My wife and I had gone to Floor and Decor many times to get ideas for our house that was being built. In early February when we were finally ready to order tile we encountered Robert (Carreon) who helped us pick out 4 different tile selections with one having to be ordered, day he took care of everything and called me the next to confirm my order and called me again a few days later to tell me everything was in. Thru out the whole process he was totally professional, friendly, courteous and patient. Outstanding customer service! Thank you Robert. In need of materials for a remodel on our home in Big Bear, with the help of "Na" and "Feliciano", selecting the correct products was a SNAP! These two guys are friendly, personable and knowledgeable not only about the store's inventory, but about the installation as well. Interesting business relationship, went in to the showroom and looked at flooring and was given a card to call and have someone come out and take measures and give me a cost to install floor. Called number three times with no answer, left messages to return my call,and nobody called back. I ordered stack stone / stone veneer around March 8th. One person told me it would arrive in about two weeks. Another person told me toward the end of the month or the first week of April. I went back in on April 6th to check on the status of my order and they told me it would be another two to three weeks. If I didn't go in to check id still be waiting and I don't think they were going to call me with any updates. I asked for a refund and they wanted me to wait at least a week for their corporate to issue me a corporate refund check that would be mailed to me. I told them I payed with cash and I wanted my refund in cash. They said all they could do was offer a refund by company check. After refusing their check option and demanding cash their manager showed up and again said that was all they could offer and they didn't have cash in the store and it was corporate policy to issue refunds only by check. I told him that was not acceptable and they need to figure it out cause I wanted my cash. After going round and round a bit longer and not backing down (me), the manager offered to process the refund on my debit card. ( I thought he told me there was nothing else he could offer). He said once they process the refund to my debit card it would be up to my bank as to how fast they will post it to my account. My bank processed it and posted it to my checking account the same day. 1. Do you believe they store doesn't have cash on hand? 2. When they said a refund can only be given by a corporate company issued check, that was not true. He lied. 3. Do they have to pay a service fee by processing refunds to customers debit cards? read more

I came here for the first time this week and purchased tile for my bathroom remodel. The showroom is gorgeous. The variety of material (mainly tile, stone and flooring) in current styles coupled with low prices and fantastic customer service blew me away! Nna, the associate who helped me, was very patient while I was back and forth deciding which tile I liked best, willing and able to answer all of my questions, and knowledgeable about inventory and installation materials. Spent yesterday morning at the LaQuinta store selecting flooring for renovating our home. Steven Avila & Andrik were so helpful to us, I don't know what we would have done without them. Andrik provided so much information re the different types of flooring and answered our many questions. We ended up purchasing our flooring from them. So glad we did. We were amazed at all the inventory that the store had to offer! All the employees we interacted with were so pleasant, not like some other chain stores we had visited for building supplies & flooring. My wife and I found ourselves going back and forth to the LaQuinta Floor and Decor an unbelievable number of times, almost every day for several months. We developed a relationship with the staff and discussed where we should place the mattress we ordered so we could spend the night and be fresh to start again the next day. Everyone became good sports as we tried to pick out tile for our new bathrooms. They went out of their way to answer questions and make suggestions. By the way, this tile was going to be picked up in Chicago for our apartment there. So no commission was expected by them. "We're just doing our job and being helpful." What a wonderful experience it was having so many helping people that were so well trained. Floor and Decor management should be commended. It's hard to pick out a standout, but Bianca Lopez, our designer, was just magnificent in every respect. She went above and beyond our expectations. If I was still in business, I would try and steal her away. She should be placed in an executive leadership program. She was absolutely superb. read more

This review is for one person. Her name is Denise. on 11-28-2022 i needed to replace 5 boxes of tile that did not match the other boxes. I went in to the loading/unloading area. The worker there watched us back in and unload. After we did this he informed us that we needed to go elsewhere for help. We went to the front of the store and the people told us where to go and offered no assistance. We on our own went to the area she told us to go. My contractor down on the ground looking for boxes as i am handicapped and not much help. One person DENISE came up and asked if she could help. She found the boxes, went to the back and found more for us. She was helpful and delightful and knows how to provide customer service. My wife and I were concerned about an order we had placed for porcelain tiles for a guest bathroom remodeling project. When we went back to the store in La Quinta, California, our concerns were quickly addressed and we were put at ease as a result of the attentive service we received from Ms. Iris Mendez, an assistant manager. She reassured us that the tile we requested is on order and she will notify us when it comes in. Iris also helped us look at alternative tiles and patiently accompanied us in our search. I found an expert on all kinds of flooring from laminate to hardwood and all the "thicknesses" between. He listened to me and my needs. He then gave me a walking education reiterating what I'd learned online from other sources. He knew his stuff from the different materials to what he felt would be the best for my home flooring situation. He then listened further as I said I'd like a wide plank floor. We ended with a brand new product which is just being introduced which met and exceeded my needs while still within my price point and perfect color and as non-skid as possible for my 89 year old mother. Looking to retile entire house plus patio around 3300 sq ft. Plus bathroom tile. Went to several local tile company then to floor & Decor. Never heard of it before. Large place a little overwhelming at first. We lucked out with a great sales agent "Amy". She was so great and helped with matching bathroom tile that saved me money and looked great. We met three time she never rushed and handle the purchase like a pro she is! We saved over $10,000 from the other tile place we picked. Although I believe reviews are important and I count on them I must admit this may be my 2nd or 3rd review I have ever written. I have been inspired to write this one. My husband and I are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and flooring. This task can become stressful at times but rewarding in the end. Searching for items, shopping locally and online, discovering so many styles and options and comparing prices has given me endless possibilities. I can't say enough about how refreshing and inspiring it was at every turn to shop with the staff at the LaQuinta floor & Decor. Every visit and there has been many, I was greeted with a authentic hello and offers of help. I have been to the design department at the Lowes here twice as possibly a large purchase customer for cabinets countertops etc . On each visit I was clearly recognized by the employees sitting at there design desks and sadly for them I was completely ignored . They were not on the phone or working with a customer . Never once did I receive a Hello , or I'll will be with you in a moment. Just a look noticing me and that was all. So I'm guessing they don't need the business .So all that being said this is my reason to write this review. Not only was I greeted at the La Quinta store entrance but also by every associate that I passed in the store. I was helped by the most attentive ,friendliest ,knowledgeable associates from start to finish. They all went above and beyond my expectations and trust me I'm coming from years of personal experience working with high end clients. I would like to Name personally the associates who inspired me to write this and say Thank you and Bravo for taking such care of me with my remodel decisions and purchases .
