I stopped in this morning needing a bit of help. I am trying to install laminate flooring into a hundred square feet, my home office. I've never done it before and was having trouble with different tools and cutting the flooring to size. This morning I brought a sample piece of the flooring in and talk to James, who showed me the right kind of cutter, demonstrated it and gave me a short tutorial with some tips and tricks for a successful installation. We came in to purchase quartz for our countertops and asked to see the actual slabs. The lady helping us said that we would need to go to the warehouse, but she didn't know where it was. We asked her to find out. She finally sent us across town to somewhere called Front Range Stone. When we got there, we were completely ignored by three staff members, despite the fact that we were the only customers there. We asked for help, and were still ignored. We finally just left. It is rare that I would write to commend an employee, but our service yesterday from Katlyn was exceptional! We have never purchased or looked at tile before and were lost within the store. Katlyn took us and explained the different tiles to us, showed us around the store, and then helped us pick out what we needed. She went the extra mile and helped us figure out how much we needed and the color grout to match. Got a cart and loaded up what we needed. After contacting Floor and Decor about issues we were having with our new flooring cracking, we were told to first pay $450 for an inspection, then we were told to pay $1200 for a repair, by the company they recommended we use to install. The warranty was ignored. I recently received the following response form F& D: "Thank you for your response. As a retailer of hard surface flooring, Floor and Decor recommends that all customers maintain the ambient interior conditions specified by the manufacturer for the life of the product through all seasons. The checks and small splits you are experiencing are locally caused by heat differences and possible moisture intrusion. Please review the attached documentation for additional information." They sent a review of weather conditions, i.e. humidity, in Denver, CO. The warranty is of no use, do not fall for this warranty discussion with F& D, it won't cover anything. Also, at NO TIME did the sales team, the contractor or the installer tell us the flooring would crack in Denver climate conditions. They now want us to install a humidifier for our home in addition to all the floor prep. Pretty sketchy. Buy from a company who will stand by the product! I have flipped 13 houses in Denver, will never use these guys again. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! We have experienced the WORST service here. They got our order wrong once. We were promised by the manager it would be fixed the second time, and it was still wrong. My wife and I went back to the store the second time our flooring came in wrong, and the manager told his own service rep to speak to me as he refused to speak to me. We have no received a third order, are putting them in our house and they're still wrong. Julie is a gem at this Floor Decor location. Our contractor provided a supply list for us to purchase for our bathroom shower remodel. My husband and I had no clue what some of the supplies were or the correct sizes. We were saved by Julie. She took a look at our contractor list, walked with us to each of the items to put on our cart, gave us good recommendations on product and a couple of bling recommendations for our niche. Worst store ever. This place sold us an used/or incomplete box of tile cutter. The tile cutter was missing parts!! I brought it back couple hours later and they refused to refund me. They said I can go buy the missing parts. Excuse me? Parts would take 2 week to arrive. I don't have 2 weeks. After I had to throw a fit and arguing they finally decided to do the return. Everyone here is extremely rude and unfriendly, so is the manager. Go to any of the other Floor & Decor locations, you'll be better off. These people don't know what they are doing. read more

this place is buzzing with activities and yes, they are huge. from outside, looks very quite but once you get in, they are filled with so many choices and such. I loved to look at all those clearance items, store displays with lots of ideas and racks and racks of flooring items and also supplies for the professional remodelers and wanna bees. its gonna be my go to place to get that something special. its kinda like..go to friends house and they have tile that's the same kind as you have that you got from either HD or Costco.. for ladies, its like wearing the dress to special party and you see another person wearing the exact same kind. avoid that mistake and shop here! read more

I came on yelp this morning to write a not so great review after my most recent visit to this store. In this day and age of companies getting a bad wrap for a misunderstanding I instead waited and contacted costumer service first. After a quick response asking for my contact information, they then had Matt from the store call me directly. To say I'm blown away by his kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help rectify would be an understatement. I was looking for more of just an understanding of policy as a resolution and he went above and beyond. While our visit this morning was disappointing, Matt definitely made it right and I have no doubt that he will insure that this type of situation will not occur again. The bamboo floor I was looking into was unable to be traced to where it was made and is suspected to release harmful VOC's when installed. They have cheep products but that comes a cost to your health and the environment. Look into what you're about to cover the floor of your home with, many of the products cause cancer and breathing problems. read more

But, I wanted to give the store one more chance, so I went back a different day. Ms. Chrissy was so friendly and so helpful! I've historically had great experiences at Floor and Decor. They have great selection and great prices and are therefore busy. Patience is sometimes a must yet worth it. Today I arrived at 6:53pm. They close at 7pm. I had just about shut my car door when the floor and decor parking lot greeter barked with a bit of threatening tone and without eye contact- "we close in 2 minutes". I'm sure there are customers that walk into the store at 6:58 PM and expect a full design consultation for their 6000 square-foot remodel. This was the second day I arrived in their parking lot knowing they close at 7 PM. Yesterday I wasn't allowed past the front door threshold at 6:59 PM. I understood. Today - even though last minute, I intended to make quick business about scanning the perimeter of the store for inventory and prices on a few common items. I represent commercial and residential clients that require large quantities of flooring for tenant improvement, tenant finish, and new construction and wanted to explore an outlet beyond my wholesale favorite ProSource. Since I was greeted so very rudely in the parking lot AND informed over the loud speaker at 6:55pm, 6:58pm and finally 7pm, by the same parking lot charmer, that the store was closing/closed etc... it occurred to me I should pull out my novella and read it in the vinyl section while sitting on a stack of overstock. I behaved myself. I stayed the course. I was out the door well before the last customer at the cash register while pushing the limit exiting at 7:01pm. What was even more disturbing than my personal experience was the dozen or so red vests milling around solo while customers that had arrived in the store (inside the mandatory time frame acceptable to employees with microphone Power) painstakingly loaded their own carts w heavy flooring w ZERO help. Then had the price ledge of racing to the front of the store to PAY for said purchases while still meeting the triple informed deadline. Phew. I'm proud to say I made it out in the nick of time without incident. Covid wears on all of us. When you have a retail store seemingly brimming with staff, I would suggest there be a leadership meeting that takes on training around some version of an elevated customer service experience. In this case "marginal and on the verge of polite" would be an improvement. I'm hoping it was just a bad day as I prefer to find reasons to do business versus not. read more

I was so very impressed with my experience in working with the Designer Sage. She did a wonderful job in helping me pick out backsplash tile for both a kitchen project and 2 bathrooms. She was very patient and had lots of great ideas and I was very pleased with what we chose. Then, when the kitchen tile got installed, we ran into an unexpected challenge and had to find a creative way to solve it. I was able to get an appt the very next day and Sage came to the rescue with a great solution of how to incorporate a complimentary tile to the project to turn our problem into a totally awesome new design element. Operation: Home Renovation 2017 After closing on our house, we opted to replace the carpet and tile on the upper level and streamline the place with a laminate wood floor. We looked at Home Depot and Lowe's and weren't impressed by anything we saw. We got to talking with a few realtors and home builders who all raved about Floor & Decor's pricing, quality(and longevity) of products and how installation is made easy. So after taking a load to the new house, we stopped in! There are SO many options for every kitchen, bathroom and everyday room needs! The selection is fantastic, yet overwhelming due to the sheer volume of options. We opted for a grey(ish) laminate wood that was spill proof, scratch proof and SIMPLE to install. Although the store is designed to put the more expensive options up front, we were able to find exactly what we wanted for about the same cost as other stores. We simply placed the order, date for pick up (delivery is also available for an additional cost) and were greeted by a nice team who put the palate of boxes into our truck.The process was easy, the staff was nice and helpful, and I look forward to returning for any future needs! Purchased a floor tile from there. One of the boxes was broken and we were told that they would order a new one. Several weeks later someone from Floor and Decor called and said the box was ready to pick up. Drove the hour to get there and I was told that they didn't have a box for me. The box was actually at a store in Utah, not Denver. I was told by a supervisor that they would take care of getting that box to me. Of course, no one from that store ever followed with a phone call and I have yet to hear from them. The Utah store called again and asked me when I was going to pick up the tile which I said I would not be picking up since it was in Utah and I live in Colorado. I went ahead and ordered additional boxes (paid the extremely high shipping fee since they don't carry product in the stores that they display in the stores). Received notice that the shipment was ready for pick up and scheduled my pick up time. Arrived at the store and they told me their system was down and I should come back later. Again, it is an hour drive. This is the most dysfunctional business that I have ever done business with in my life. I regret purchasing anything from this place and should have gone to a locale small business or even Home Depot to purchase. Will never purchase from this place again. read more

I love all the stuff here unfortunately if you have a question and call them they won't answer the phone, I called all day from 10 to 5 where I gave up and decided to drive over there. When I found what I was looking for the four people standing around said go ahead and go grab a cart it's in the main aisle, all the isles look like the main aisle. Floor & Decor - Waiting to check out - Home Decor Near Me - Highlands Ranch, Colorado

Buyer Beware: we went to floor and decor and purchase flooring and what the design center Anna recommended. We were there again to purchase additional flooring and we were advised we were upsold the wrong underlayment. The correct underlayment cost $60-each and they upsold us to $300each roll. Turns out the wrong underlayment can cause buckling. The highlands ranch store agreed to provide correct underlayment and impacted floor. They didn't want to cover installation so they asked us to go through their escalation team. This is a scam. The escalation team sends out inspector and looks for reasons like baseboards too tight, tight vents, and heat in one room as the reason of causing the issue in all the rooms. The issue is that we were sold the wrong underlayment. Our floor would be fine if it has the correct underlayment. The prior floor was fine. This is just an excuse for the store to use corporate and point fingers and no one takes responsibility. Do not trust any advice received from Anna at the design center as it may end up costing you thousands in replacement floor and cause you to have to uninstall and reinstall floors. Do not trust anyone at this store as they assure you they will Take care of it, and then leave you high and dry! read more

Think of any floor type, any! Okay now go to F&D and you'll find it. Not quite magic, but still impressive. I almost got a little overwhelmed with the number of options they have... Do I want water proof? How thick of a floor? Light? Dark? Which color? Wowza. This place was key in helping me with a major home renovation. They also help load the flooring into your car, which is really thoughtful. So far, the price I paid for my flooring is reflected really well - it's excellent quality. UPDATE: Forgot to mention F&D's delivery service (Bungii) did not deliver all of my material in the first load. They DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME. I had to find out myself. Ended up loading and unloading 35 sheets of hardie backer MYSELF because F&D insisted upon using Bungii again and still couldn't tell me when it would be delivered. STAY AWAY. This has to be the worst experience I've ever had with a flooring company. Employees know nothing. Actually had an employ move the employee helping me out of the way to check someone else out while I was in progress (since the person helping me knew NOTHING). Check out process terrible. They use an app-based delivery service Bungii which is even worse. Complete cluster trying to get my $4K worth of tile delivered. Think "door dash" for tile delivery. The first thing you get from them is a TOS text stating upfront they have no responsibility for the actual delivery???? Guy doesn't show until after 8pm. Oh, and they won't talk to you - text only.... nice when they're busy screwing you around. Save yourself multiple hassles - go to Home Depot, Lowes, ANYBODY else. This place is a joke..... read more
