching and divots was not addressed. I was told that the manufacturer gave Monterey Tile "push back" and did not want to deal with the defect. According to legal, I have to sue the source where my money went, so that is ProSource. That is where the warranty needs to be. New ownership should have a provision in their purchase agreement for warranty issues. That is not the customers problem. read more

It's in a nice location, but that is the only thing I can say about this store. The store manager Robert Rangel was the guy helping me, he was worthless. It took a month an a half to get some of the product, which was only suppose to take a week. He never called when came in, I had to keep calling. My quarter round took 2 months to get. The showroom has a lot of nice tile. Unfortunately, when the installer went to pick up the tile, the wrong tile was given to him. Please take my advice and go to pick up your own tile. Do not leave it to the store personnel to get the right product for you. They refused to accept responsibility for their obvious error. read more

We purchased new carpeting in January 2021. In June, we had a small flood that required us to re-carpet the master closet. Marty Dunleavy was there and helped us thru the process. He was timely, polite, thorough and quick to respond to our calls. Marty did exactly what he needed to get our carpet back to the way it was in a matter of a little over a week. Marty was able to help with installers names because he knows everyone is busy and this gave us choices. We would call Marty again for our flooring/tiling needs. read more

My family used ProSource Phoenix for a bathroom remodel on two separate instances. Both times the wrong tile was packaged in the wrong boxes. We've asked for assistance to facilitate a return and exchange and our sales rep Bernie Trejo said our order was beyond 30 day return policy. A policy by the way which is non-existent on any of their paperwork. The owner promised to look into the matter. We're still waiting for a response. They have a wide selection of products. I bought flooring from them after my installer recommended them over HomeDepot or Floor Decor. I went and worked with Bob. They are very professional but a bit more pricey then the other places I mentioned. But you get personal service and a quick turnaround. I was working to a deadline and had to have my floors installed before my move date. Bob managed to get my order in and even worked to give me a discount. I will go back for my counters . read more
