Floor and decor gets me. I want to get in and out quickly. Children in tow who have the attention span of, well, NOTHING, we have to get in and out in a jiffy. We found a tile we liked for our kitchen backsplash and they were low on stock. No other location had it. The person that assisted us was helpful and advised that we call in our order (to customer service) and they'd ship it to our house and I did just that. I would have preferred to cash and carry, but no problem, this worked out just fine. read more

We are remodeling 3 homes - so making many trips to Floor and Decor on County Line Rd. I truly appreciate the 'over the top' (and unexpected) excellent customer service we received several times from Mike. He consistently provides expert help regarding grout and schluters, to name a few. We never have to roam throughout the store to search for assistance, which is common practice in most businesses today. Thank you for having such a professional employee available! read more

If there was a tile made --- this place has it. I'm always impressed with the selection and often times find myself trying to think of how I might incorporate a cool tile in my house. The prices are very comparable to other tile stores and cheaper than the big box competition. The service is usually pretty darn good (with a few exceptions). I highly recommend and encourage you to check it out --- even if you are not int he market for new tile ---- because you might chnage your mind. read more

I needed a small amount of stacked stone for a fireplace remodel job and Floor and Decor had limited staff when I visited them. Connie, Design Manager, knocked herself out for us. She lifted heavy stone and sorted through boxes of broken stone to get us enough good pieces to complete our project. She got us a good price in addition. Connie had a great work ethic which I found refreshing. I highly recommend this store but in particular, Connie. read more

If I could not give any stars it would still be too many. In December, I placed an order in the store for a client. This is the letter that I wrote to the manager, Charles Charvat, on March 5th. On December 18, 2017, I received an email that the order I had placed for a client was ready for pick-up. That order was picked up by my contractor on December 26, 2017. The order was incorrect, however, there was no way for my contractor to know this since he was given no paperwork to check it against. I received an email on December 26th that my order had been picked up. From what I could see, everything should have been correct. My contractor installed the tile in a large walk in shower. Once he was done and ready to put the trim pieces in, he noticed that the trim pieces that he had were a different color. Everything was supposed to be Bright White, but the field tile that we received was a biscuit color. Upon seeing this, my contractor called me to see why the trim pieces were different. I told him that everything should be bright white. I went to the job and saw that the wrong tile had been given. I immediately went to the store on December 29, and spoke to 2 gentlemen that said they were managers, as you were not in the store but were expected back that day. One of the managers was named Cole. I can't remember the other person (Maybe Henry) but he fixed my order, pulled the correct tile and said that he would have you call me because I now had the added expense of having my contractor remove the tile he had installed and reinstall the new tile. I did not hear back from anyone regarding this problem. On January 3rd, I called the store again to see if I could get some assistance. Cole called me back a little later and explained that the best he could do was a $250 store credit. To be honest, since I had to contact Floor & Décor because nobody would call me when they said they would, I told Cole that I wasn't sure I wanted to do business with Floor & Décor in the future. He wasn't happy that I felt the offer was lacking, especially since I paid my contractor much more than that to fix the error and my client was extremely irritated at the extra time it took. Cole asked if I wanted this referred to a different department to review and I said yes. To date I have not heard one word either way from Floor & Décor. I would really appreciate someone contacting me regarding this situation. Believe me, I understand that mistakes happen. But the woman on the loading dock specifically told me that nobody verified my order when it was filled or when it was picked up by my contractor. In addition, I am always the one that has to contact you. I don't judge my vendors on if something goes wrong because sooner or later, something will. I judge my vendors on how they perform when something goes wrong. Your store has not performed well at all. I will ask again to be contacted to make this situation right. I understand that you cannot pay the $800 that I paid my contractor to correct the mistake made. But I will say that $250 in tile that doesn't cost you anywhere near that is not something that I feel is a fair settlement. Especially when I am once again forced to take my time to contact you about this matter. I hope to hear from you or someone in your organization soon. UPDATE: To date, I still have not heard a word AND I just heard from my contractor that another client picked up their order and he found that they had mixed both matte and polished tiles for the steam shower that he is installing. The biggest problem??? He's in Dillon where he will now have to drive 2 hours each way to fix another of their mistakes. read more

I purchased tiles from this location and they were unable to fulfill them, so they had them shipped from their Dallas location. I used the Floor and Decor 3rd party shipping company and all of my tiles arrived broken. 12 boxes - $400 worth of tiles. I just spoke with the store and they are asking me either to pay a fee to have the broken tiles picked up or collect 12 boxes worth of broken tiles to bring into their store. Pick up new tiles and then drive them back across town. There staff is less than helpful - that's if you can get someone to answer the phone. read more

Phenomenal selection of tile and flooring- much better than Home Depot or Lowe's. Better displays as well, and great selection of quality grout. Prices seem reasonable. Could use a few more carts and cashiers, however. Also- don't like that you have to pay to ship to the store. They want to charge more than the tile itself!! I was initially thrilled with the price, selection, and friendly staff. We were nervous about our product estimates and the fact that our contractor would not begin our project until all items were on hand. We discussed this with floor/decor and were assured that so long as they still carried the product, we could return all unused product. We asked this numerous times and were assured this would be no problem. Apparently they have now changed their policy and refused any refund for our unused product. We had other tile from both Lowes and Home Depot- they accepted our excess product returns without issue and now wish we would have exclusively used their products. Floor & Decor refused to honor the return policy that was in place when we made our purchases citing their new "90 day return" plan. We purposefully over-bought because of the prior policy. We are in a new community & we are trying to get the word out to purchase elsewhere. We told our contractor DCH to notify their future customers and will be posting in the Inspiration neighborhood FB pages. read more

I needed tile for my kitchen, master bathroom, guest bathroom and fireplace. It was very easy to pick a bunch of potential tiles, take home to consider and then return what was the "no-gos". UPDATE. After much disappointment with these guys I got a phone call from Rob who said he was the operations manager. After letting me know who he was and that he wanted to make this situation right, to get this review changed, we engaged in a conversation. During our conversation he tried to tell me that my interpretation of the sale price was wrong, I immediately cut in and the conversation escalated and told him the THEY put the price there and there was NO misinterpretation on my end at all what so ever and that it was THEIR problem. He said he didnt want to get into an argument, I told him there was no argument he could present, I told him that I would send him the pic I took of the tag if he liked and he declined. If you want to make something right, be sincere about it. Well, after trying to dodge responsibility, he finally manned up and honored the price that was CLEARLY marked with a deceptive caveat at the bottom that made no sense. Well, Maybe there is a chance for them albeit small. My wife was very happy that he honored the price and refunded the difference. My advice to anyone going down there is, take a picture of the tag and watch what you are charged. Floor and Decor does have very good products at decent prices (2 stars), which is why I have shopped there and referred people there for years but, their customer service has very much to be desired and negates all that. My advice to floor and decor is this, hire knowledgeable people that don't try to fill people full of the standard issue "lighting changes everything" and "after its grouted it will look great" BS. Try hiring some former tile setters that actually know what they are talking about, mark your sale tags so they are not deceptive and perhaps send your employees to customer service classes. read more

We run a remodeling company in Douglas County, and this Floor and Decor location is located right in the center of 90% of our remodels. We have spent tens of thousands of dollars at this location and there is only 2 reasons for this. Prices, and location... If I had another choice with the great location and the great prices, I would never step foot in this store again. Over the years this store has caused so many problems with orders and availability and the utter lack of customer service. Out of all our vendors we've ever worked with this store has hands down the worst customer service of any store we deal with. I have literally been in line before with a long line behind me customers waiting for over 20 mins to check out and have had the cashier sign off and say I'm going to lunch right in front of everybody... see ya! The one cashier left was left alone to deal with a crowd of people and nobody would come help even though she called on the radio for help. This is just one of countless examples. Over the years we have finally made our own "Floor and Decor" policy within our own company. If we have a client who wants tile from F&D we have to pick it up right away, if there is not enough or they have to order more. We will not use that particular tile. And when going in to the store, we avoid any contact with employees at all cost. Get in-get out. I don't have time to deal with rude and non knowledgeable employees. The outright lies this store has told with selling merchandise that was relabeled and sold at highly discounted rates and then the leftovers-trashed and the employee talking about the homeowner in the way they did last year is unacceptable. We have had 2 meetings within our company just on the topic of whether or not we will ever use F&D again just so it does not reflect badly on our company with all the bad publicity around them. ( We have had 2 clients this year talk about not wanting to go there because of the publicity around this store) If this store could be run in a Truett Cathy type of customer service model, I guarantee they could double their profit, just by gaining more clientele due to people avoiding it like the plague. They have HUGE potential... Great location, Great selection, great setting materials etc. Just wipe the whole employee bank and start over with highly trained and motivated staff. read more

Took me 15 minutes to load up the samples I was returning- several Associates walked by collecting carts, but no one offered to help. Walked up to the door with the tile to return, and if possible to put in my order, which was already in the system. It was just turning 7 o'clock and I was told they were closed and to come back tomorrow. Didn't offer to help me load all the tile back into my car. Will go elsewhere - 1500 sq ft- not a cheap order and I value customer support. I live pretty far away and was told to come here, but I'll be going to a place closer to home and with better reviews. read more

Floor and Decor has some good things about it. It's convenient, it has a lot of tile in stock so you don't have to wait for back orders, and customers can purchase themselves as they sell to the general public. They also sell some good products for tile and wood flooring from brands like Bostik, Mapei and Bona. They also have the worst customer service of any store I've ever been do. They have constant employee turnover. And most of the employees have no industry experience at all. They will hire anyone who breathes. They do have a couple of good employees (literally 2) but they are usually busy with other people. If you are a professional, it's best to get what you need and don't ask questions because it is a complete waste of time and they will give you the wrong answer. read more

Terrible customer service both times I've been here and will definitely not be going back. The first time I came here was to look at butcher block countertops. After I finally found an employee, all she could say was, "Well, people don't really buy these for counters," even though we were standing in front of the butcher block counter display. (I ended up buying them at IKEA.) After I finished the countertops, I returned to Floor & Decor to attend the backsplash workshop advertised on their website. After some arguing between the employees of who would do it, someone finally volunteered. She took us to the backsplash materials and said, "Just watch some YouTube videos. You'll figure it out." Stopped in here with my Husband today looking to get supplies for remodeling our basement bathroom. We were asked by an associate ( Devena ) if we needed help. I declined at first and continued to browse. However, I'm glad my intuition led me back to her for advice. Devena is excellent with customer service all around the board. We asked her several questions and she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with her own advice as well as the products. I highly recommend her for assistance if you are having trouble wrapping your head around the many decisions when it comes to home decor and remodeling. She also informed us that she has sold a couple of "dream" bathrooms ( I'm sure they are FABULOUS). Make her your go-to girl and you won't be disappointed! read more

We checked out and the girl at the register asked if we would like help putting in our vehicle and I told her Yes, she called for assistance and we got Shayne. He was AWESOME! Based on my two experiences in my total of two visits to the County Line Floor and Decor, I suspect this review will fall on deaf ears, but, I need to vent. The first time we went, we stopped at the "design center" and dealt with a girl who kept talking in circles, contradicted herself, then got belligerent when we pointed these facts out. Then, today, we came back for a specific product and went through several boxes to get the exact right color mix. As we walked toward the checkout to spend several hundred dollars, we were accosted by Kim, who demanded in very rude terms that we go back and clean up our mess. Our "mess" consisted of ten, or so, empty boxes and a stack of 12" x 12" pebble backsplash squares. It took me a mere two or three minutes to rebox the squares and yet Kim was so lazy that she would rather cause a scene and demean a paying customer than do a little work tidying a display. In a monumental display of projection, she accused me of being rude! I was nowhere near rude, rude would have consisted of me telling her what a b***h she was, but since I am not rude, I didn't. If you want excellent customer service provided by people who understand the concept of design and treating customers right, go to The Tile Shop on Arapahoe Road, it costs a little more but you won't get yelled at or be treated in such a way that makes YOU want to yell at someone. read more

I want to thank Kyle Zimmerman, your E 40th store in Denver. As soon as I walked in the store, Kyle asked me did I need any help and I said yes. I explained to him what I was looking for and it was some tile for my remodeling project for kitchen back splash. I wanted it to match my granite counter top, Kyle was a tremendous help and I found what I was looking for. Also, on Saturdays, Kyle instructs the "Do It Yourself" class for back splashes and wood floor etc.. This was really neat, he showed me how to make correct tile cuts using a wet tile saw and how to mix mortar and grout to the right consistency. I saw a product I was interested in that was located on the clearance section. No sign or price to mark the product. It sat next to clearance per piece items as well as bulk buy for one price items. I was told one price on a Friday night (no sign). Went back to buy on Saturday and was told I needed to speak you manager to purchase almost the entire lot. Still no signage 24 hours later but was told it was 30% off. Wanted to speak to a manager to see if I could buy what I needed. Tile Manager came and told me it was 10% off. I told him there was no signage and I had already been told it was 30% off twice now. He said he would honor the discount but that I had to buy the entire lot to get the discount. I explained to him there was no signage that indicates its s lot buy to get the discount. Keep in mind this is after I was quoted two different discounts three seperate times. Manager told me I could not swap out scratched pieces. No returns. Floor & Decor zip tied loose pieces together. I have no idea what kind of pieces are on those packs they created, can't, exchange any pieces they clumped together and to get the discount I need to purchase more than I need. Not sure the discount was worth it. Manager didn't want to work with me on quantities even though his own department lacked the proper signage. He was reluctant to provide the managers name, and flat out didn't give me the district manager name. This store lost out on a small sale tonight, but they lost out on a bigger sale down the road with grout, tools, and a saw for this project. Lack of good customer service will keep me from purchasing product for a larger wood flooring project I have coming down the road. Customer service is vital for any organizaion I choose to spend my money with. Many of the one star reviews tell a story/history of weak customer service in this store. Spend your money in as store that cares your there. It's not floor and decor. I've had great experiences with lumber liquidators in the past for hard woods. read more

I had previously wrote a great review of this location two years ago, but a recent visit has compelled me to update my rating from 4/5 to 2/5. Floor and Decor still has an extensive selection of tile and wood flooring, which earns it 2 stars, but man oh man what a freaking circus. The place is consistently staffed at what must be the bare minimum employees. DO NOT EXPECT ANY HELP. I REPEAT: DO NOT EXPECT ANY HELP. If you do manage to snag an employee, most do not have the training to answer questions. Management seems apathetic to this issue. I've had positive experiences with a young blond guy in the tile section and Scott(?) In tile, but that's it. Expect to wait upwards of 20 minutes in line for checkout. Larry at Floor and Decor is AMAZING!!! We could not have remodeled our 3 bathrooms without him. And now we are on to remodel our Master Bath and wouldn't even consider doing it without Larry's help. He is so knowledgeable and gives us great tips and ideas. He always makes time to check in on us and see how we're doing and if we need any help. We were looking at the rough cut quartz for our fireplace and he said wait I've got to show you something, he came over and poured water over the stone completely changing the look and made it even more gorgeous. He explained how putting a sealer on the stone can bring out the color. He's just amazing, thank you Larry for ALL you do we'll be in to pick up more materials from him in a couple days. read more
