WORST experience with a contractor in my life and I have been an architect outside of California and builder for 20 years. This guy was the kid whose "dog ate his homework" in school. We heard every excuse in the book. He took a 50% depsit from us which apparently is illegal in California. We no longer want him on our property, instead of fixing the problems he insulted our hospitality to him and his workers. He's not a nice person, and he is dishonest besides being a complete hack. A simple Google search will generate an AI response that is devastating. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Any claim that he is "working with us" is untrue. ZERO STARS -- STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY Octavio will promise you everything, then deliver excuse after excuse. I don't even know where to begin, but here are the facts: 1. It took over a month for him to partially complete the job. Getting him to return and finish what was originally agreed upon was nearly impossible. We had already paid him, and my husband was literally begging him to follow through on his promises. Huge mistake on our part. 2. He demanded a large deposit before the work was completed, which clearly removed any incentive for him to show back up or correct issues. 3. He constantly bragged about his "big projects," making it clear that our job did not matter to him. 4. He insulted my husband via text message -- completely unprofessional. 5. When we reached out asking when he would return to fix the damage he caused, he sent a photo of himself at a bar instead of responding appropriately. 6. Most importantly: terrible craftsmanship. One example -- when his tile installer wasn't available, he convinced us to let him do the tile work himself. He installed visibly chipped tiles. This is basic quality control and completely unacceptable. This project was a nightmare from the very beginning. Poor workmanship, unprofessional behavior, and disrespect toward clients. Save yourself the stress and use literally anyone else. Follow-up response to Octavio- regardless of your response. You are NOT welcome into our home. Your history speaks for itself. You have become a liability to our family and little ones. You fooled us too many times already. Can we say fraudulent practice? Save your niceties for someone else. All lies from you. I hope that you wouldn't charge someone for is talking crap work. Who installs chipped tile and is okay with it? And excepts payment in full?! Is this an absolute joke? UNBELIEVABLE!! The end product is beautiful -- really beautiful! We had ORD replace our main bathroom cabinets sinks and faucets. What was a 1-2 week job as noted in the contract turned out to be way longer. No complaints on the workmanship but Octavio (the owner) desperately needs a little help in project management. This took way longer than I expected. I suggested to him to keep his customers informed. If there are delays -- OK -- but show the order dates and then corresponding proof of delays . Don't start the demo April 1 and then not install the new cabinets until May 16. Octavio made up for mishaps with discounts and things thrown in -- some of which I was unaware were my costs, which he then covered. He did offer a free cabinet over the toilet and roll-out shelving for the doors under the sinks, plus the cabinet pulls. That was generous. My advice to future customers: YES USE ORD but stipulate deadlines in the contract with consequences for not meeting them. Also ask to be outlined in the contract what are the customers' responsibilities as far as buying parts and their costs. Be prepared to prompt Octavio for updates. He responds very quickly. Octavio said he wanted my bathroom project to show the end-product in order to attain the other bathroom remodels and to do my kitchen, but I cannot be without a kitchen for 2 months. Yes -- an impressive end-product. We love it. I'd love to see what he can do for my kitchen, but in a more timely manner. read more

Had a kitchen remodel and new tile throughout house done in 2017. Frustrating from beginning to end. Definitely pushes to get money quick (robbing Peter to pay Paul) then doesn't order the material he said he needed funds to buy. Didn't get the tile I wanted around fireplace due to this. He put in a enclosed area for fridge (which we didn't ask for), would have been nice, but they didn't measure for fridge, not big enough and huge scratches on fridge when they shoved it in. Octavio constantly lies to try and appease you. Crew was messy, had a few good guys, but not enough. Huge tape stain across ceiling, which he did not fix. End of job he said he doesn't paint... it was on the contract that painting was included. He raised the ceiling in kitchen and said "no problem" for color matching paint to blend to rest of ceiling. He couldn't and he didn't. We have long ceiling cracks where they raised the ceiling now - will have to be redone. He scratched our new appliances they installed and they were not leveled. The seal around undermount sink started coming off about 6 months after it was installed. Drain pipes under sink not installed with proper angles for drainage. So many grout areas in floor tiles that are missing/ holes. To top it off, the cabinets are super poor quality... really hard to clean. When installing cabinets, nails went through the wall to hallway behind - which we had to paint. Kickboard under cabinets is also coming off. All the doors were not aligned. Octavio came back a few times to adjust and they still aren't right. These are just things I can still remember. It was best to be done with him, then to keep having him come back to fix things.
