The red flags where there from the start, when he gave me a bid he had a crew ready to go the next Monday because they had no other jobs on (a general contractor in Denver 2018 with no work?) and the general contractor rolled up to work on the first day in shorts, socks and sandals driving a cadillac sedan, so i hold myself partly to blame for hiring him, the signs were there. He is the absolute worst, he cannot work a spirit level (my "leveled" kitchen floor has a 1 1/4 inch height difference from wall to wall) not to mention his ability with a tape measure. The man is clueless and a disgrace to his profession. If you find yourself using this clown make sure you get everything in writing and hold a lot of money back upon completion of a punch list, and trust me, there will be a lengthy punch list. I would recommend you hire a handyman off craigslist, it could't be much worse.
