Definitely the best selection of any place we've checked out. Prices are much cheaper and the staff is great. Andy spent 20 minutes with us talking about the differences in tile we were deciding on - moving displays, looking at grout, helping us pick out sample pieces to bring home. Yuck. I came here to browse and possibly get some ideas/find some options for a big remodel/addition. Granted, the day before I had been to my subcontractor's impeccable showroom and to the Stone Collection (countertops, not flooring), but this place was off-putting. Dirty. Inventory stacked on pallets in the aisles that I had to squeeze around. A lot of variation on shades of brown. Absolutely nothing in their tile selection that I would want in my house. Might be better if you're looking for wood or laminate (subcontractor is matching existing wood so not something I was picking out) or if you want brown/beige tile. read more

One of the most poorly run retails stores you'll find. I ordered bamboo flooring including transition and quarter round trim. The quarter round came two weeks later than the flooring and the transition shipped was the wrong color and I never ended up getting the new transition. The warehouse, where you pick up your special orders is a disorganized disaster. So perhaps the missing parts of my order were actually there somewhere but could not be located. Every time you go to check out there's a huge line and only one cashier. The people there try to help. So I'm guessing it's a management or system problem. Probably better off going to Home Depot or some other floor specialty. It's one of those stores you dread going to. The staff has little to no expertise in flooring or floor products and certainly not in the installation. read more

UPDATE: 06/13/2016 Please see my original review on 05/16/2016 regarding the saga leading up to this point... Just as I feared would happen, F&D managed to biff up our order. On the date of the original post (05/16/2016) my boyfriend called F&D to check on our order. At that time he was told 5-7 days. Low and behold, my boyfriend called back 05/30/2016 and the young man who answered the phone's response was: "ahh...it'll be here by June 12th." No mention of their previous promise to deliver within 5-7 days. Today (06/13/2016), we still had not heard from F&D regarding our order and I figured an in-person conversation was warranted. I went to the store after work and advised the young woman at the front computer I was here to pick up a special order, which was to arrive on 06/12/2016 and we had not received any phone calls. As she typed away on the computer I could feel my blood pressure rising, and when she mumbled, "it looks like we have two in-stock" I began steeling myself for the coming conversation with the store manager. Because we ordered three pieces, NOT TWO. She disappeared to the back warehouse for 12 minutes and I nearly keeled over when she returned with our order. I took the pieces and loaded them in my car when I noticed a piece of paper attached. On a whim, I looked it over and it was a date/time stamped printout stating the order had arrived and the printout was PRINTED on 06/03/2016 @ 8:19 PM. So, not only did our order arrive a week and a half ago, the store NEVER called us, even though at the bottom of the printout was a section labeled "notification." In that category it stated my boyfriend was notified via phone. No, yah didn't. Our household is unequivocally DONE with F&D. Their ineptitude delayed our basement production by two months, while we waited time and time again for this ridiculous special order. And in the interim, we were able to order four doors from Home Depot (two of which were custom) and Home Depot managed to fulfill our order in the promised time frame, with no issues. I would say F&D should take note of the exceptional customer service their competitors provide, by they already know they've got shoddy service and apparently, they don't care. Save yourself the wasted time, the headache and hassle of going to this store. While you might pay more at other big name stores like Lowe's and Home Depot, you can rest assured your experience at those places will be much smoother and less stressful. read more

While they may have a decent selection - their service is HORRIBLE. We were there on the afternoon of 12/9/11 and could not hold anyone's attention. We then picked out some sample to buy. Got chastized for not having the SKU number. They gave us a pencil and paper to go write them down. I love floor and decor. Been using them for awhile and a lot of contractors we met always suggest them. Wanted to give a shout out to Crystal at the county line location. She had dealt with a not so happy and unreasonable customer in front of me and the customer had some attitude. Crystal handled it professionally and then proceeded to greet me with a smile when it was my turn in line. I had a lot of items to return since our contractor over bought supplies. Gee, do I even have to give them one star? Companies that don't stand behind their product do not deserve to continue to do business and that is our experience with this place.. AVOID THIS PLACE and DO NOT be swayed by their prices. Their Corporate office DOES NOT stand behind defective products and it can cost you thousands to repair the result of them NOT providing proper installations instructions for laminate flooring -and this lack was VERIFIED by a certified floor inspector at cost to us, the customer. So we are left holding the bag, so to speak because they won't stand behind what they sell. The problems started showing up months after installation of 12mm laminate flooring and so that was another issue since of course the warranty had ended. And they are also 'deceptive' in that a serach shows THEY are actually the company behind these laminate goods-ECOFOREST-although at the store they will just say they don't carry it anymore. And even if we wanted to just make do and repair as best we can, they no longer offer the product and two different sales people stated it'd been sent back and discontinued due to problems with it. They stood behind another defective product we'd gotten in years past but interestingly enough now, WHEN it was something they made, they are not. Their risk management denied a claim so we will be seeing them in court. Seriously, go to HOME DEPOT or LOWES or join DIRECT BUY...anything but FLOOR AND DECOR. read more

I have a long-term love/hate relationship with Floor and Decor. It is always my first stop when I start a tile or flooring project. Their inventory is huge and they have great and informative displays. I always get great ideas from there. However, their service is really hit and miss. Some trips there I've had lots of help and other days I feel like I'm invisible (or worse: that I'm a nuisance). Twice, I've picked out what I wanted there, never got any help and ended up driving down County Line to another store to make my purchase. The checkout process, especially on weekends can be an arduous and lengthy chore. Their return policy also leaves a lot to be desired. And yet I keep going back for more! read more

Terrible customer service. No communication after several attempts to contact via phone and email. Delivery of floors took twice as long without notification. My contractor had to personally go there to follow up several times. Costing us significant amount of money to delay project and contractors. Wrote to customer service to see what happened and I we ever received was automated responses. For a $15000 project, you would think they would be invested in customer service, not only for big purchases but for small ones as well! I will never shop here again. If you need small inexpensive supplies, this is the place. But if you are planning timely expensive projects look elsewhere where service is important! read more

My husband and I are getting ready for some major home renovations. We came to Floor & Decor with a basic idea of what we wanted to do but we had no idea where to start. We walked around for a while until we found some help. Kimberly was fabulous. She was patient while we searched for tile and stone that we liked. She was willing to help us find multiple price-points, she was very knowledgeable about the product, and she was extremely helpful with design advice. We've shopped for tile here for both our bathroom and kitchen remodels and this place has the best selection and price in the Southern burbs that we found. We were even told by a contractor friend that you can get some fantastic deals on tile here. Service is solid, but the selection of porcelain, ceramic, travertine, marble, and hardwood as well as the prices really make this the place for our tile needs. read more

We recently bought bathroom floor tile at this store.The Design Manager, Jayd Garcia, was very helpful in helping us match the tile with our granite counter tops. She has quite the eye for seeing different shades of color and her suggestions were appreciated. After narrowing it down to several possibilities, we were able to take samples home to see what they would look like in our bathrooms. We would recommend anyone wanting a professional opinion to work with Jayd on your selections. Our one negative comment has to do with how the store lists the price per square foot directly above the tile samples. It said, $2.00/sq. foot in huge print. Our tile was 13X13 sq. feet. Since it was over the 12X12 size the actual cost was $4.35/sq. foot. This is listed but in "fine print" at the bottom of the pricing banner. read more

It is really overwhelming when you walk into the store as we'd never done this before. The selection of different options is incredible! After wandering around for a while we were able to work with Kam Smallwood (one of their complementary designers on staff). Kam was awesome at giving us some initial ideas as to where to start and then worked with us to design an incredible spare bathroom in our basement. I really appreciated Kam's honest feedback about my wife and my ideas but she also let us do the creating. Without her being there, I don't think I would have had the same experience. With Kam it's a 5 star place. If you are new at this like we were and didn't have Kam, It would have been a 2 star experience. read more

I had been searching for tile for many months to complete my bathroom remodel. I've visited just about every store in Denver and just could not find what I was looking for. A friend finally recommended that I visit the Floor and Decore store in Highlands Ranch. I took his advice and was lucky enough to be helped by a designer named Helen. Helen was amazing!!! She was the first person at any store that I thought really listened to what I was looking for and helped me find exactly the right thing! She gave me very good advice and wasn't afraid to give me her honest input when she thought I was making a design mistake. I would not have purchased the tile if Helen had not been the designer helping me. She is very kind, knowledgeable and patient. We are finishing our basement and went into Floor & Decor armed with a laundry list of different tiles we needed for our bathroom and shower as well as a ton of questions. Andy was there to help and he saved our butts. He has great recommendations on grout colors and different finishing touches and also recommended us picking up some items that weren't even on our list but we did in fact need. (Like schluter haha!) He was helpful and knowledgeable and patient. And when I wanted to give him a compliment, his manager Larry was on lunch but still came off his lunch break to talk to me! Our contractor recommended Floor and Decor because of reasonable pricing and the ability to return, for refund, unused tile. So much tile in the store, it was initially overwhelming. But then we met Pam. Pam is an onsite designer who helped us at every stage of the project. She provided critical information--things we wouldn't have thought about--and made sure we ordered everything the contractors would need. She even contacted us to recommend a change to selected grout color because she thought there was a better option. There was!! We had to make some changes during the project and Pam was there helping us the entire time. She really cared about our project and was as eager as we were to see photos of the completed project. We returned several times to refund unused supplies and were never questioned. The cashiers were a bit gruff so we recommend getting with Pam and keeping her involved throughout. read more

I am a regular homeowner that saved money for months to remodel my house, when I was ready for floor I went to floor & decor to buy my flor. Once I was there I had a really nice young guy helping me, don't remember his name, but I told him what I was doing and that I need 800sqf or that specif floor because I was putting it on my kitchen and living room floor, it was one big open space. I spent about 3k for the floor and bought it all at once, no separate purchases or tickets. He told me that they didn't have it there and I would have to go to other store to pick it up, as soon as I got to the other store they had everything for me I loaded my truck and went home. I had the majority of the tiles in my living room when the drywall guys were finishing up sanding the kitchen and everything was covered in a little bit of white dust, nut a big deal but all my floor was white also. We install the floor, I had a friend help me and we did everything but when I did the final cleaning on The floor I realized that the floor has two shades of white and my floor now look like a chess board, I went back to the store and and talked to the manager who told me that it was my problem and he couldn't do anything and told me to call the manager at the store that I picked up the floor. I called the guy and the same story, it was my fault for not checking the lots and when I was trying to talk and explain he hang up on my face, I try again and the same thing, picked up and hang up. I try to explain to him that I am a regular person not a professional installer and when I buy exactly the same floor same brand same color at the same time and store to me it supposed to be the same thing, I didn't know I had to check it and if they knew about the problem with different lots why sell it to me, if they knew that all they have in stock with the same lot why not tell me that I need to wait or at least tell me to make sure theytare the same color before I install it, now I spend all my Money and Im stuck with a floor that I need to reinstall everything and nobody at floot&decor show a little bit of concern or consideration, all the amazing customer service you guys advertise is bull shit. I know this is nothing to you guys but to my and my wife it was everything and you have two very sad and unsatisfied customers who had their dreams of their house all remodeled and with nice floors ruined, I really hope you guys start to train your employees better so more home owners don't have to go through the same nightmare we dad to. read more

Horrible customer service, screwed up and online order which my installers had no clue and installed 2 shower surrounds wrong because the people fulfilling online orders apparently can't read, not a single person there has any education in what they are selling, if you try and call you will never get a single person to answer or if you do they will not be able to help you, it has been problem after problem & in all my years I have never been more upset with a single place! I went to this Floor and Decor yesterday knowing what wood tile I wanted to order for my home project after receiving several samples that I ordered. Helen in the design center was awesome - she made sure I was purchasing the correct amount of tile, helped me decide on the grout color, and assisted in my selection of stacked stone to replace the current tile on my fireplace. We are remodeling a bathroom and a few other areas in our home and went to Floor and Décor in Highlands Ranch for tile for the job. On Saturday morning, we were helped in the store by a wonderful sales associate that took good care of us. We bought and paid for a large order of tile at that time and let them know that our contractor would be picking it up. No problem they said. Then Monday morning when our tile contractor shows up to pick it up, the order is not put together, it is not ready, nobody has started putting the order together and our contractor is told there are 8 people ahead of him. Ok- they were supposed to put the pallet together on Saturday but I guess they didn't. Then they told my tile contractor that they would have it ready the next morning (Tuesday). So after waiting an hour and a half on Monday for this bit of information, they left. Now it is Tuesday morning and they wait again at the store for their pickup - over an hour - and they are told again, well, we are working on orders for other people - sorry. Finally, supposedly they are working on it but can't find the tile they were supposed to be looking for on Saturday. My tile contractor does not make money unless he is working and he isn't working when he is waiting at a store for 3-4 hours (and counting) while having his job delayed because the store put other customers ahead of our order. I feel bad sending him there. I liked the tile that we picked out but it wasn't worth the hassle. We should have gone somewhere else. read more

I bought glass tile and sanded grout at the same time. I wasn't thinking as I just purchased the same grout I had used earlier for ceramic tile. One person saw this as well as the cashier and neither said not to use the sanded grout on the glass tile. When I had the grout ready to install and saw what I had purchased, I thought to call the store. It took over 8 minutes for someone to answer the phone and I get a cashier who wasn't sure but thought it wouldn't be wise. I called back to get a more clear answer and again it took over 5 minutes to answer. When I went back for un-sanded grout, I was told to wait at the end of the long line at the register instead of leaving my return while I shopped (like I had done on other trips to the store). After I got back to the register and was refused a refund on an opened product, I asked to speak to a manager as I felt the store was partially culpable. The manager was very rude and when I mentioned that I had spent over $13 thousand on flooring and tile for my remodel job, she couldn't care less. This wasn't my first time dealing with a very rude manager who only cared about following company policy. I have had other things to write about in the past but bit my tongue. However, since I won't be returning, I decided to help others know that the managers here are not trained very well. read more
